We are going Jan 1-7. Staying at BRV. This was a surprise trip that we weren't expecting to take. It kind of fell in our lap. Interestingly, the first time I stayed at WL was for my honeymoon in January 2015. So it'll be our 10 yr anniversary! Kind of cool Our wedding was actually in the fall, and a few years ago we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Galaxy's Edge by building lightsabers together. This time we plan to build droids with our son

I've had some airline changes and now I get there 1 1/2 hours before I had originally planned. Since I'm staying my first night at Kidani, before my move to BCV, I'm thrilled. I'm already planning my first meal at Sanaa!

Probably not til like November but you can look at last Januarys hours, they’ll probably be the same. AK closing at 6 most days, not sure why they designed Pandora to be so cool at night when the parks never open past dark

I do know that AK closed at 7:00 on February 5th in 2024 (I was there) and since sunset was at around 6:15, I did see Pandora after dark. Come to think of it, in 2023 it closed at 7:00 on January 26th, but by then it was so cold, I was long gone! And I agree about Pandora being so cool to see at night when so few people can see it.

Thanks for the tip. I can see that last year and next years predicted hours show AK closing at 7pm.

Oh-and I just remembered that in 2024, they didn't show AK closing at 7:00 until about a week beforehand. Up until then, it was scheduled to close at 6:00 and I was SO disappointed since I hadn't stayed in 2023. When they changed it to 7:00, I was running around the house, so excited! DH thought I was crazy. I just wished Disney hadn't waited so long.

Define cold? We are from NJ and have been in December where our light down jackets + gloves were needed lol. Same situation, you think for January? Or… should we expect even colder? Lol

Generally, park hours are posted about 60 days in advance. So, around November 1st, we could see hours for December 31st.

As for adjustments, you could see changes about 1-3 weeks in advance. So, around the 3rd week of December, you might see calendar changes for the 1st week of January.

I think January should be similar, it just depends on whether a cold front comes through and how long it stays. Generally, you'd be looking at highs in the 50's-80's and lows in the 30's-60's (obviously, nights and mornings would be the biggest clothing challenges). Sometimes, monitoring past water park closures due to weather are a good indicator (and also keep an eye on those announcements during your vacation).

Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about it until about 1-2 weeks prior to vacation time. You could have the most beautiful weather, too!

Last year, it looks like room discounts for January 2024 came out late September (for January 2023, it was the previous October; for January 2022, it was November!).

Great info. Disney was early to release their 2025 hotel rooms so Im hoping the discounts are the same. They're already forecasting lower crowds in 25 than 24. **Fingers crossed**

Can you add me!? Traveling with my mom (80!) and I'm not sure who is more excited!

I'm low on DVC points, so we're staying at the Swan (new for both of us) Jan 22-28.

Hotel and airfares booked. Now need to look at tickets. Are there any ticket deals out there currently? I haven't looked yet.
