Every time I get an update about this thread in my inbox, I keep hoping the subject line will change to, 'EXTENDED THRU DEC' or something like that!

Fingers crossed!!
Me too, lol.
SO if my ressie for the singalong is 10-1015, and I want to head to the parade straight after, can you please suggest to me where we should run to catch it? I would really appreciate it!!
The only place where you might possibly be able to catch it is near the Backlot Express. But you will have to know your way to get there, because you won't have much time. And if the show starts late, it will be really tough. Also a rope goes up in front of Star Tours blocking pedestrian traffic for the parade. So you'll need to get there before the rope goes up. Or watch from behind the rope.
LovethatTink, thank you for this thread.
You're welcome
We did the premium party on August 30. I liked where we saw the parade. Treats were good, and they let us take bottles of water after the parade.
Glad you had a good experience. So nice to get that extra bottle of water after.
At the sing a long, we were seated in the third row, and we arrived about 20 minutes before start.
Well, 10 minutes before start, the whole second row was filled with not premium guests. The CM said that since not all premium showed, they opened the row up to non premium guests. Had I known that, I might have shown up right at the last minute. Many in my row were mad that we should have had the second row seats instead of first filling the third row seats. For me, knowing I had a close seat ticket, it was worth the package price.
Yes, I have mentioned this a few times throughout the thread. It's possible for the last person in the house to end up with one of the best seats as they fill in all available space.
I have also mentioned seeing people with the premium package show up AFTER the return window and not being able to be seated in the theater for their show time. They were advised to go to the standby line to see if they can get a seat or to exchange their return ticket for another show.
You're right though. For the package, there is no reason to show up earlier than the return window for the show. You are guaranteed a seat in the 3rd, 4th or 5th rows. And once that return window closes, the remaining seats get filled in.
The 1st and 2nd rows are saved for guests that need accommodations and someone on this thread also said VIP. There are 4 spaces for w/c and each w/c is allowed 5 guests. If there are any empty seats in those two rows; they get filled in the same way. The remaining spaces for
ECV/WC for people who aren't able to transfer is the very last row before the bleachers.
My son usually stays in his chair. So whether we are first in or last we know we'll end up in either the first or last row. Each has it's benefits. In the back of the theater you get the whole effects of the show. When Elsa works her magic it's just amazing to see from the back!! I'd like to try 1st row of the bleachers some time. I know I got great pictures from back there with my zoom lens during SWW.
When I was there a couple weeks ago, all 4 spaces in the front row were filled with very tall people on ECV. I don't think the people behind them could see. At least my son's chair sits low so he's actually lower than the standard theater chairs. Though in the back it puts him at a disadvantage of being lower than the theater seats. He's lucked out each time back there with children in front of him!
I agree, the hat did distract during the fireworks, but we moved back to the far corner of the roped off area, and that did help. We got there about 8pm, and they were serving the food and drinks. Since the fireworks did not start until 9:15, my teen kids did several rides coming and going from the roped area while I sat on the ground and talked with a nice mom to pass the time.
Would I buy this premium package again? Probably not, but it did make the day easier in some ways.
Sounds like a very nice day! Thanks for sharing your experience.
