**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Kristoff is on the Chip and Dale snowball fight float so that probably goes back to MVMCP. Maybe they could put Kristoff on one of those rover floats the troopers were on for SWW. Those two pieces originally were in Block Party Bash > Countdown to Fun.

I've done the keys to the kingdom tour and they seem to have a lot of floats hanging out so I'd think they could find a few if financially it pays off to redo ... So fun to think anything is possible! so hoping : )

Of course - thank you for all the great tips and updates! :thumbsup2

We did not have a FP+ for the second Fantasmic viewing at 10:30. It was fairly crowded, but not super congested on Sunset Avenue on the way to the theater. We did take Hollywood Blvd to Sunset. We watched the concert and Frozen Fireworks from right in front of the popcorn cart on Hollywood Blvd, adjacent to Brown Derby. So immediately after the fireworks we were able to turn right onto Sunset before the crowds got very heavy - we didn't see any ropes so maybe they were already down? This worked out really well and we got great seats for both the fireworks in a relatively uncrowded area, and for Fantasmic afterwards.

Oh wow! That's great. And you got 3rd row. But makes more sense. I thought you were by the popcorn cart between Idol and the stage. But the one you say makes more sense for a quick exit to Sunset.

LOL, there we go! They are white like snow!

Is it possible to do all of the FSM and regular DHS rides in one day or does it require a 2nd day at park? Trying to decide if I should buy the park hopper pass...

It hasn't been possible for us, but we aren't there open to close. We haven't even been using our 3 FP+.

A few pages back, waltsdream posted the itinerary for their day. They covered quite a bit including attractions and all the Frozen stuff.

Thanks! Good to know. Going in 3 weeks and trying to work it all out. With a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old, not sure we could be there from open to close either. Rather spend extra money and enjoy ourselves than make everyone miserable by trying to do it all in one day

I don't know if you saw my post from what we did today. We covered a lot of territory in a short time.

Arrived at 10:45 and headed to the Backlot Express while dh went for return tickets for the singalong.

Stepped out for the parade at 11:05.

11:15 headed to Oaken's to play in the snow.

11:50 headed to the sing-along return queue

12:30 Saw the singalong

1pm headed home.

So if we would have stayed we would have had til 8pm to ride attractions and eat before getting a spot for the fireworks.

The parade itself is just under 5 minutes, the welcome on the stage is just over 5 minutes. So plan on 10 if you do both, 5 if just the one. :)[/QUOTE]

Thanks so much!!!

If we do sit at the tables at Min and Bills' and the crowd stay standing-is it only the view of the stage that gets blocked by the crowd? I'm not sure if there is a screen visible from that spot but I am thinking that the screen view of the stage and fireworks would be visible above the crowds head :confused3
Sorry-just too much of a planner and I hate when I cant "picture" something ahead of time..lol
Our trip is for the Frozen events so I want to make it great! :)

I couldn't see the screen at all. I caught glimpses of the stage. Even the fireworks were blocked by kids on shoulders. But I'm short. We were at the last table right across from the idol screen. Along the fence.

But I could see the icemen perfectly before all the people arrived. No blocked view of the screen at all.

That's seems like a very reasonable schedule. Maybe I'll give that a shot and then decide on adding the park hopper pass. Our DHS day is the 1st day scheduled. Thank you so much for all the info you have been posting. It really helps!!

Does anyone know if stuff bought in Oakens can be sent back to the resort? I am guessing so but just want to double check also.

We are doing the PP on Sept 28th and have booked FP+'s for the 2nd viewing of Fantasmic. Will be able to hotfoot it over there from the dessert party and get in in the FP+ window? Just wanted to hear other peoples experiences :)

Yes you can ship package to resort or the front of the park.
,
We haven't seen F! in years. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Just wanted to add my experience... We were there with premium package on 8/12. We were running late and arrived a few minutes after opening. I would say around 9:10. All the crowds were through as I assume they opened the gates early. After entering I realized that we had not grabbed our Olaf fans so we stopped to look around i noticed 2 CMs standing at the end of the sidewalk wearing button down shirts. They just kinda stood out to me. I walked over to ask them about fans and BINGO they were assigning kids to walk in the processional! I accidentally came across what I had hoped for (must have been my Disney intuition! Lol!) Anyway DD and DS were put on a list to return at 10:30 to walk in processional. We had 9:30 dis jr FP (my kids love that show) and headed over right after that. Meanwhile we had the premium package so I sent DH over to grab some drinks snacks and our sing a long tickets. He arrived there about 10:30 and they only had tickets for 3:30 or 7:00. So if you have premium package definitely get there early if you need a certain return time! 7:00 worked off us since we were leaving and returning for dessert party. Walking in the processional was ultra cool and we had a front row view of stage show! I was concerned about dessert part hand DD4 with peanut/tree nut allergies. I brought a bag if goodies for her just I'm case but they weren't needed! She had plenty to snack on! Party was lots of fun with the iceman/DJ really upping the energy! Oh and the singalong was SO fun! I'm sad to say my kids lost stamina so we missed the fireworks but all in all we had an awesome day!

Anyway just wanted to share in case the info helps anyone!

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a great day.

Only dh was needed to check in to the package?

OK, I downloaded the Aurasma app and ran it over the park guide cover they have posted online...and frankly expected nothing to happen, but that's pretty cool, actually. I think I'm going to incorporate it (somehow) into unveiling the surprise trip to the kids.

Anyway, the app prompted me to make an account...is there any reason I need one? When I take an actual picture of something, can I just save it to my phone's gallery?

Maybe this is old news but didn't see it posted yet...just grabbed a FP+ for the sing-along for 9/2!!!! Does not seem to be avail for 8/23 so maybe this is starting after Labor Day? On the fence about package now. We'll see.
