Just booked some ADRs. We will have a car so we will eat off site too. We love Carraba's Italian Grill over on 192. We do not have a Carrabas near us at home so we love eating there in Florida.

Anyway:

7/17 Chefs de France 2:50pm
7/23 Crystal Palace 8:25am
7/26 The Wave 5:50pm

I have to call back for reservations after that since it was beyond 10 days of our arrival.

just booked SSR for 9 nights with our DVC developer points starting on July 12. It will be my, DS13, and DS8 on this trip. We are really looking forward to staying somewhere new and our first DVC stay. With the military discount tickets, this trip is a VERY good deal except for airfare from CA!

Every trip we have taken has been carefully planned out. This trip we have decided to wing it (this was not my decision) for the most part and see how it goes.
We will we doing one day in each park and then at the end will figure out which one we want to use our 'extra' day in. This will be our first trip using the Water Parks and More option and my youngest's first DQ visit. Since we will be staying near DTD, I see three trips to DQ in my future.....and one to each water park.

We usually do one of the dining plans, but with SSR and our schedule (or therefore lack of), we have decided to wing this too and not do a plan. (Another stressor!!!) We will book Breakfast at Ohana...my youngest is a Stitch obsessed fan and hit up RFC and T-Rex. I think we may have to check out a couple of the DTD restaurants that we haven't tried also. Any recommendations?

We go so often that we don't need to spend 12 hours in the parks so plan to enjoy some relaxing time at the resort and participate in those activities.

The key word on this trip is "RELAX"....I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

First I want to say THANK YOU for your service to our country.

Second Welcome to our thread. Sometime soon I will update the who's going list.

I'm up to make my reservations. The CM Kelli, answered the phone, "Is this Mr. Smith?" Then started to take my ADR and said, "What I am going to do it..." And then hung up on me. Back on hold, but I'm still optimistic!

Just made my ADRs and BBB reservation. I was on the phone right at 7 a.m. and had zero hold time. And I've already called back and changed one reservation (LOL) and again had no hold time at all. A couple of things I wanted weren't available in the time frames I wanted, so I'll probably do some changing between now and our trip. But for the most part I got what I wanted:

7/18 'Ohana, 5:20 p.m.

7/21 50s Prime Time Cafe, 11:10

7/21 Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine, 4:10 (I really didn't want it this early but it was the only time the system was showing available. I was hoping for closer to 6 p.m.)

7/24 Coral Reef, 6 p.m.

BBB appointment, 7/20 at MK, 8 a.m.

I tried to make reservations for Spoodles for any time at all during our trip and was told that the computer system couldn't even access Spoodles, so the CM said she thinks it will be closing prior to our trip. I was sad about that. I thought they weren't closing until August but apparently that's not the case.

I am going to keep trying back for a later time on the Fantasmic Dining Package. I really didn't want two ADRs on the same day but we're kind of locked in to DHS that day since my kids really want to see Fantasmic, and they also really want to eat at 50s PTC. We'll see if that stays or if I end up changing it. LOL

I'm thinking about adding one more ADR but haven't decided yet. I'm thinking about doing one somewhere in DTD on Saturday, 7/25 -- any suggestions?

Born 2B a Princess, you had a fantastic experience. I was on hold twice and then learned that you aren't allowed to use the 10 day window with SoG. So, I have to call each day to make our ADR's. Funny, SoG you get the EMH, but not the 10 day window for ADR's?

Oh no! I was planning on Spoodles for dinner one night! Back to the drawing board. Your ADRs look great by the way!

Got an email this morning from Poly IPO saying all my ADR's are booked! yay!!!!

7/18 Coral Reef 5:20p.m

7/19 Tony's Town Square- 7:05p.m

7/20 Le Cellier 7:45p.m

7/21 Kona Cafe 5:30p.m

I just wanted to say we have never done the Fantasmic Dinner Package and if we arrive an hour in advance we have always gotten good seats. My understanding is that the dinner package section is way over to one side. We sat there one time and it was hard to see everthing that was going on. Since you have a big lunch that day, you might want to think of just going to Fantasmic early, getting snacks - there are concessions right in the theater area, and waiting it out. It is fun, the audience starts doing the wave etc to pass the time. Just a thought! But, with all that said - I will also say since they are no longer showing Fantasmic every night that may make a difference.

You're not supposed to - BUT - I did it the other day....weird huh? My first 2 days calling I asked if I could and got a resounding NO. But on the 3rd time calling I asked and got a "sure, lets try". and it all went through.

So the system can do it. The policy says no. But it can't hurt to try.

Hello everyone! I personally live here... but my family is coming to visit July 23-30 and they've asked to plan their entire trip!!

The 90 day mark is next week... do I need to call each morning for 7 days in order to make all of their reservations... that's going to get a little crazy. Here's the plan:

Mom, Dad and 16 year old brother!

Staying at Pop Century on the DDP

7/23: Dinner at Whispering Canyon
7/24: MK - Keys of the Kingdom Tour, no table service
7/25: EP - Undiscovered Epcot Tour, Dinner at France
7/26: Breakfast at Boma, day at Seaworld
7/27: DHS - Dinner at Sci-fi Diner
7/28: Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, day at Universal
7/29: DAK - Dinner at Germany
7/30: Breakfast at Ohanas then DisneyQuest

Tips or ideas? Thanks!

Edit: I should mention that they are on my tickets, so EMH and MK are not available to them. They are paying for the day to go on the MK Tour.

Tinkerbell60 -- We thought about not doing the Fantasmic Dining Package...we did it trip and that night there was a huge thunderstorm and they cancelled Fantasmic after we were all already seated. So we had to come back another night to see Fantasmic and we waited in line for at least an hour and a half to get in, and then sat for another hour so before the show started. Made for a very unhappy DH....so he said that if the kids want to see Fantasmic again, we have to do the dinner package so that we don't have to stand in line so long to get in, since we'll be sitting for a long time waiting for the show to start. He really hates lines. LOL Who knows....if they end up adding more Fantasmic shows and nights I may end up cancelling it a little closer to our trip. I hate to spend that much money on a buffet b/c we really don't each that much.

The threads about Fantasmic attendance over the last few weeks are really what convinced me to do the dinnig package -- 2+ hours in line is insane.

Since they are staying on property you should be able to make ressies for 10 days at the 90 day mark. Just curious...what kind of tickets do you have where MK isn't available?
