Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

You won't believe what I did!?!?!?! For some strange reason I thought Heroes was on at 10pm this year so DD and I played the Wii until 9:55!!!!!!!!! I missed the whole thing! I have been looking forward to this since the finale last season. Luckily its being aired Saturday night at 8. My parents will be here visiting but I set up the DVR for that episode and any future episodes so this doesn't happen again.

Oh my gosh I HATE when I do that!! It happens a lot less since I've gotten the DVR, but sometimes I forget to set it, or it's full and I still miss stuff. My cable company recently updated their software and it messed up some of my settings, and I lost a bunch of other shows' episodes that I hadn't caught up on yet and of course I missed them in reruns. Glad it didn't happen with Heroes though - of course I don't get behind in watching this one! Good thing for you they are rerunning it on Saturday.

I fell asleep with about 20 minutes to go even though my DS was yelling at me to stay awake. I'm so glad that I have a DVR this year so I can watch the end tonight.

IF I got it right, he said the Peterilli's (2), Linderman (1), himself (1), & Deveroux. That's 5. I though the group was 9 company of 9, but I may have missed it.

On that line, Claude worked for the company, he wasn't a leader!

I thought he was listing off the ones that have been killed, and said that leaves 9 remaining. I remember counting them up and thinking to myself, "Oh so they started with 13" because it reminded me of a coven.

Darn I wish I hadn't erased it off the DVR, but I don't usually re-watch things. Maybe someone who still has it can watch that part again and let us know what he said?

He did list the one's that died and said that it leaves 9. I watched it last night from when Maya was taken into the front of the truck. I thought that 13 would have been an appropriate number at which they'd begin from so many levels.

I thought it was 12 origionally, and 9 were left (before Hiro's dad got thrown off the roof)- the 3 who are already gone are Deveaux, Linderman, and Mr Petrelli (Nathan and Peter's dad). That would leave 9 (well, now 8, if Kenzai is really dead).

Claire... no accidental injuries this time, but left the car unlocked and it was stolen. Then tells her dad that she'll be more careful if he buys her a new one. She is starting to get on my nerves. No teenager is that stupid or unlucky. I miss her friend from last yr, what was his name?
I swear I can't help but wonder if it turns out that this new friend of hers is her brother. He does have Nathan's ability to fly.

Oh shoot, now I forget the cops name LOL.... so are just suppose to forget that last we knew his wife was PG? I hope they fill in on what happened during the missing 4 months

Matt....we learned last week that he and his wife are divorced. There was no mention of her pregnancy. (she would still be pregnant, so no child yet)

my dvr cut off too. thankfully I record Journeyman so I saw it.

I knew they mentioned the divorce. I wonder if we'll eventually find out his old partner (co-worker?) was the dad. She was showing a good bit at the end of the 1st season, and didn't they say that the first episode of this season is 4 months later. If she hasn't had it yet, then it should be any time now.

Really skinny? That man is buff! He was on the cover of one of my DH's fitness magazines. When I saw him I hoped he would be taking his shirt off this season and last night... BAM! I like the short hair, too. It's much better than hanging in his face.

When Hiro took the role of Kensei, my 2 kids and I yelled at the same time, "I knew it!" So does the real Kensei have the ability to heal or does Hiro now have the ability to heal others?

As far as Mrs. P's attack - it was obviously someone invisible. Maybe Claude? I was thinking Sylar at first (did he get Claude's invisibility? I can't remember) but then I remembered how Hiro's dad was surprised to see who his hooded killer was, and he would not have been surprised if it were Sylar. It seems to be one of the "first generation" heroes. Maybe it's one we haven't met yet, or someone we have presumed to be dead? Just throwing some ideas around.

I think with Peter's shorter hair and thinner/harder body, he looks a lot less innocent this season. Once his memory returns, it'll be interesting to see which direction he takes it.

Wow! Good episode last night. I only have 2 things to add:

1) I am already irritated by the Maya/Alejandro twins. I wish Maya would stop crying all the time. It seems like her power is killing, via the black eye goo?? And her brother can take the black killing eye goo away?? I guess they also need to be physically close to each other to neutralize her lethal force?? I'm not too interested so far...

2) I NEVER want to see any more toe snipping, OK??? Ew, ew, ew!!! I just hope Claire found and picked up her stray pinkie toe before Mr. Muggles decides to have it as a snack.

ROFLMAF.... I had the same thought.

I wonder if Claire's mom is still suffering from some of the effects of having her memory erased several times, or if the actress just thinks she has to do her mouth that weird way to do a Texas accent. that is unless she's sufferend a stroke or something. There is just something weird about her mouth and she didn't used to do that. She was on something I watched yrs ago.
