**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Same here. I must have read it 3 times thinking I've missed something. DW read it too - and she also could not believe it was $89 for stuff we can see for free, plus dessert plus a 1 pin and 1 lithograph per family.

I even called Disney to find out if there was more. For $89 it's a total rip off. We were looking forward to a Frozen Party for December and were willing to pay Disney if it had substance - but this package is a joke.

I now feel Disney really wants to take your money and providing something of very little value in return - We love Disney, but this made us very upset.

I'm still holding out hope for a Frozen add-on party at MVMCP, that I would do. This package at DHS is ridiculously overpriced. And that's coming from someone who did both the Star Wars and Summer Fun premium package.

So if you do the holiday frozen package, do you still need a fastpass plus for the show??

No, you do not need a FP+ if you have the package.

No, you do not need a FP+ if you have the package.

However, you CAN get a FP if you want one--- for just $25, you can get a paper FP, with a picture of Olaf on it---

Just go to any one of the new Chase/FP kiosks to pick up yours !!!

What is the Chase/FP kiosk? I've never heard of this before. :)

These days you never know...Chase sponsored kiosks...that's not a "thing"?

LOL!! :lmao:

I should have mentioned that its a Limited Edition FP--- (paper FPs are a thing of the past, ya know?? )

And with Olaf on it !!!???

(doesnt guarantee you a seat at the "Sing-Along"--- but you can hum the lyrics all day long if you want !!! :)

I'll have to schedule a return visit before they are gone, LOL! :rotfl:

You can't beat this for $89!! Throw in a cupcake and a beer!!!

Question for everyone who did the summer package:

I just paid for the holiday package ( I couldnt go in the summer and this is a once in a life time over the top trip so why not) and I am wondering how this will work with fantsamic. There is only one 6:30pm fantasmic showing that night and I have FP+ for it. Will not being at the part right at 7pm be a total waste of my money? I see it says we can come and go as we please through out the party .... (I still have my FP+ for the sing-along just in case I cancel the party)

Fantasmic is a must see this party is just a nice to have...soooo long story short if you were planning doing the party and fantsamic is it possible?

If I was planning the party, I'd skip Fantasmic. Though the dynamics for this party are quite different. People lined up, up to an hour before the party started to get a good spot to view the fireworks. Not sure if people will do the same for a good view of the lights? Maybe that's why they have people sitting at this one. So they can see over each other's heads?

I also wonder if there will be easy access for package guest to get into the lights. Last 2 years I've gone, there were long lines to get into the streets. And moving was a snail's pace. But I was there on high crowd nights. Maybe package guest will have entry from the road that Pixar place and Oaken's is on? There wouldn't be much walking through people to get to your destination if it's being held where I think it will be.

hmmm good point. Maybe I will wait to see what everyone says after the first couple of days. Lucky for me I am going at the end of November so I have time. I really wanted my DD to see Fantasmic and the party wont be worth it if we have to miss it.

I thought party arrival was at 8:00? Is that inaccurate? I'm confused about the hours.

Check-in for the holiday package may be tricky unless they have someone stationed outside GS. All summer there's been a good size line to get into GS. Now add the package to that line and it increases.

Keep your FP+ for the singalong. If you like the show, you can always see it twice. Each show is a little different.

Interesting. I guess I'll have to call back and check because my MDE has it listed for "arrive at 8 pm."

For the summer package it had an odd start time too. I think it said 10:30, but check in actually started at 10 and people began to line up around 9:30am.

Good to know. It's kind of hard to plan to go to an event if they're not clear about the hours!! :confused3

The desserts themselves start much later than check in. So that's a bit confusing. They start at 7pm or 8:30 depending on the date you chose.

Once the first party goers report back, that should make it more clear. Though I'm sure there will be some tweaking along the way as there was to make the fsf package improved.

It also looks like you can use your credential for the reserved viewing of the singalong if you enter through the FP+ line. So from the way I read it. It looks like you could see the show twice (once with package and once with FP+) and get the reserved seating for both). Also in the know before you go section. Unless I'm misreading it.
