**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

The only thing keeping me from booking is that there will be no seating at the desert party. :(

Really considering going back for this because I know a 6 year old who would be in absolute heaven at this event!!

Can not wait unitl the morning. Absolutely booking this for our end of July trip. Sounds sensational, as we LOVE Frozen and looking forward to hearing feedback on Jult 5th. 20 days left until we leave!

We are booked for August 10th. I called around 9:40pm last night. On My Disney Experience, it first came up as Feel the force and then switched over to Min and Bill's Dockside Diner. Unfortunately, I initially reserved for a party of six and it only came up as a party of four. I called back around 11:15 pm and the Cast Member changed it for me. It took her a couple of tries because the system was a little glitchy. (She said she had trouble finding the Frozen Premier package that day, but she got my info from my reservation number.) She kept refreshing and everything went through correctly. I just wanted to make sure that everyone double checks their reservation ASAP to make sure their reservations are in order.

Just booked the party for 8/30!! Didn't want to spend the cash but also don't want to wait in long line, esp if it's hot, with the kids. My daughters will be super excited..I don't plan on telling them about it beforehand :)

We'll be there too! I hope there's some shade for the parade. It will be hot.

Kenny did the SWW FtF package on the first day and waited until 11am to check in. After that first weekend they improved on the way they load the area.
They had a dedicated spot for kids in the front (they need to sit) with adults standing behind the kids. They also opened the area at 10:30am for the 11:30am parade for SW.
The only thing I can recommend is checking in at 10am. Some days might be busier than others.

I am excited about this only because perhaps it will draw the crowds to DHS and away from the other parks that I actually go to. ;) I like FROZEN but the songs are starting to grate on me, so the M&G with A&E at the MK should give me my fill.

His experience of the parade was similar to mine. However, we didn't arrive at the last minute like him.

Here is what I posted earlier in the thread. http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=51773736&postcount=124

After reading about previous firework experience, I knew not to get right by the stage if I wanted to see the fireworks. So we were all the way to the left of the stage. We had a decent view for both the stage show and the fireworks.

There were 3 rows of guests in the regular viewing area in front of the Premium Package viewing area.

There was both a walkway and a regular viewing area right in front of the Premium Package viewing for the fireworks. People in front of the stage all migrated to the left after the show to see the fireworks.

The hat blocked some of our view of the fireworks. But we had already seen the fireworks a different weekend.

The desserts were fantastic. The krispie treats were my favorite. In addition to the event desserts, there was an icecream cart. I had an orange creamsicle. My husband and ds had MPB. It was so hot out that all the sticks were off the icecream til I got it back to our table. But we still enjoyed them, just made it a bit more messy. I had wet wipes in my bag and we had plenty of napkins.

As everyone was leaving the viewing area after, cm were handing out last minute icecream and drinks. So I was able to continue enjoying the snacks and a water on the way to the car.

The view of the fireworks from the FtF area was not the best. They weren't completely blocked out but you can't appreciate all of it. In the survey I received after the day of my package I suggested they move the fireworks viewing/dessert party over to Min and Bills. Then people would have tables and chairs to sit and a better view of the fireworks.
The stage show before the fireworks was shown on the AIE jumbotron so it would work out perfectly.
Some people had their desserts and drinks and stayed in the package location until about 10 minutes before the fireworks enjoying the food and music and then moved to the area around Echo Lake in front of 50s Prime Time and had a better view of the fireworks

Yay! Just booked the Frozen Summer Premium Pkg for end of July and it was super easy. The CM was sensational and filled me in on any/all info she had. You will get your "Sing-A-Long" time when you check in at Minn and Bills. She explained that if you have a ADR or FP , they will work with you for a time that fits. Must have photo ID with you for the Dessert Party, as it DOES include alcoholic beverages. We are VERY excited!!!:):):):)

Thanks for that. I called and booked earlier today, and forgot to ask that! Phew! We only have one of our FP+ booked for before 10am, everything else is the afternoon, as is our main meal (originally had a 3.45pm at Mama Melrose... now have that AND a 1.55pm so I can check with DH, but think we will move it to the earlier one so we have more time to digest before the Dessert Party!) We're doing the Premium Package on the 19th August :) :woohoo:

Thinking about booking the Frozen Summer Premium Package but our daughter has a gluten allergy. I know that Disney has accommodated for allergies in other fireworks packages--but I wonder what will be available for her.

Not sure it is worth it..... plus we will have to change ADRs and touring plans.

Thinking!!

There were posts in SWW related threads that stated the only gluten-free desserts were the Mickey Premium bars. The strawberry fruit bars were also available during the parade viewing but I'm not sure if they are gluten-free. Because there is not a chef onsite for the dessert parties, they don't provide specific requests.

I was asked if we had any allergies, so I would imagine that GF would be taken into account!

Thanks! Decision made. Nothing worse than watching everyone else enjoy lots of yummy desserts.
