Hey everyone!!!

This is mine & my DS5's first drip to WDW together. We will be staying at ASMo 7/19-23 & POR 7/23-26. We hope to get the chance to meet some of you while we're there!!

No. It is the rack rate for the standard room. It is what we were quoted when we originally booked.

i forgot to say in my previous post....I so need a code. I just switched from ASSR to the Contemporary.

Originally we were flying into Tampa and beginning our vaca there. The airline changed our flight time and it was too late for DH & DS to make their Red Sox game so they switched us to flying into Orlando. Since 2 will be in St Pete, I could book a Deluxe :>) for not all that much more than the original 2 rooms. Now, a code would really help that price difference up :O)

Of course, it's July so the odds are against me :<( but the upgrade is worth it, nonetheless

It is a marketing thing. Disney know there are folks out there for example us who watch email, snail mail etc for codes so they send out an email making the rates sound like a deal. Further there are those who don't travel plan, just sign up at the Disney website for email. They get the same email and think that sounds like a deal and book a trip. I've seen lot's of these emails announcing great rates but on further investigation it is only rack rate for that given time period.

I got codes years ago when I couldn't use them. Now that I want one I really am not holding my breath.

I believe you are correct that the $109 is the rack rate but I recieved the 30% off so I did get a pretty good deal since I was originally going in July but now not until August! I basically posted it to let people know that they are still sending codes I wasn't even paying too much attention to that $109 rate

Should I be calling them to see if I missed an email with a code? What if I got an email and thought it was spam I sure could use a code...This is costing a fortune with airfare from California!!!

I ask the reservation agent and they said you can apply a code to a trip already booked!! As long as the code and or discount is got for your travel dates. You can also call to see if a code is attached to your name, its worked for alot of people for not for me so far.

We're doing a Grand Gathering at YC July 20-27, then we're staying one more night at YC, and moving over to the Poly on the 28!

What room request did you make?

Funny to see those dates! We will also be at the Polynesian for part of that time
Wilderness Lodge from July 23rd to July 30th with family
Polynesian from July 30th to August 3rd
