**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

A great time!

We went to the 11:30 show on Tuesday. It was empty. Though that made it that everyone got great seats! But we missed the parade.

IF....they extend this into October, I would love to get a FP for the sing along for my DD. But that's a good point. What time is the parade? We have Toy Story and LM FPs in the morning.

Here is some info from the 1st FAQ post:
Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome:
-11am each day
-They make their way down Hollywood BLVD to the Sorcerer's Hat Stage in a procession with skaters, ice cutters, etc. Then a welcome at the stage.
-The parade begins near the Crossroads "Mickey Tower", continues down Hollywood BLVD, stops at the hat stage for the welcome, then continues on to Star Tours where there is an exit gate.

First post also shows the show times in September are 9:25 (weekdays only), 10:25, 11:30, 12:35, 1:40. 2:45, 3:50, 4:55, 6:00 & 7:05 so possibly these will be the same in October. Just FYI. I got my FP on August 6th for our Friday, September 26 date when they first announced it extended into September and there was never a 9:25a time offered and there is also a 7:40 - 7:55 FP available for an 8:20pm show so the time frames can vary.

If you want to see the parade, IMHO I would stay away for a FP for the 10:25 or 11:30 and if you are wanting to go to Fantasmic and watch the fireworks I would stay away from the 8:10 show as well (and maybe even the 7:05pm show depending on the schedule in October).

Our HS date has hours from 9am-9pm on a Friday with only 1 Fantasmic at 8pm and fireworks at 8:45. I just checked the availability for the sing-a-long for our date and every time frame is still available except the 9:25 and 10:25 shows. Our game plan is a 3:50 show and straight to Lights, Motor Action 4:30 show.

Hope this helps a little! Have a great trip!

This is so helpful. Thanks. So for us, either of the early afternoon shows would work. The night we go the park closes early at 7:30pm with Fantasmic at that time. Hopefully they'll coordinated the fireworks after Fantasmic if they extend the Frozen stuff

Don't want to get my hopes up, but fingers crossed pixiedust:
The wait is killing me.

My hopes were really up. But this morning I'm hearing total different rumors than yesterday. Most supporting that just the sing-along will stay. Which don't get me wrong, that would be fantastic. I love the sing-along. But I'd love for more people to get the change to experience the whole Frozen experience.

The parade is 11am, lasts about 10 minutes. Down by Star Tours it's over by 11:15ish.

Let's just pretend the Singalong is extended into early November... ;)

Would I need a FP for the 1:40 or 2:45 show?

Sorry- I should have been more clear. Would a FP be necessary for either one of these shows? Or would a return ticket or standby suffice?

Thanks!

It's hard to say. If the return ticket system would continue if there was an extension. Then no. But if there are no return tickets then it would be a good idea.

If it gets extended into Nov, would it keep the same schedule? The times changed when it was extended to September.

If the venue gets changed to the ABC Theater, then entry to the theater would be different. Right now at the Premiere Theater, FP+ enters at the front left hand side of the theater. Return tickets enter through the back left door. Standby through the right, back door. At the ABC theater, all guests enter through any of the doors, except w/c and ECV parties enter through the back door.

We will be at DHS on Thursday, Sept 25th. Will we be able to see the parade if we have a fastpass for the 11:30am Sing Along? Our fp window is 11:05 to 11:20am, but I'm not that worried about getting there early. I do want to get there on time, though, since the Sing Along is the most important thing and the parade is secondary. There aren't any Frozen fireworks that night, so I'm not expecting a big crowd that day.

We also have a TSMM from 9:40 to 10:40am. Where is the theater in relation to TSMM? Can we easily leave TSMM, catch the parade and then get to the theater in time?

What happens at the hat and what time does it happen?

Thanks.

It won't be easy, but it is possible. As I posted on Sept 2, we chose to skip the parade because it would have been too difficult for us to get from the parade to the show on time.

Here's how it can possibly be done:
1. Ride TSM in the early return window.
2. Watch the parade on Hollywood Blvd.
3. As soon the procession is over, before A&E take the stage, high tail it over to the Premiere theater.
4. Keep in mind that you won't be able to head towards Star Tours as the parade will not leave that area until 11:15, and it will be roped off. You'll have to either go around the back of the hat and pass ABC Comissary and SciFi, then past muppets, past P&F, turn right and your at the Premiere Theater. Or go back to TSM and walk down to where you'd turn right to Lights Motors Action but turn left instead and you're at the theater.

You are so welcome :goodvibes
Before the Frozen stuff was extended into September, the park hours for our date were 9am-7:30pm. Once they extended the Frozen stuff, they extended the hours to 9am-9pm. Still just one Fantasmic, but moved from 7:30 to 8pm and the fireworks at 8:45pm.

Thanks. I finally found a map with the location of the Premiere Theater marked on it. The best route looks like it would be past the ABC Commissary.

Post 2 has a couple map pictures.

Keep in mind to get behind the hat overt to ABC Comissary during the welcome, you'll have to get over to the path that runs parallel to Hollywood Blvd that runs in front of the Brown Derby.

Looks like they extended the hours I'm going.

Any experience with how difficult it will be to get from F! to a viewing area for the Frozen fireworks where we can see the screen fairly well on 9/25?

is there any way to get reserved seating for the Fireworks for September 19 or 20th? Can't get a Premium pkg as they are all sold out. what is the best solution? I have a wheel chair

I really hope FSF gets extended in its entirety through October or longer. Since I wrote the other day that I heard the first rumor of the parade continuing; I've been getting messages that the floats are going to be used in MVMCP parade. This is something we've been hearing over and over again since July.

Despite the blogs predicting full extensions through the New Year, I am feeling less hopeful.

My fingers and toes are still crossed. If I were to wish upon a star, my wish would be for alternate floats or means to keep the processional going if it can't go as it is. Fireworks to continue at least on weekends and I'd like to see the package continue as well.

I do feel extremely hopeful in the rumors that the sing-along will continue. All signs seem to point in this direction. By the way, I keep checking mde to see if FP+ is available in October. So far, no.

If Sept 28th does in fact end FSF, this week will be my week to bid it farewell as I'm going on vacation up north! Though I'm hoping it's just a see ya real soon instead!!

Yulilin3 and Itinkso would be able to help you. I haven't gone to F! in years.

I don't believe so. Though I have never looked or asked. If it's not raining, we might head over to dhs to watch fireworks. Once we get a spot, I'll ask.

And still a stalker of the thread even when I'm out for Sunday brunch right now ... Yeah kind of a creeper lol A thought I've always had was would they change the name of the event for fall & winter? In that case asking if frozen summer fun will continue may be a no ... Does that even make sense?
I have to say you've certainly been extremely generous and welcoming to every poster on this thread (( very refreshing to know you'll always be so kind to all of us who are clueless : )) Hoping this week is not your last week at the events, and have a fabulous vacation as your travels begin up north next week ... Hope it's a see ya real soon ending : )
Hard to type on this iPhone lol but you deserve such praise for making this incredible thread

9/25 is a Thursday (that's our DHS day too). Did they add more fireworks, or did you mean 9/26? As far as I know the fireworks are only on Fri, Sat, and Sun nights in Sept.

Would like to know this also... We will be there 9/28 and already have a fantasmic dinner package... Is it possible to get a decent place for the fireworks after that??

Lol.

All of the signs inside DHS say "Frozen Fun" not a single sign says "Frozen Summer Fun." So signage certainly doesn't pose a problem. I think the Olaf "sand" sculpture says FSF though.

Thank you!

I'm sure Yullinin3 or Itinkso will be along sometime today.
