Official Disney Dining Plan 2008 Information PDF Available

I'm guessing child meals contain the appetizer since so many restaurants have those pre-set child meals which automatically come with an appetizer.

Do you think it's not included on the pdf due to oversight? Or cause it's run by a non Disney company?

If it is anything like what happened last year, CSR didn't get added to the DDP until late in the year...Oct/Nov time frame.

wow!! I guess I have been in the dark. I have the rumors on the disboards that a major change was coming to the dining plan, just logged into the disney website to check out packages for next year and came across the new dining plan.

I can say that my family won't miss the appetizer taken from the regular dining plan as we always have enough to eat without it.

On the part where I get a little confused- the tipping issues.

Please tell me if I am correct:

On a party of 6 or more 18% gratuity is automatically added. We will traveling in a party of 5 people or 4 people next year so what happens then- we have to pay the gratuity- sorry I am used to it being automatically configured by using the dining plan of this year.

oops- guess I need to adjust my ADRs and my itinerary, Chefs de France is no longer listed

Similar things happened last year. The "non-Disney" run restaurants didn't appear until after the official announcement came. I wouldn't worry yet.

I called today to find out the price of the basic DDP and this is what I was told...

Basic $37.99 age 10+
Basic $9.99 age 9+

This does NOT include tip or the app on your TS. Hope this helps someone!
