My DH keeps asking who all these "DIS" people are that I keep talking about and why I talk in acronyms (Poly, CBR, SM, etc.) -- I keep trying to get him to check out the board...I keep telling him there are other men here....

I was lucky just to get my DH to look at the photos of cakes on the cake thread. He agreed that the one I selected was great... but no decision on whether or not to order it. Problem is.... we'd need a ADR for dinner at a non-buffet place to order it. It doesn't make sense to have a cake delivered to a buffet restaurant because it already includes SOO much dessert that you don't want to miss.

Well we are mostly ready. Just a few odd and ends left to do. So not bad!

So I have two suitcases, the cooler and snack bag for the van. And the cameras of course! Not bad! The rest of the stuff is pictures and birthday presents we are dropping off to family when we stop at the park on the way!

I love that you posted pictures of your suitcases. It makes me feel like my vacation is right around the corner.

Tomorrow is the first day that I can start preparing for the trip. My children have a movie date with their friends tomorrow. Yeah!!!!

Finally decided to go back will be at ASMo July4th moving to BWV the 5th and 6th flying out the 7th

We are getting very close and I'm starting to freak out about whether we're ready to go. I still need to go shopping to get me some clothes to wear and my wife needs to go pick up some stuff.

The good news is that I think both kids are pretty much fully packed. I have three days off this weekend, and I think we're going to spend most of that just making sure we're ready to go!!!!

Oh boy, I can't wait. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.

only you all would understand...I bought milk dated July 9 and thought "I will be in Disney when this milk expires!" LOL

I also have a dh who needs shorts, its been so cold up here in MA that we haven't even needed them yet, so I have to get him to dig out what he has. Took the kids for sneakers today. DD16 will probably just flip flop the whole time but I wanted her to have sneaks just in case. DS9 needed new sneaks.

I am still lacking in shorts..but I think I'll manage now. I"m tired of shopping LOL.

Yep - I do it too! I also need some more shorts but everything that I try on I think "Yuck" and walk out of the store. I have short legs so many shorts make me look even shorter and that is definitely something that I don't need! I'm so tired of shopping for clothes (for myself) but I still excited when I buy the simple, needed item such as travel tooth paste, hand-held fans, snacks for the drive, etc.!

That's funny! I will be wearing them and so will my kiddos! You can't beat the drying time for them after a go on SM!!

I went in Oct 2008. October is a great time to go. We did the MNSSHP. I went as Snow White... got lots of compliments on my costume. I actually look a lot like Snow White, so people thought I was authentic... til they got up close and could see I'm not 20!! It was a fun event. I'd definitely go if you have little ones. We missed the headless horseman though, because although we had great weather most of the time, that day it rained on and off. The horse couldn't run the streets safely, so they canceled that part of the show. But overall, it was awesome. DD6 (aka Tinkerbell) loved it!

I love Congress Bldg since I love to BBQ by the quiet Pool. This weekend I am staying at BWV and will be scotuing the BBQ pit there...
