Official Glass Slipper Challenge Thread

Having already registered in early-registration my advice to those registering today is this: don't look at the numbers; just click "Submit" and hand over your entire net worth. :):rotfl:

Good luck to all!

AHHHHHHhhhh the suspense is driving me crazy!! I'm so giddy inside :yay: I booked today off work so I could sit at my computer waiting for registration to open but this morning is going by so slowly!!!! How are we supposed to wait patiently for another 52minutes!?

Hopefully everyone gets in and gets registered with no issues!! :goodvibes

GOOD LUCK to everyone registering today! I promise it will be worth the $ and ore-registration stress!

I got it too!! Couldn't get the runDisney "register" button to work for me?:confused3 but the active link did work, thank goodness!
I think I will go out for a celebration run now! :woohoo:

I wanted to thank everyone for the great advice! I was totally read to go because of all of you! I had registered with Active, knew what Princess I wanted, etc.

I think I've lost my mind because I'm doing the Tink and the Glass Slipper! I've never run back-to-back races, and because I've only ever run one half (the Princess this year), I've certainly never run two halves within a month of each other. I just closed my eyes and hit "register." Now the training begins!

Woo Hoo! I got it!!! :cool1:

Good luck everyone!

I'm in!! Yipeee!:cool1:

Dancing Rodents (Conga Rats :)) to all!

My first half will be in Oct and my first full in Jan at WDW. But I just had to sign up for the GSC. I must be out of my mind--in a good way! :goodvibes

Got my room booked at POFQ. More expensive than the reservation in Jan for the marathon, but not *that* bad...;)

Same scenario as you. I hope you haven't fallen off the training wagon like I did. I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Oh well, here goes!

Anyone else notice that even though previous posters had asked runDisney about Race Retreat for 10k and were told the Retreat was only going to be for half, there is Race Retreat registration available for 10k and GSC?? Site only shows Sunday hours. Sheesh Disney! I wish they would get their act together on this.

I was debating on Race Retreat for my niece and myself as a treat for her during the half. Now I see both days and to compound it, my DS and his GF are registered for the 10k. It is $240 for just niece and I for Sunday only but $510 for both days when I include DS and his GF

Don't feel right doing both days and not including DS and his GF, but that is WAY too much money. I think I may just go with Sunday on this one, if I decide on it at all. Sigh, so many Disney perks and too little money to spend on them.

When I called rd told me the GSC race retreat was a breakfast only on Sat and full retreat Sunday. I know there continues to be conflicting reports. Doubt anyone at rd really knows.

I'm in.... This past weekend I was justifying why I MUST NOT do this- but woke up this morning and decided to do it anyway!!!!
