DH has some theories about this season. I'm trying to figure out who's killing the victims they've been finding. Is it Miguel? Or Ramon? The way Miguel talks about his family, there's something dark there. He feels inadequate in his father's eyes, so maybe this is a by-product. Maybe he's cozying up to Dexter. because he sees a kindred spirit? DH thinks that Miguel will become Dexter's 'student'.

And Maria? I see her throwing herself at Miguel and getting pregnant. It's just the kind of fun she likes to have.

I'm still trying to figure Quinn out.

Deb has gotten over some of her 'Daddy' issues, which may account for a less grating demeanor. She's definitely focused on her work and her future instead of her past. Jennifer Carpenter and Michael Hall have been dating by the way and sometimes that makes scenes funny on a different level.

Killing that child molester was interesting, since it was not his normal ritualistic way. Did anyone else die laughing when Dexter was dragging Nathan Martin's nody into the kitchen and decided to grab the milk from his fridge?

DH and I laughed our butts off at him taking the milk! This last episode had a bit more dark comedy than the last few.

I think Miguel is always drunk/high or something...he always seems 'off' and has a tendency to 'stumble' ever so slightly when he walks. There is definitely something fishy with him and his brothers, but I haven't quite figured it out yet...

Quinn, too, is a mystery. Could HE be the serial killer or know who it is? Curious...

I never watched Buffy or Angel, but I do know from friends that Julie Benz was on at least one of them, so yes. lol

I'm loving this season so far. I have to admit, though, the whole pregnancy story isn't doing it for me all that much.

Has anyone read the books? I've read the first two, and absolutely loved them. Now that the third is out in paperback, I'm going to have to pick it up.

Also, with Doakes being gone this year, Dexter has to have someone that's still on his back. That particular role seems to have gone to Jimmy Smits this year who, I agree with many of you, needs to shave!

Maybe they'll get some different drama for her. All her drama seems to be who she's sleeping with. The first one tried to kill her and the second one abandoned her. She needs a different kind of drama.

That is weird thinking about "Dexter" and "Deb" dating

I have a feeling that Rita is going to lose the baby, I don't know why.

I also think Deb is going to hook up with the informant or Quinn or maybe both.

Miguel is definitely not a stand up guy. He let that innocent man get convicted, he's far more concerned with his image, climbing the AD ladder than actual justice. I think Dexter will end up killing him eventually. His brother just seems crazy.

Does anyone else love Angel? He seems a little unsure of his SGT status so far, he doesn't want to alienate his friends, it's very sweet.

Nope, I think she is pretty bad most of the time, she has rare moments when I think she is improving. Maybe it is her voice, she always sounds so shaky and nervous.

Nope. My DH can't stand scenes with her in them. I cringe a few times each episode. When I found out she and Michael Hall were dating I was shocked. But, hey her character and her personalities are probably vastly different.
