**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Once the first party goers report back, that should make it more clear. Though I'm sure there will be some tweaking along the way as there was to make the fsf package improved.

Thanks for all of your updates. :thumbsup2

I'm interested to know about the 1st few nights too. Especially with the Osborne Lights (time) and those with Frozen package that still go to F!

Sorry if this has been asked but how long is a typical wait to get in the snow ground say on a high moderate day

To be clear, the package show and the sing along are two different things?

The package sing-along show is THE sing-along show offered to all guests. The difference with the package is a special viewing area inside the theater and special queue outside the theater.

Ok so I can still see it at another time of day without a package.

Just so you're clear, there is NO package-only show for the singalong. There will be reserved seats at each singalong show each day for the guests who bought the package. But regular (non-package) guests can see any singalong show each day, there are no limits.

Word. I got the impression somewhere that it was package or FP only, no standby. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Any news on how ticket sales are going for the Frozen Holiday Premium Package? Rumors still circulating about a Special Event @ MK during MVMCP like the Soiree during MNSSHP? TIA!

I am sure due to the fact that disney named this a "Frozen" event, the sales are good--- however, just checking our dates----- 11/27-12/6--- almost every date was available

Just wanted to report back on our experience. We were at studios on Friday 10/4. Because half of our party used cast member admission to get into the park, they couldn't book fp+ in advance. We arrived at the park at 10am and went straight to the fp+ booking behind the hat. My main priority was a fp for the sing along. I didn't know if we would need them, but figured better safe than sorry. Fp+ were available for our party of 7 for the 11:05-11:20 return time. I was so relieved!

From the fp booking we headed to Wandering Oaken's. We went to the play place first. I thought the "real" snow was so cool!!! My kids loved the whole thing. Olaf cupcakes were adorable and delicious! We didn't download the app; I'm interested in what that offers.

After playing for a bit and of course making some purchases, we headed to the theatre. We arrived at 11:15. We got in the fp line which extended out through the entrance of the queue. We noticed another line that had maybe 10 people in it that was moving much faster. We realized after a bit it was the standby line. All of the standby line had entered the theatre before we even reached the entrance. By the time we reached the machine where you scan your band or card, there was no one waiting in standby. The fp line moved slowly and when it was our turn 2 of our cards didn't work. The cm messed with them for a minute then said go ahead. It didn't matter since standby had already entered the theatre. It was frustrating to see that fp actually slowed us down.

When we got into the theatre, the center section was full and the bleachers were partially filled. There were sporadic sections of seats in the side sections. We sat in a side section and were fine with the view.

We all enjoyed the show. I was surprised by how small a part Elsa played. My impression was that Ana and Elsa would be singing along with all the songs, not just one at the end. I thought it was really cute to just watch all the kids and parents singing together. Like my family, these families have clearly watched this movie over and over! I loved the male historian. His corny jokes cracked me up.

Overall, we had a good experience. I would definitely recommend the show, even to those who don't know/love Frozen. My husband hasn't actually watched the movie. When we were leaving the theatre he was asking the kids about how Olaf saves Elsa and he was completely confused. I did think it was a little confusing how they did the joke ending before telling what really happened.

Long story short, the show is definitely worth seeing, arrive about 15 minutes in advance and just use standby. Arrive further in advance if you feel strongly about sitting in the front/center section. I'm glad to hear this show isn't going anywhere, I think it's a very nice addition to Studios.

We would definitely skip fp next time and save it for another attraction.

Thank you for the report! We've been debating on keeping FP for show or even upgrading to the Frozen Premium Package (which I feel is outrageously priced) so this helps ease my mind tremendously! :)

There have been changes both Oaken's and the sing-along. I'll need to update the first post once I get home.

Thanks for all of your updates! :thumbsup2

Also, I've called over the last week to check on the Osborne Lights & Frozen Holiday Package. Dining CMs insist if you enter @ 6pm you can see the Osborne lighting for the night. Any inside info? Or will we have to wait until 1st night, November 7th.

Last, is it too much trouble to change Main title to include Frozen Holiday Package? Too mnay random threads about this, since this one is not always on 1st page. This thread has the most & best info. And it's current.

Thanks again for keeping this thread going! :cool1:

Hey everyone, I updated the first post tonight. There were a few changes this Monday compared to last Monday. Just a little tweaking, nothing major.

It was busier and there were lines outside of Oaken's for the Snowground. Last Monday was empty and it was just walk in, and we could walk in any door.

Today there was a door specifically to enter the trading post. There was another door specifically to enter the Snowground. We could not enter the Snowground from the trading post. We entered the Snowground from the door where you use to enter AFI after getting off the trams for the Backlot Tour. The exit from the Snowground was into the Trading Post.

There were a couple changes at the sing-along too. A cm went through much of the FP+ line before show time and scanned magic bands so that people could walk right in. It really speeded up the FP+ entry.

Another change I noticed was at the Sing-along. When a family was seated in the first row just before show time, the cm asked the family to please put children in front of children and adults in front of adults.

Thanks for all of your updates! :thumbsup2

Thank you! I haven't heard anything additional about the package, sorry. If I do, I'll post.

I changed the title.

You're welcome.

Not sure if this has been covered but does Oaken take DDP snack credits?

Yes. While it's not the easiest to see, check out the menu in the first post. There are little purple squares beside the prices of the items on the plan.
