***Official February 2017 Thread***

I booked my ADRs yesterday morning (not much else I would wake up at 6:00 AM on a weekend for!). I got everything we wanted and I was very surprised at how easy it was. Our last trip was the week of Thanksgiving and we struggled to get the reservations we wanted. I probably won't do a pre-trip report, but LOVE to read them! Regarding purchases, the only ones I will make beforehand are costumes for the 10k and half marathon. I am thinking Tinkerbell and Cinderella, but haven't decided for sure yet :)

I hope everyone else's planning is going well!

I'm in a definite holding pattern right now. DVC points have been rented, ADR's have been made, hotel reservations have been made for the drive down and the drive home. The next thing will be to purchase park tickets. I'll probably do that sometime in October/November. I want to make sure I get them in time to link them to my reservation in MDE prior to December so I can make make FP+ reservations on the first day available to me. I'll also want to purchase the Memory Maker at some point, but I can hold off a little bit longer on that. In the mean time, I continue to count down. 159 days until we leave home; 161 days until we arrive in Orlando; 162 days until we check into our Disney resort.

Being stuck in Florida while home is snowed in -- the dream of all Northeast vacationers! (Including us. I'm your neighbor in PA.)

OMG, that happened to us once and it was HEAVEN! There was free dining and we just had to add another 2 days on our park tix (we went from 8 to 10) and then room another 2 nights they gave a us a HUGE discount due to all the cancellations. i wish it would happen again!

I'm in MAYBE. Parents can babysit dogs, just waiting for the ok from hubby's work. Yay! We've been so broke we haven't been to disney in two 1/2 years by then. Big change from going twice a year!

Maybe is YES!!!!! I just booked sunday. My sister is a complete angel and paid for the kids tickets for early bday/holiday gifts so we defiantly have enough money now. Had to change dates though to avoid the marathon (not our cup of tea) so we are going 2/5 (coming in late evening) and leaving the 16th to avoid the holiday crowd. TEN glorious days! we did Art of Ani for the kids. I was leaning towards Coronado but the kids have been wanting to go to Art of Ani.

Blargh... I did not remember to get up at 6am this morning to book anything. Hopefully we won't want a sit down our first day, but just incase I managed to get a few and then we'll weed them out later. No BOG though and I was really hoping for that our first non-travel night for just DSis and I. Pooh pooh. Hopefully TS's kiddo can beat her cold soon so mommy has some time to book our rooms. Waking up before 6am for a whole week is not my cup of tea. I also want kiddo to just get better anyway.

Hello all!! I just found this thread, so excited to chat with other Feb visitors. We'll be at Poly the 9th-14th. We rented DVC points, so that is done, bought park tickets last week, and have made ADRs. I think that's going to need a lot of tweaking, though, now that there are some new park hours. We'll be there for my son's 9th birthday. Our last trip was May 2014 for my daughter's 5th birthday, so I'll be trying to plan less princessy things this time! So much fun to think about. I'm thinking of doing a PTR just to try and organize my thoughts, plus I love to read everyone else's.

PS - our kids are getting this trip for Christmas, so any surprise suggestions are welcome! Last time we didn't tell them until we picked them up from school on our way out of town, which was fun but they didn't really understand what was happening. Ha.

We will also be there 2/19-2/24. Staying in Disney Springs this time! I know presidents week can be crowded, but it's when we can go, (teachers). Looking forward to the break from our cold NY winters

We are officially booked in 3 different rooms at Pop Century for Feb 26 to March 4th!! My TS friend even snagged DSis and I a BOG reservation! I'm super excited :) Now to try and find time to start that PTR.

One year we made a Disney countdown chain and boxed it for the kids. They loved it!
