Ugh, I really liked Chyna and Tony! So ridiculous that worse dancers are staying. It really is a popularity contest, isn't it.:headache:
She was the worst dancer last night :confused3. I felt really sorry for Tony after they showed how wonderful and supportive he was when he realized she screwed up. I kinda wish I had thrown a couple votes their way for him. I too was hoping that she was "the one" for him earlier in the season.

Julianne is what, five years older than when she started on the show? Thinking she was just 19 her first season. Yes, she looks more mature now. But still very pretty. And I'm sure she's in good shape, but ballroom dancing requires top conditioning.

Did anyone else hear Brooke announce that Susan Boyd was going to sing
"Enchanted Melody"? And that next week, the dancers would be "teasing their hands"? sheesh

I SO heard both of Brooks mess ups! Odd.

I thought Julianne Hough looked as though she had lost some of her sharpness on the dance floor. Some of her technique. She just looked a bit rough and unpolished, but I guess she;s been on-set and in the recording studio more than the dance studio.

Yay. Chynna had no bid-ness there...forgetting the routine. No excuse.

Chynna was the worse dancer on Monday Oct 10th and that is why for the voting that took place for that night, she was the one sent home. The judges tried to hlep her, but it wasn't enough. If she had only flubbed up a step, it could have gone better for her, but to flat out forget the routine, it is the worse thing that could happen on the dance floor.

The worse dancer on the show is Chaz with Carson a close 2nd. Chaz is painful to watch, because of how bad he is and he doesn't have any flair/style to bring to the dances to help compensate for the lack of skills. Carson, while his techinques are not spot on, he does have the flair - and then some - to bring to the dance and make it work.

I wonder if Ryan was with Julianne?

I think it would be funny to see Ryan compete in DWTS as Julianne as his partner. When she was with Chuck it seems they made it pretty far

I think her good scores worked against her. If they had given her 5's or 6's instead of the pity 7's, I would have felt sorry for her and voted to give her another chance. The undeserved 7's just made me mad!

Wow, I like Chaz as a person but I think he should have gone home last night. I know Chynna messed up, and I'm not crazy about her, but overall she is a much better dancer.

My top two are JR and Ricki. And even though he is not the best dancer, for me Carson is the most entertaining and that counts for a lot. So JR, Ricki and Carson are my top 3.

I would love to see Maks win this year, but Hope just isn't that good. Nancy does not have enough personality, neither does Rob.

As for Brooke, OMG, please get rid of her next year!

Completely agree with all of this.

And I think there is probably huge number of people voting for Chaz just because of who he is. Cher's fans will vote for him, members of the GLBT community will vote for him (not that there's anything wrong with that but they should be splitting their votes with Carson!!). I also think there's people voting for him who were very angry when the very conservative people made such a public stink about him being invited to participate in the first place - and I think they will continue to vote for him no matter what. Kind of a role reversal with the Bristol Palin effect.

But if he stays much longer, and better dancers keep getting sent home, because of this effect, I am going to start getting REALLY annoyed. I am getting tired of seeing his little chubby teddy-bear self shuffle around the floor.:sad2:

I have missed it the last couple of times, but is Brooke still stressing her married last name? I noticed it the 1st few shows, when she'd introduce herself, it was "And I'm Brooke Burke Charvet.

It was almost like she just had to make sure you knew that she was now a married woman. It just seemed a little strange.

heard her goofs too...but boy she never messes up when she talks about how SHE knows exactly blah blah blah from when SHE was a contestant  I say she gets a Chynna and is voted off for forgetting her lines, lol. Seriously, she has a teleprompter...just stands there all Barbie dolled up. has no personality or spontaneous comments like Tom..why is she there? They should have included replacing her when they replaced the ballroom.

First of all, it's Susan Boyle not Boyd...;) but I will forgive you that one. We definately agree on Brooke. Who doesn't know Unchained Melody???? Especially if you are the co-host. Geez....but the worst was Susan's singing. I don't get what everyone sees in her. Maybe it was a bad night, but she was soooo bad. I was squinting when she was trying to hit those high notes. She was just terrible.

I think that Julianne is absolutely adorable, like her brother.

I agree about Susan's singing last night....she sounded off key. I still remember her first time on British Idol...it was amazing. I wonder if she had practiced at all with that orchestera behind her, if you know what I mean....

The first couple of weeks Chynna was good but there was something about her that I just didn't care for...too dramatic or something... I can't explain what I mean but all the long looks and big sighs etc. just kind of annoyed me.

Carson...very entertaining. He's hot and cold as far as ability, but I LOVE watching him! Monday night was not great dancing, but I loved the pink pirate flag at the end. I thought his cha cha and his tango were the 2 best. I kind of like that Anna's having fun with him. I thought it was hysterical the way he dropped to the ground yesterday when they said he was safe.

Chaz...not all that good but I agree with Carrie Ann when she says there's something about him. Not that I think he should win it, but I have a great deal of respect for how he's handling himself and whenever he speaks he seems like such a gentle soul or something....but what was up with Cher's lips???? Oy....stop with the fillers already!

Does anyone else find it disturbing that Lacey keeps rubbing Chaz's belly- it is so disrespectful and also draws even more attention to it. :scared1:

Maybe she's doing it in an endearing way. It is actually good luck to rub the belly of a Chinese Buddha statue. It's supposed to be better to get a fatter Buddha, too, as that means they are prosperous and well fed.

I think it is done in an endearing manner ... but it still annoys me too!

I've noticed some other "hand" stuff - have you paid attention to Kym and David when Brooke is interviewing them while they're waiting for their scores? David has his hand around Kym's waist, and she has this really tight grip on his hand, like "keep your hand HERE buster, and don't move it!" Me thinks David is a little too touchy-feely with Kym......

Yes! I hate seeing her run it all the time.

and Yes! She really seems to be fighting to keep his hand up there.

We call them Ken and Barbie.

My DD10 is in looooooove with Derek. She is into Barbies and the idea of a real life Ken makes her swoon. Earlier seasons when he had longer hair and slicked it back he looked like a "Classic Ken" (you know, the ones with the molded plastic hair). When he wore it mussed, we said he looked like "Modern Ken" with the rooted hair.
