I really don't care so much who wins, I just hope it is JR or Rob. I am so sick of hearing Ricki talk about her weight, she IS like a broken record. and does seem to need reassurance.
It is so unflattering, she should accept herself and not portray this image that she HAS to be thin to be happy.

She was very unhappy when she was overweight, so for her, maybe she DOES need to be thin to be happy? Who are we to judge what gives her happiness?

I think Ricki has self esteem issues. She's said numerous times that she feels like the fat girl still and so on. This competition will probably be good for her, she looks fantatic IMO and has done an amazing job dancing. I didn't get that she seems unhappy though, just a bit fixated on her weight.

It didn't help when she looked like she was on Biggest Loser finale the way she busted through her "fat before picture" on her freestyle .

First time I've chimed in on this thread, but I've been watching all season. I think the judges are too easy on Rob. His dances bore me. He has definitely improved a lot over the season and portions of both of his dances last night were very good, but other portions were a bore. I think his fluidity is awful. He's constantly pausing between moves. If they are going to deduct points for Rikki's lack of fluidity, they should be doing the same for Rob.

Yup. They were all over Ricki for her fluidity but Rob's was convienently overlooked? Interesting...

I thought JR's freestyle absolutely blew Rob's out of the water. It's too bad they had already given Rob all 10's, because there was no way to score JR any higher, and he deserved it on the freestyle. JR's timing was off on his cha cha, but he didn't deserved that 7. I gave all my votes to JR, because I think he is the best dancer, but I think Rob will win it, because it seems that's what ABC is pushing. All season, the judges have been so supportive and complimentary to him, which they should be to ALL contestants, but it's a sharp contrast to the way they treated some of the others. It's easy to gain confidence and improve when you're being constantly flattered while others are belittled for their efforts.

Agreed. JR came out blazing and Rob just came out. Seriously though, Rob's was so slow compared to JR's. The fact that he was given 10's is laughable to me, it wasn't even comparable to the other dances. I think you have it right though, ABC wants him to win for some reason. Maybe he's going to be the next Bachelor! God forbid.

I agree. Everytime she mentioned her weight, I felt badly for hern because she sounded very negative about herself. She looks fabulous. But I would imagine that once you've been overweight and unhappy, you probably do think being thin would bring you happiness.

My biggest problem with Rob is he should have gone home before some of the other better dancers. If he improved, think how much better Chyna (sp) would have been or the Disney girl. If we are voting for the most improved then Kirstie Alley should have won last time.

Rob improved, he had a good night last night but should he win for one good night? I thought his waltz was bad and scored to high, his freestyle should have gotten 9's, of course that is just my opinion. I don't think he was the best dancer last night, he should not be in first place.

I think Rikki has been off for the last couple of weeks, JR had the ankle problem last week but his second dance was great.

I think the judges have treated Rob the same way they treated Bristol. Never really hard on them, small, kind criticisms, not the harsh belittling type that they gave Hope and Chaz. Although they were nice to Bristol, I think they have played favorites with Rob.

Was I the only one that did not like Rob's freestyle? I love the song Minnie the Moocher but I hated Cheryl's dress and did not enjoy the dance at all. I really liked Rikki's freestyle. JR's was OK.

Absolutely! Chynna was one of my early favs (apart from JR) and I was very disappointed she left so early. It would've been very interesting to see just how far she'd have gone had she not messed up her last routine.

Kirstie was for me, one of the most entertaining celebs they've ever had! I loved watching her and Maks dance together.

Ya, I agree. He has improved some but winning for one good night? Lame. I'm already gearing myself up for the fact that he might win tonight.

Ricki has been off a little lately. I think she's letting the competition get to her. Still, I've really enjoyed her dances all season.

I felt horrible for JR, his ankle seemed to be bothering him. Such a shame! I still think he pulled off a great freestyle though, it was so energic and fun. He really has had a calming influence on Karina, she's so relaxed this season especially.

Oh please do not mention Bristol! I almost swore off DWTS forever after that season. I could not believe how much they favored her. And you're right, now they're doing it with Rob. His a darling with the judges this year, I don't get it. Unless they really are afraid of all those Kardashians.

I would never have guessed that Rikki and Derek would be so far behind. Of course, Dial Idol only measures call in votes and many people vote on the internet but I still found it interesting.

I really like J.R. and dislike Robb, sorry, the whole Kardashian thing really turns me off. I would rank them thus:

I hope that's not right. Maybe Rikki fans have gotten behind JR because they don't want Rob to win.

I know it's just DWTS but I will be really bummed if Rob wins.

Plus, the costume designer really doesn't know how to dress pooh sized women. The costumes are ugly in general, but on larger women, his designs are hideous. He put Rikki in yellow Big Bird feathers last week. This week, that white dress had about 4" of feather right around the hips.

That is such a Project Runway disaster. I an hear Michael Kors & Tim Gunn now, "You never add 4" around the part that a woman is naturally self-conscious about. They don't want more padding there, they want to de-emphasize their hips."

Rob is like a toddler, honestly. Very childlike, and they are treating him with kid gloves. It is very irritating that the judges blatantly do not care how obvious they are about it. Oh well...gimme some Maks and Kirstie anytime...some REAL sizzle on the dance floor!

I don't recall her saying she had an eating disorder, just that she didn't eat well as a teenager and then onward. However, she seems very fixated on her weight and sounds like she identifies her worth in that way. I feel sad for her if that's so. Not everybody is a six 6 for crying out loud.

Good grief, they should fire whoever's been dressing Ricki, Cheryl and Hope. These ladies aren't stick figures so those deep v shaped backless dresses aren't doing them any favors. Or the feathers surrounding the hips as has been discussed here!

I need some clarification...Rob is a reality star? I know he is related to reality stars, but I honestly don't know, is he ever on any of the episodes? Is Len blind? The best footwork of ANY guys he has seen on the show? Do these judges realize once Rob leaves DWTS the pedestal doesn't go with him?
I can see the headlines now..
Rob Kardashian hit's rock bottom... keeps repeating "I was the Winner of DWTS! I won the mirror ball trophy! I'm SOMEBODY!"
I am almost feeling bad for the guy.

Watching the playbacks, JR's freestyle was soooo much better than Rob's. JR actually did more dancing. Rob simply threw Cheryl around or dragged her across the floor.

Did any of you hear Derek say regarding Rob's freestyle "wow, he could win this thing?" He sounded pretty shocked, much like the rest of us here.

I think that since the judges get to score one more dance, Rob will win. It's like they're all in love with him. I don't get it

Ricki's tango was really good. Rob's dance was ok. I don't get why the judges are all "it's no big deal that you slipped"? Really? I'm sorry, I thought this was the finale?
