Now that we know Miguel isnt a good guy, why do I have a feeling he will try to get Dexter to go after Maria next?

In retrospect of how Miguel was acting in the season opener, it's like he's hiding something. At first glance, it seemed like he was somehow 'on' to Dexter, which unsettled him. I think he was worrying about Dexter learning something instead of suspecting Dexter. He was really touchy when Dexter was looking at Oscar's record.

Did anyone else LOVE Dexter's accent when he was phoning in those anonymous tips? I thought about how Hall is a NC native and may have talked that way before...

EXCELLENT episode except for Rita's crabbiness...I can't believe Dex let him into his world. Do you think it's a set up? Or worse?

I wondered about the set-up possibility.

I honestly kept expecting Miguel to say,"Wait a minute! YOU'RE the Bay Harbor Butcher!"

How will Miguel end? Is Smits staying on for future seasons? I doubt it. That seems to be the way Dexter seasons work......he lets someone get close to him and then he kills them.

The last episode seems to be the wedding. The title is Do You Take Dexter Morgan?

So who's the Skinner?

I LOVE this show! The ending was SO good last night with Ellen opening the door to Miguel. Then they totally ruined it with the previews for next week. I have no idea where this season is going, and I love that. The best I have come up with is based on little things this week, that Miguel is going to go rogue and Dexter will have to take him out. It is very sweet to see Dexter get a man crush on someone, especially since Rita is so self-involved at the moment, so I hope it doesn't end with Miguel's death, but there is no other way to end this...right?

I just watched the episode. I thought it was really good. I can't wait to see Dexter take down Miguel and the skinner. Only 2 more shows left for this season

I saw it. I've been recovering from Thanksgiving travel and prepping the house for carpet cleaning and new furniture.

I'm anxious to see where La Guerta's suspicions go, if anywhere.
Dexter will probably get out of his jam next Sunday, since the wedding is the last episode....presumably.

Dexter has been so busy with Miguel that he spent little to no time hunting the Skinner. He's usually all over that and 10 steps ahead of his own department.

Is Vince getting a storyline now?
How will Miguel go down?

I don't think the Vince storyline is what we think it is...I have a theory, but don't want to say it. If it comes true, then a lot of the suspense from Sunday is for nothing...

Yes, a dexter thread, I love life.

So I think I screamed at my TV when Dexter was taken.

No way Miguel can stay on. He's listed as a "special guest" in opening credits.
He won't last long anyway. People who learn Dexter's secret seem to all die eventually.

I think the last couple of episodes were the best of the whole season.

My random thoughts of the season....

I thought the scene with Dexter in the role reversal could have lasted a bit longer, he really didn't struggle and it seemed too easy for him to get away. I wonder why he didn't stay and explain what happened, now he will have to find a way to explain why his blood is found at the scene. I'm guessing he won't be the blood expert on the scene since he will be on his honeymoon.

I'm glad Dexter killed Miguel, he got on my nerves. I wonder if Ramon will be back next season to cause problems for Dexter or if Dexter's little speech has him moving on. I like Dexter better by himself in the killing department.

I really like Deborah and Anton together, they have more chemistry than anyone else they have matched her with. I liked Deborah better overall this season, I think her acting has come along and she wasn't as whiney and irritating.

I think Angel's girlfriend is destined to break his heart. She has obviously told other cops in her department about how they met.

I can't wait to see what kind of changes it will bring to Dexter when his baby is born. I think he loves Rita's kids, even though he doesn't think he can feel love.

Now we just have to wait for many months for a new season.
