Official "I'm IN and I'm running the 2005 Half (full) Marathon!" thread

Since there are a couple of threads where people are adding their names, I thought that it might be easier if there was an "official" I'm IN! thread. If not, this one can die

I did it. I still have to finagle the job situation, but that's okay. With this goal and WISH, I have lost weight and am a whole lot healthier than I was a year ago. I can hardly weight to see where I am in a year.

So...I'm in!!! Who else??

I just registered as well. Be careful when you register though. I have a scroll wheel on my mouse and somehow I managed to register myself for the wheelchair marathon. It's okay though because I emailed them and they made the change within minutes. I guess they're used to people who have difficulty filling out a form with pull down menus.

My goal is to finish the half marathon in the regulation time but if I don't that will be okay too. The success will be in trying my best. So, tomorrow we begin in ernest because there really isn't a lot of time when you figure how fast a year can fly by.

LOL Susan - I just double checked my receipt to make sure I wasn't in the wheelchair group too! I know what you mean about the mouse wheel!

I'm in and sooo glad I didn't have to stay up until midnight to register! This is such a cool thing! Hope my new clippie appears (fingers crossed)!

I'm "IN" too ! (thanks nancyk for doing this for me ... my dial-up internet that I have at home isn't always the most reliable and I didn't want to wait until I got into work on Monday). Got my confirmation e-mailed immediately!

It's real now, folks ... let the training begin (if you haven't already). Susan-Ontario is so right ... a year can fly by pretty darned quick !

PixieMagic TOO (right this very minute she's sound asleep at the Hilton at downtown Disney. I know she talked to some marathoners today...I sure hope they didn't scare her off.....cause she's IN!

This will make getting on the treadmill tomorrow soooo much easier.

Make sure you've given Kamy all the info she needs too! (I'm listed for the Dolphin....if the group rate is good.....sure am going to want to relax in a Deluxe when this is over! Now we'll have to start some threads on ways to save/earn extra $$ for this trip (and for some of us, a whole new wardrobe too).

Now lets see if I can get that clippie!

DH and I are in! It was great to be able to do this online. This time last year I wouldn't have contemplated walking a mile, let alone 13. It's amazing what a little inspiration and pixie dust can do to you. Can't wait! Hope we get a great rate at the Dolphin. If not, I'll bump down but I'm hoping that we can swing it.

And you know what??? I ordered my T-shirt in a MEDIUM!!!!! No more XL's for me!!!!! I will be soooo THRILLED to put that puppy on!!!

Can't wait to meet all you WISHERs- and what's even better my dh's 38th birthday will fall on the 6th- we've never been to Disney on a birthday- can't wait to plan it all!!!

But we have 5-6 in our party- I wonder if SWAN has rooms big enough? We prefer not to do two separate rooms. ??
