**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Sorry for asking a basic question. I've read through a lot of this thread, and I'm getting weary :goodvibes. Where do I pick up tickets for the sing a long? Sorry again -I'm tired and I must have missed it.

DH and I were there this afternoon (8/3) and we thought we remembered seeing quite a few Elsa dresses.

That's great news for those looking for them!

Hey all. I was just able to buy the Premium package for 2 adults on 8/30. Don't give up because folks cancel. :)

I have a couple of questions. I apologize if they were asked in an earlier thread, I read several pages and have not seen my exact questions yet.
1. How worth it is it to see the entrance parade? I have seen that it is only 4 minutes long - we are going on the last day (9/1) and are planning on going to AK for EMH first. We would have to rush over to HS to see the parade. Otherwise, we can take our time and just go in the afternoon and pick up tickets for the Sing A Long. Suggestions? It's really the only day we can go to AK & we only have a few things to do there...so hoping this can work out.
2. Do all members of your party have to be present to pick up the Sing A Long tickets? We will be meeting friends at HS and they will be there before us. Could they pick our Sing A Long tickets up for us?
Thanks!!

We did the premium package last night and it is soooo worth it. I doubt I could have dragged the DD's to anything but now they HAD to go. I've always been he fanboy.

We had a blast with everything!!! The fireworks were spectacular but the singalong was also a great time. Best thing to do in the heat of the afternoon.

I have just seen this on craigslist:

Magic Ice USA is currently hiring for "The Ice Rink at Disney/MGM Studios" and is accepting applications for open ice skate guard positions. The rink is in operation from July 5th through the end of September and we are looking for qualified individuals to fill the following position.

So it looks like Frozen is staying a little longer. :yay:

:dance3:

This would make my wife and daughters trip in mid-Sept...

Esp since we couldn't get A&E FP+s

If you look at the banners hat are up all over the park they say "Frozen Fun",
Only on the TV screens does it say Frozen Summer Fun. Looks like they we packed every night and I doubt Disney will pass up on Frozen Fall Sun.

Or it's just happening in a different timeline...Disney/MGM Studios?!? What year are we in?

However, I would caution that just because some elements may stick around like Ice Skating, and then I'd guess the merchandise location it doesn't necessarily mean that ALL Frozen Fun elements will be extended like the parade and fireworks.

Read several (but not all) of the pages and it answered many questions. But I like to clarify for my purposes.

1. You cannot choose which show when you pick up return passes for the sing along? But one post said something like all shows were available, so that made it sound otherwise. Trying to decide if it's worth the extra trip over there. We have 12:25 Sci-Fi ADR so no 12:30 show. But the 1:30 would be perfect. We will be on that side of the park for our 11-12 TSMM FP+. Is it recommended we try to pick up passes earlier?

2. How much time is recommended to return for fireworks? We will be there on a 9:15 night. We thought if we left EPCOT by boat by 8:00, we'd be back by 8:30. That sounds good, right? And it sounds like anywhere on Hollywood Blvd, maybe near the screen is a good place? We have never done fireworks at DHS so don't know the obstacles like we do at MK. And I want the 8:30 Fantasmic people to be off the road. Don't think I want to get there before that show begins.

Thanks!

The day I was there we were able to select which show for the sing-along we wanted (we did not buy the premium package). I think we wandered over around 12 or 1 and there were still tickets for just about all the shows available; we asked and were given ticket for the 6 o'clock show.

I'm not sure about the fireworks, we stayed in the park and were there for the 9:45 show. We just went and plopped down on Hollywood Blvd in the middle of the dance party lol, near one of the popcorn carts. I think it was a little after 8:30, so we got there a while before they started and had a great spot. There were already a bunch of people in front of us that were there for the dance party, and there was a mob behind us by the time the fireworks started. We had a great view.

You can chose your time for the singalong. Only 1 member of your party needs to be present.

I may be in the minority. I prefer watching the fireworks from near the Idol screen. But I don't like to feel crowded and it's less crowded around Echo Lake than Hollywood blvd.

I admit that I have lost track of the topic but was wondering what the latest word was for firework viewing and the premium package. Are they still preventing people from standing in front of those in the package area? How far back should one with the package go for best viewing? I'm concerned that the hat is going to block things but still want to be inside the designated area.
