I guess I could say that I'm in. I had to order a new debit/credit card so I overnighted a check to them today. I'm hoping to recieve my post card soon. I'm very exicited

Kamy, I think it means if you want the discount you can't register on line. DH and I are DVC members, and we both registered online this morning.

My count makes the two of us up to 15 WISHWalkers and 3 tagalongs (sorry couldn't think of a politically correct way to say it )

I would say the tagalongs are "Cheerleaders" that's what I am calling my DH anyway. We need all the cheerleaders we can get too.

I would also suggest that you check the email you provided. I received an automatic email confirmation with the registration. You may have to change that part on your registration if you want the email info--whatever it may be.

I am a DVC member but I didn't want to wait, so I just registered. I doubt we'll be using our points on the trip - we're going to get a room with you guys instead.

Ok...count me in, too...maybe we'll switch our Nov family trip and make this a family January 2005 event. I don't think we can do the whole family thing for both times. My first thought was that it would just be me and my sis (who will also be walking the half) but now I wonder if we should all go and maybe the kids can participate in some of the other stuff....Anyone else making it a family event?

I DID IT TOO!!!! Registered online, because I got the message--so I miss out on the DVC discount--at least I'm in. I am so nervous, but excited. We're going to do this!! It will also be the first solo trip for me, as DH and DD won't be joining me until Wed night after the marathon. BTW, I'm in the half-marathon.

ME TOO! ME TOO!!

I was able to register this morning but couldn't post my excitement on the DIS! WOO HOOO!!! The training shall begin! Since my sister and I are officially registered, I can add the WISH*CON clippie and countdown!

Just a question though - what is a ChampionChip and what do you do with it?

I'm In. I am just too excited!

On Thanksgiving I walked in the Atlanta Half-Marathon(My 1st). In fact I received my card in the mail today. I wasn't the last to finish but out of 6,471 I came in at 6,246, which means only 225 finished after I did.

According to the time my pace was 14:08.2 so I will need to improve on that.

Anyway I finished and I am ready to improve and get ready for the Atlanta Peachtree Road 6.2 miles which will help me get ready for the Half-Marathon at Disney.

edit: Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta is held on the 4th of July.

At the Atlanta Half-Marathon we tied a chip to our shoe so that they could register our offical time. We had to give it back at the end of the race. Maybe the champion chip is similar to that.

I am not sure, ADisneyMom, because there was a little blurb about WDW being pleased to offer ChampionChips for the 2004 marathon; those already owning a ChampionChip would be allowed to use it at and around WDW.

I am confused! Maybe one of the participants in this marathon will know about it!

Whoo-hoo as part of my training I'm going to participate in a a few road races here in Maine this year. They are shorter, but they will help me to get into the groove.

I'm registered! I received the DVC/CM Registration form in my e-mail today, but since the savings is nominal ($5) and the form has to be mailed in, I went ahead and registered online.

I am so nervous... my goal is 100 pounds, and hopefully this will motivate me to stay on track this year. I really think I can do this!
