When I watched this weeks episode, I could not hear what Matt's wife was saying when he heard her thoughts. I take it from what I just read on here that she is having an affair with his co-worker? Is that the one that he punched on the episode?

i didn't hear what she said either(thanks to DF talking thru that part, THEN asking me what she said....and then got mad at me because i didn't know..... :confused3 lol)

but yeah, she's having an affair with one of his co-workers...i believe it used to be his partner.

I watched the first episode and although I loved the storyline I just can't deal with the Gross factor. I guess I'll just have to do without. :confused3

Must be referring to Claire -- must admit some of the stuff she does is a bit gross .. imagine how this viewer will feel after the show when she is almost raped

There are several gross scenes.

Yes, the claire stuff and then when Matt found that little girl, the way her mom was hung up. And the cutting out of brains and stuff. It's just a little unsettling.

Sorry if you are too grossed out but I doubt I'm the only one who has found the superhero and comic movies way too tame. The source material and genre is violent and it makes no sense when Wolverine, for example, slashes into a guy and there is no blood.

Oh I forgot about that scene! Yes that was very wierd! and I must admit i watched it thru clutched fingees :lmao:

Matt's wife said something to the effect of"oh no, I think he knows" &"but I thought I'd been so careful" then he gets to work, hangs out with clea duvall all day yada yada yada and he's changing with his ex partner when the guy thinks " loser, I'm doing your wife and she is fine"

I know what you mean about getting somebody to watch it so you can talk about it. I've suckered my mom and my brother into watching it just so I wouldn't be the only one!

Yes, it is "gross" but it isn't to the point where you wonder what the point is for it. Really, how else would one understand the extent of Claire's abilities if you didn't see the damage she could take? She can heal herself but due to those scenes you can tell just HOW well she can do it.

I also goes with Syler... he is an evil and powerful person in his killings. A bit of shock and gore is needed to get the point across at just how brutal these killings were.

i really liked this episode and i kept thinking "what's so different"......no Nathan......and no Nikki. i guess i don't like them as much as the other "heroes".

so cute that Hiro was with that one girl at the diner. i KNEW he was gonna go back and save her. had to see that coming.

i'm still getting used to the names, so forgive me if i can't get them all right btw.

the scenes with.....the Indian guy......were actually boring to me today. does he have a "power" now too? he can see things?

seems like everyone and their brother(no pun intended) have powers now.

poor Issac. i felt bad for him.

and i don't get the Rimed Glasses guy. why doesn't he just stop Claire from going to the homecoming?? is he in on it? or does he know he can't stop it? i'm so lost lol.

Love Hiro!! They could forget all the other heroes and just have a show about him.

Great episode tonight! Can't wait for next week to see if they will "save the cheerleader" and "save the world" popcorn::

WOW! Next weeks show looks so good. But, I will be at WDW. Can someone give me the link to be able to watch the show later? Do you just watch or do you have to download? If you have to download, is the internet connection at WDW good enough?(I have dialup at home, it is pathetic)

Wow, I loved last night's episode!!!

Syler seems to be on the hunt again (I am guessing that that is who the hooded man with the nice watch is lol) and tearing open heads. Feel bad for the poor girl and really kinda hope Hiro can step in and save her. Being able to remember everything you read would be great for me as a college student, let me tell you.

I do not think Mohinder is the one with the powers but it is the young boy who is in his dreams using HIS power to effect Mohinder. Remember the file that was pulled out of the desk at the end? Had headlines about dreaming and a picture of the boy? I really think he is an important case that his father had, so important that it had to be hidden, and now the boy is trying to point Mohinder in the right direction?

And now the escape of "radioactive man" (can NOT remember his name for the life of me... Tom? Tim?)... will he head to New York?

And what the heck is up with Eden? One moment she isn't a good guy, the next she is standing up for Issac to Bennett... even she seems scared of Bennett, but part of me wants to think he's not the bad guy. Every time one of the heroes disappears with him and loses they two days, it seems their powers GROW... and then he lets them go.

Hopefully some of the answers are too come!

Perhaps Mr Bennett isn't a bad guy afterall.

That is what I am thinking last's nights epeisode was all about. To let us know he really is a nice guy. I mean, if he were so evil when it comes to these people with powers, why wouldn't he have killed Claire as a baby? Instead, he adopted her and raised her as his own.

I think he is involved with this "project" somehow, but his intentions are not evil.

But when Bennett was trying to convince Isaac to take the drugs so he could help Claire he said some of the others (with powers) didn't cooperate with him. He said Claire's parents didn't understand that he was trying to help them and it ended with their death. Sounds to me like he killed them. Or did I totally misinterpret that whole conversation?

I'm probably making this much more complicated than it has to be. I'm watching Heroes through "LOST goggles" and have no trust in anything that is happening on this show. LOST has ruined me.

I don't think he said didn't cooperate. He said something like they misunderstand what they are doing, or something like that, it can get out of control and things can happen. Yes, we are to believe that Claire's parents were killed, but I think back to how they wanted Nathan to go with them. He was confused and didn't know why, so he ran (or flew) away. If you have someone else with stronger powers, say like Nikki, what if they lashed out, they may have been killed in self defense. That is how I see it.
