Just got back from a Fourth of July stay at the Grand Floridian! All three times we've stayed at the GF, it's been over Independence Day. I love the new room refurbishment - it feels so upscale and posh.

Our main complaint is that there are no shelves in the bathroom for storage. They should really slide some shelves under the sink.

Very nice! Is that building the main building (looking out from the balcony?)...where is Gaspy's?

Thanks! I was rather bummed to see that they had removed the Mickey lamp, too! There are still many hidden Mickeys in the room, though. The little dots on the sheer curtain are actually little Mickey heads.

Very nice! Is that building the main building (looking out from the balcony?)...where is Gaspy's?

That is the main building (center), and the octagonal part is the entry beside the Grand Floridian Cafe. Gasparilla's Grill is further to the right (directly across from the marina), blocked in this photo by the Conch Key building (right).

My, what a lovely young lady your daughter is. She sure has grown up, Jen!
An the GF looks pretty nice too...

She sure has....and has an attitude now too. Not so easy to get her to dress in costumes or smile for pictures! Oh and she likes the straggly hair look these days too.
