Official Disney Dining Plan 2008 Information PDF Available

Hello Everyone,

I haven't seen this posted yet and I'm sorry if it already has been...

I tried changing the variable for the Dining Plan page on the official DW site today from 07 to 08 and it yielded the PDF for the 2008 plan.

I don't have enough posts to be able to include hyperlinks..so you'll have to dig until someone else can post the link. Look for the '07 PDF for the listed restaurants and then once the PDF loads, change the "07Dining.pdf" to "08Dining.pdf"

I hope this is helpful to others awaiting any information RE Booking 2008 Packages. It appears that it was created yesterday.

Number of Meals During Your Package Stay
The Disney Dining Plan includes one (1) Quick Service Meal, one (1) Snack, and one (1) Table Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over.


Q. Are gratuities included?
A. No, gratuities are not included unless otherwise indicated. An 18% gratuity will be added automatically for parties of 6 or more. A gratuity may also be added automatically
for ordered items that are not included in the Disney Dining Plan (e.g. alcoholic beverages).

The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan includes three (3) Meals and two (2) Snacks per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over. The plan also includes one (1) Resort refillable drink mug per person, per package (only eligible for refills at Quick Service locations in your Disney Resort hotel). The example below illustrates a dining plan for a three-night, four-day package.

I wish that instead of getting rid of the appetizer for TS they would have given us the choice of either an appetizer or dessert.

Thats because an appitizer is much more than a desert $$ wise........

My friend who works at the resort said an outside company from California operates the food section (Pepper Market)and that they have NOT agreed on a contract for dining. Maybe that will change ???

Maybe its another cut by Disney to save a few dollars because of the CS meals being too many $$$$ JMO

Every year when they initially release the list of participating restaurants, many are left off and are added in next few months. Generally this is because they are not operated by disney and a contract has not been finalized. I would wait a bit longer before changing any plans since this is common practice.

So many of the Epcot restaurants are not on there!

Don't change anything yet. It will take a while, but the other restaurants should be added later. We saw this happen last year. It took a few weeks, but in the end all of the "regulars" were included in the plan.
