OFFICIAL JULY 2009 THREAD!!! (Part 2) It's here!!

Hey fellow July '09ers! Tom and I just booked our next trip. We are going to stay at POR from July 1-8. A little nervous about being there over the 4th but I think we can handle it. Spent the majority of the morning sketching out a basic schedule and booking ADRs online. All of that made me miss you guys!!

A year ago at this time, we were compiling a list of where everyone is staying at, everyone's ADRs, planning to meet up. I can't believe the number of people from this thread I ran into on my trip! I looked for a July 2010 thread and didn't even see one. I wish you we were all going back again this July so we keep on going!

We had such a great group, I think probably the BEST official thread of the month there ever was!

I havent been on the boards much these days because we weren't planning on going to Disney this year and because I got a new job. ( I'm a cruise travel agent!) however, disney offered the military deal again this year so i convinced Dbf do do another July trip! we are going the end of july into august and staying at the Poly again! I'm going to hop onto the July 2010 boards soon and see whats happening over there!

You should all change your trip to June 20-27. You know you want to avoid the tour groups, and be there when I am! I tried joining the June 2010 thread. No bonding felt there. Please, oh please!

I am getting excited again, actually made my ADR's tonight. Hadn't really planned on it, until I realized that our first night is Father's Day, and Brad wanted Ohana...

Not looking forward to Father's Day this year, maybe being at the World will help!

I have not booked my resort yet, we are still up in the air on dates - we will definately be there for July 4th but we may be arriving when you are still there. I will keep you posted.

Hang in there, I know those milestones are really rough - especially the first year. Being in the World does help - unfortunately I can say "been there done that".

See, what a thread. You all know exactly what I mean. If any of you aren't on Facebook yet - get over there! We'll probably still be posting here in 2011.... That would be a hoot!

You know what would be cool? Just to see how close we did get, a list of all the July people that met up.

Lois (Grandma4ever) Janet and the grandkids and my family did a wishes cruise together, and hung out for a while in AK also... I also ran into Carrie6466 at MK and we chatted for a while. Also met Shir Khan to do a fridge swap.. Not bad!

I did an illuminations cruise with MrsDisneyB2B (Jenny) and her new husband Vinnie

And nearly met WLFamily at Cape May Cafe (we were there same time but didn't know each other!).... and almost saw Mindy.. but it was during a rain storm so we couldn't stop, she did see me though!!

FYI there will be a lot of info on that tour floating around the DIS come April, because some of the DISUnplugged Podcasters/Bloggers will be taking that tour. I think I might go down to DL that weekend just to wave at them.

Hope everyone's Disney obsession is being fed well.

We went to DL weekend before last (and will be going again in 2 weeks).

I'm doing a solo trip down there in March for the D23 First Anniversary Party. It's gonna be cool, it's an after hours party in Fantasyland!

Then more trips in April & May!! See what happens when you buy an Annual Pass.
