I was feeling a little under the weather yesterday, so I stayed home from school to try to finish some of MY homework that was due by last Wednesday, when I got a phone call that my DS, Jesse, had been in an accident on his way home from school. He lost control of his car, veered over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic, hit an SUV, and was hit from behind by the next vehicle! His car is TOTALLED - he JUST got it last week! To top it off, since it is a 1993, I put liability-only on it; we paid $6,000 - down the toilet......prayers much appreciated.... (Thank God that he is okay, but the woman that hit him from behind hit the airbag and her faced was slightly burned from the powder and she was sent to the hospital....
