Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

Okay gang. I just watched next weeks preview again and it never says that anyone will be "killed" in next weeks episode. It says that "a hero will be lost". This could be literally or figuratively. Maybe that means a hero will lose their power???

Hmm, that changes things. "Lost" could be different things.

Perhaps someone loses their powers. That could make for an interesting story -- after discovering, accepting, and mastering their abilities, they somehow lose them -- but to me it's too early for something like that.

Perhaps someone disappears, similar to Hiro being lost in his time jump attempt to save Charlie, or maybe someone (the mysterious Linderman) captures one of them.

Or ... one of the heroes turns into a villain.

Niki? In a way she seems too obvious but you never know. She's riding that line as it is. Maybe Jessica completely overwhelms Niki's persona and Niki is "lost."

Okay, this preview supports my earlier theory that the Mushroom cloud over the city is caused by Ted exploding, not a bomb.

Geeking out here in a perfectly normal way!!! That was a good show. It didn't tell us much, gave us more questions and a very few answers.
The only thing I am not totally clear about is if Jessica was Niki's twin sister or just her sister?

I have links to a few other sites I have been on, reading, gasping and smacking my head over & reeling in shock over what they say...but am I allowed to post them here? Not sure if that was ok, so want to wait on official ok from those of you that may know. I saw the one above, but not sure how to post like that just the whole www. thing.

How much to give away? Most is speculation, but I do have lots of questions. Sylar saw "Brian" as broken. So he fixed him with head trama. But how did he get his power? And to use it so much smoother than Brian.

Is Sylar taking his victims in a certain order, or just as he gets there? I am figureing he is using his map from his apartment, but where is all that stuff now? And how is he still finding them without Chandra's list? doing his own research?

And with the pix Mohinder took from his apartment... have we seen anything more with those?

Sigh... If you didn't watch the global preview, this may spoil stuff for you...

in the global preview on youtube, and above, you see all the Heros in what looks to be NY, except Nathan. Hmmm.. and Sylar had Eden... the Haitian talked... DL has Micah in his arms and is pulling Niki behind him. Figured it had to be Niki.. Jessica wouldn't let herself be pulled anywhere by DL. Matt has blood dripping from his nose and Claire is back in that cheerleader uniform again. Wonder if Matt is like Charlie, with a genetic abnormality like her anyurism...

Let me know if you want more. A Hero will die, it just doesn't let you know who! ACK!! I know who not, but that is all!

As far as spoilers are concerned, maybe we should come up with a second Heroes Spoiler post like the one for Lost Spoilers. Just so we don't ruin it for those who want to remain spoiler-free.

I read an interview (I think on tvguide.com) that said one of the heroes will die. He also said that more of them were supposed to die starting at the beginning of the series, but it ended up the characters were too compelling to kill.

I thought it was when Claire crashed the car. Wasn't that guy the star football player and everyone was mad at her for nearly killing him right before the big game?

I thought they had been snippy at each other before that. I'll have to try and watch the early episodes again.

Same here. I probably gave away more than you did. And I didn't even post any links to anything else! Keep coming up with stuff.

Cause, of course, I still have another question/thought. Did Charlie die from an anyurism or did Sylar get her? Did Hiro take a plane from Japan and then a bus to Midland? If so, what about passport, ect?

And yes, even 6 months ago Jackie was all pushy princess and claire was having a bit of problem with it. They were still friends, but Jackie was all like "if you don't want it, there are others <name, name> who would love to be a cheerleader"

Someone mentioned on another thread that Sylers watch was working in the burnt toast cafe, still had the cracked face. did anyone see if it was?
