Ewwwww ... Hope Solo is on the cover of ESPN Magazine in a really UGLY photo:

I really admire athletic, strong women but she is way too boney to be attractive, IMO.

I had seen where she was one of the 4 people going to be on the cover for this. And yea, not a very flattering picture of her. Yes, it shows that she has a toned, fit body but, nothing is "pretty" about her in it.

Although, it does show that she does know how to point her feet. Now if she could only do that during her dances. As a dance mom, I HATE lazy feet.

Poor Chynna! She totally lost it and couldn't get back into it. She looked like she was going to cry any minute. I'm glad Brooke didn't say something stupid where she would have lost it.



As for David, Len was right. He had no grace, he stomped around. That was the longest song. Every time I thought the song would end, it would start over again.

Poor Hope is so stiff. She just doesn't have that musical flow.I loved the music though.

I couldn't believe they gave Carson & Anna one point less than Chynna, who totally lost it.

Even Nancy got the same score as Chynna. She actually did okay. But the obviously don't like her.

I wish Tristan would put Nancy in a costume that was flattering.

Glad to see that ABC is getting their money's worth with that fabric they keep using week after week for Nancy Grace In all seriousness, she surprises me each week with how well she is doing in the competition and mostly that she hasn't exploded on anyone.



I do think that the dances to musical scores like Carson's, Rob's, etc are much more challenging due to the fact that there are no words to keep you on track or that they are not songs you hear on a regular basis.

How is it that Derek gets the best special effects? I thought with Tony dropping from the ceiling, David soaring in on the rope and Carson with the sword fight that they finally might some close to Derek but NOOOOOOO he comes along and uses the most awesome special effects I have seen in a long time.

I haven't really watched him the past weeks. If THAT was his best performance, I have no words.

The choreography was awful. His movements were awful. He was like a 10 year old, playing on the playground to Rocky. That dance was absolutely hideous. It was a trainwreck.

Carson is lower then Chaz.... oh for pity sake. Just because Cher is in the audience doesn't mean he deserved higher scores. He was just freakin' awful.

More to the point, Chynna was higher than either one. At least THEY remembered most of the steps. I like her and I like Tony, but they should not have received 7's.

typed the words right out of my fingertips ....however I loved Kirstie Alley and she was given some slack if I remember, but I don't think she basically flubbed a whole routine. Now Kate Gosselin,,,she forgot and was hit with low scores as it should have been. I am not a fan of Kates and the low score were justified. Chynna no way earned 7's. The only reason I would be slightly bummed if she went, would be for Tony's sake.

Somebody must have slipped her one of Len's cranky pants pills. She was so off on her comments of dance.

Chaz and Lacy - what a mess!!! I truely feel for Lacy. While I know she is very supportive of Chaz, it must be fustrating to have to keep everything as simple as possible for him. Lacy is a "big" dancer and she can't do that, as Chaz can't do the steps or keep up with the music. And I'll say, that outfit, REALLY made him look fat. Not big, fat!!!

I also didn't like it..and I didn't care for Chynna's, either.

Loved the enhanced orchestra and most of the music last night.

Really? I LOVED it. I loved the pacing, I loved how it sped up and slowed down with the music, I loved the drama, the story told by the dance, I loved the struggle between Ricki and Derek and I loved the special effects. The whole thing LITERALLY gave me goosebumps.

FTR, I'm not a big Derek fan ... mostly because he usually gets the good dancers and he is head and shoulders above the rest of the pros when it comes to choreography. He seems like too much of a shoe-in every season.

I couldn't believe it either And then Len gives David a 7 as well? He danced way better than Chynna, I just can't belive they both got 7s
