OK, let's go back to when Mr. Bennett was confronting the Hatian(does he have a name?). He wanted to know why he disobeyed his order about erasing Claire's memory. The Hatian replied "I answer to someone who's instructions supercede yours." Bennett exclaims, 'In this company?" Hatian responds, "In your daughters life."

Could Mama Petrelli have as much influence as Linderman? We know her husband was his lawyer. What is her realtionship with him?

More interesting is how did she meet the Haitian and get him to "work" for her?

7. I think that he has touched almost everyone he got powers from or they touched him. The only one I'm not totally sure about is Future Hiro.
a. He and Nathan hug, touch.
b. Claire touches him, he pushes her.
c. He and Issac touch the first meeting, I think one grabs the others shoulder.
d. He an Sylar do when they fall.
e. Claude has him pinned up against something when they first meet.
f. I don't think he and Matt touched though Matt put the asprin bottle in front of him....

IMHO, I don't think touch is required for Peter to absorb powers, just proximity.

However, don't forget that Peter needs to think about the person/power in order to use it. If he doesn't know that he can bend space/time (Hero) or Erase Memories or Block abilities (The Hatian [weren't they in the hospital together???]) then how can he use those powers if he doesn't know he has them?

Second -- I know I mentioned this before and haven't seen anything anywhere confirming anything one way or another, but I still think that this could be a cool aspect for Peter's abilities -- Peter can only use one power at a time and the injury doesn't have a chance to heal properly because he's having to use other abilities either to escape from or fight Sylar.

I think this is more likely. Or perhaps Peter needs more time to master the use of multiple powers. Sounds like he needs more training from Claude!

And then for her not to be suprised that Claire was alive was odd. To me it seemed like she had to have known all along that she survived the fire.

When Claire showed up at Mrs. Petrelli's apartment, Mrs. Petrelli did know that Claire was alive. Nathan told Momma Petrelli after Meredith contacted him with the news of Claire's revival. Mrs. Petrelli was the one to suggest that he just pay them(Meredith and Claire) off because they may hurt his political ambitions.

Candice, shapeshifter or illusionist: In the recap on nbc.com, frame 8 for the most recent episode, she's identified as a shapeshifter. In Xcited4Disney's post above with the quote from creator Tim Kring (out of curiosity, where is that from?), he calls her a "master of illusion." I'm inclined to go with what TK says directly. The recap may have been written by someone not in the loop and just going with what they saw on the episode.

Only thing about a power like Claire's is that it seems like the kind that is always "on". The user doesn't have to concentrate to make the power work. Claire gets shot, she doesn't have to think "regenerate and heal"; her power is going to kick in automatically. Dale's hearing and Charlie's memory are like this also.

By contrast, there are powers that the user has to, in essence, "turn on" -- that is, they have to concentrate to make it work. Examples of this include Nathan and flight, Hiro and time control, and DL and phasing.

Let's assume Peter can only use one power at a time. If he's injured but has to use other abilities -- fly to escape from Sylar or telekinesis to fight Sylar -- will "turning on" other abilities end up turning off something like regeneration that's always on?

Yeah, I know I've talked about the "one power at a time" thing a bit. In the Legion of Super-Heroes comic book by DC Comics, there's a character called Ultra Boy. He has all of Superman's abilities but with the one-at-a-time limitation. It's a little-used limitation but one I've always found interesting.

Interesting. I'm hoping we will find out more about Peter's abilities when we return from hiatus. Certainly the fight with Sylar will give us a better understanding of Peter's abilities and limitations.

Peter is going to get a much more severe image makeover than Isaac. I'm told that producers have had problems with continuity, so they asked Milo Ventimiglia to cut his hair. He agreed to shave his head—but requested a scar. And he will get one. Source: Kristin on E!Online

I really like this show. But I've really HATE how networks have taken to breaking shows up into 6 week segments 4, 6, 8, whatever. Now we have to wait another 6 weeks while they show garbage.

I'm really thankful for Tivo. Some shows I'll save several episodes of and then watch all in 1 night.

He does not have a "real" name....he is just known in the script as HRG.

Right. They referred to him as HRG in the first couple scripts. Before his character was more developed.

I just listened to a Heroes podcast where they interviewed the actor who plays Bennet. He said that Bennet doesn't have a first name as yet, but he said he wanted his first name to be Anthony....that way he could be Tony Bennet!
