Official: January 2009

6 days and counting down! We will leave in the wee hours of Saturday morning for a 14 hour drive. Since I have the day off tomorrow for MLK holiday, I'm planning to start packing then. Friday afternoon will be busy with last minute errands and loading the car. Then early to bed, early to rise and off we go!!

Wow, lots of January Disney fans. Too bad there isn't an official DisBoard backpack or pin so I could wave to all the fellow "boarders".

I am still gathering last minute things too. Trying to stay down to 3 relatively smallish suitcases (US Airways charges $15/bag each way) which has been a real feat, since the weather in January can be cool or warm, so I need a little of both.

Just have to clean, get the last minute wash stuff done, get the mani and pedi done, a few other appointments/after school activities tomorrow and Wed and then collect the last minute items and we are nearly "good to go"!

The excitement is building!

We are all set, everything is paid off, and no kids!!!

Wow - time flies when you're on the last couple of days - I'm just waiting while I do laundry for 12:30 to roll around so I can print my boarding pass on-line - yes, 24 hours and I'm on my way - alone for a week, and boy do I need it! And I will welcome wearing a sweatshirt outside instead of a shirt, sweater, coat, scarf, hat & gloves & boots!!!!!
Have fun all - January is almost over, but the next week better go slow and easy while I'm there!

FOUR days, and I haven't started to pack or even finished my itinerary!! I am not usually such a slacker but this is really a LAST-MINUTE trip. I had some CM comp tickets coming in the mail which the trip was dependent on, and they finally arrived TODAY!!

I'm so jealous of ya all that are getting ready to go! I wish we were still getting ready to visit WDW, instead of just coming back.
This time two weeks ago, we were packing to go to WDW! I want to go back now!!
