**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

For the special Frozen pin : is it just a generic A&E pin or does it refer to the event? Can't see too well on the picture.
Thanks

Hopefully someone who has been will answer your question. I've only seen the picture I posted.

So the new earlier "second" seating gets to be in the reserved area for the lighting (which is what a great deal of people wanted/expected in the first place)? That's messed up.

They should be able to switch times by calling the same number they used to book their reservation (as long as there is still availability). Looks like the second seating is only available Dec 25 to Jan 1.

Just curious since the Sing A long has been running a few months now with FP I was wondering what people suggested doing. I did the show several times this summer with the return tickets and wish that they had kept them. How easy or uneasy is it now to get in without a FP?

The return tickets were so much nicer!!

Most of September and October it has been very easy to get in on standby.

Not sure how the package and holidays will change the dynamics. But I would suggest a FP+ the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

Packages started selling out after No Premium Event announced for MVMCP. The dates leading up to Christmas are now sold out too. If not all, most. Hopefully, they will add additional seating prior to 12/25. I was looking forward to seeing lights come on while in reserved area. Time will tell.

FP+- My thoughts too.

So I have pics of the desert table, layout, etc but I dont know how to post them. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You need a photo host like photobucket then you post the link.

It looks like I could change around all my ADRs and FPs to accommodate this switch :( but do I really want to have dinner after eating all that dessert?

:confused3

Giving up and cancelling today for next Tuesday. I finally got a good look at the pin and lithograph on Ebay - nothing special IMHO. I'm not interested in alcohol, and would only eat one or two small desserts; already have a FP+ for sing-along, so not worth $89 to me. Now I think I may do the 6:30 F! and see the light s afterwards. Any opinions about if the lights will be more crowded at 6 or at 7:30?

You can stroll the lights up to an hour after the park closes. That's when it is the least crowded. 6:00 is shoulder-to-shoulder crowded and should be avoided unless you actually want to be there when the switch is flipped and the Streets light up all at once.

Can someone please direct me to a site that lists all of the "Frozen" activities going on in December at DHS? I have read through this thread and I am little confused as to what is there now and was has been discontinued as of Sept. Thanks so much! :goodvibes

The pics arent loading, but I have links. Here are some pictures of the drink menus, table layout, and desert table(s). The bar tenders were generous in their pours so some of these may be a bit shaky :)

So would you say its worth the expense?? There are 4 of us, 2 adults 2 kids. I keep thinking I will cancel it and then I see pictures and think it looks so cool and my kids would go nuts over the dessert.

to me, it's really borderline on the expense. We had 2 adults 2 kids and infant. The biggest hit for the kids was the open ice cream cart. Having a place to sit down, not crowded, and enjoy the lights is really nice. That's very subjective value. Don't do it for value of deserts eaten and drinks consumed and a mediocre pin. If you do it, you need to value about $50 a person on the general experience. We liked it and would do another VIP party again.

Did they at least have bottles of water and sodas?

Thanks for sharing your pictures and your experience.

For some reason, I wasn't able to open them on my phone. I just got a swirling circle.

Saw on MDE that Comedy Warehouse Holiday Special will be Dec 20 to Jan 3 in the Streets of America. Not sure what the location means. In the past, it was in the Premiere Theater. Possibly at Sounds Dangerous?

They have full drink carts with all the water and soda you want. We took a bunch of water with us.

For what I am paying for this you better believe I am bringing a bag with me! Desserts don't really look that appealing and we won't be partaking of the alcohol! But Mickey bars ans ice cream sandwiches and a place to sit out of the crowds sounds good. We will be attending the party on 12/16. Thanks so much for all the info!

Am I correct in understanding that so far nothing has been released as to whether or not the Frozen package will be offered in June 2015? I briefly scanned back, pre-planning for ADR'a between chauffeuring kids.

Correct.

Star Wars Weekends will start in May and go through mid-June like it always does (probably... hopefully. ;) ) and they haven't even officially announced it yet but we've already hit the 180 day mark for it for ADRs.

The singalong should still be there in June. Though the snow at this point is only official through the holidays.

Hopefully, we'll soon find out SWW dates. Last year the official announcement was in December.
