I think this is my first post on this thread since season 2 started, so I have to catch up with what's been said on here lately. Just wanted to share a few thoughts (and fair warning, those thoughts may involve spoilers from the 11/5 episode for anyone that hasn't seen it yet) --
Greetings oh great leader of the thread!
Overall, season 2 is living up to season 1's quality. After tonight's episode, if things keep shaping up it may surpass it. I think I read once that Tim Kring wasn't a big comic book fan, but I wouldn't have guessed it. Of course, Jeph Loeb, one of the co-exec producers, is a comic book writer, so his influence is definitely there.
I was soooooo glad to see Peter survived! My guess is Claire's abilities he absorbed helped with his recovery. I'm going out on a limb and guess that Matt's dad caused Peter's amnesia. I just hope he's able to get back to Caitlin.
No, not Matts dad. Notice a certain necklace that Peter has been wearing? It will be answered next week.
The Company -- I keep going back and forth on them. Okay, so last year Linderman was rogue? I was under the impression he was in charge and calling the shots while Nakamura Sr. was the rebel.
Bob said Linderman was under Adam, his flunky as was Maury. Now, I don't think they're evil, but I'm not convinced they're completely good either. Definitely a lot of shades of grey involving The Company.
Yeah, cause I am still guessing on Bob. Still not sure about him and if the one power we have seen is his only one. A bit shifty, but aren't all of the 12?
Claire/HRG -- Nice try, Noah, establishing a "secret identity" in the midst of suburbia. Unfortunately, I think it would be difficult for a secret identity to be maintained in today's information age. Also, Claire's mom mentioned West's name. I wonder if Noah will recognize it. "West" as a first name isn't common, and if he connects that with the news report of a flying man (assuming he knows what West can do) he's bound to know who he is.
But so many lives he has touched and tagged and his toughts are to get a move out of there now!
Kensei/Adam --

In a way I had a feeling we'd be seeing him again. Seeing that he was one of the original 12 and still alive and kicking after almost 340 years, though .. I wasn't expecting that. (quick thought: if his abilities are like Claire's, does this mean that she's potentially immortal also?)

Still, that's what I love about this show -- how all these plotlines that seem to go in several direction actually end up coming together. Now, I just wonder how they will fit in ....
Maya and Alejandro -- Yeah, they're on their way to New York with Sylar to find Suresh, but how will they eventually fit into the main plot?
Sylar wants both there poswers, but who know how long they will live? Or at least Alejandro Will Adam find a way to make Maya's power make the plague even worse?
No cause Bob started the Plauge by mutating Shati's virus (my speculation)
One more thought and I'm done. I wonder if Adam's name is some clue that he was the first to gain superpowers. If so, and if having powers is genetic, does that mean that all that have powers are somehow descended from him?
