It was pretty good last night. Not disappointed with it!

I thought it was a let-down. No big news or drama--I didn't think they did a very good job at pulling the storylines back together. I was on the edge-of -my-seat at the end of last year and they made it aobut going to church, Carlos and Gabby, and random sex with random nephew.

and random sex with random nephew.
So, THAT's who he was! I missed that part and couldn't figure out who this strange man living in Susan's house was, or what his purpose was. Still really don't see a purpose to his character, other than the one you already mentioned.

Lynette is smarter than to randomly choose a church based on a dart throw... and then to ask questions during the sermon!?! WTH??? I usually wait until after the service to ask any questions I have. I cornered the bishop last night after confirmation to ask him a question that's been brewing inside of me for 28 years. OT, but at my confirmation, the bishop asked for us to name some martyrs. I named St. Joan of Ark. He told me that she wasn't a martyr. I told him that Sr. Elizabeth told me that she was and he told me that Sr. Elizabeth was wrong. :scared1: I was so embarassed. So, he explained that there were other factors dealing with her death that didn't point to her being a true martyr, or witness of her faith. I was happy that he chose to take the time to talk to me.

Anyway, I wonder when Carlos will regain his sight. It was funny when Gaby was putting obstacles in his path.

If you missed a part and want to see it again you can see it online here

Maybe that grave catherine was sitting at wasn't her hubby but the 'first' Dylan?

Totally agree that that grave was not the first husbands.

Since the "random nephew", Susan's relative, was on the porch and Katherine hit the first husband with a candlestick from the fireplace it does not explain the marks in the floor in the upstairs bedroom that her aunt died in....still think that has to do with the first Dylan!:upsidedow

I'm blanking out. I watched the show Sunday night and don't recall the scene where she was at a grave side. At what point did that happen?

Towards the end when she started crying in the woods somewhere. She looked at the ground and there was a cross marked with stones.

He was actually her cousin who is an accountant. He was there doing her taxes. Why he was hanging out for several days, I don't know. It would have been more believible if he was just there visiting.

Yeah, I had a big problem with Lynette raising her hand. Even if she's never set foot in a church I think she would still know that's not ok. And esp after Bree told her not to. Although it made a very good line for Orsen: "Did she just say *********?" :lmao:

Yeah I was curious about that too. The whole thing still doesn't add up. They need to work on that story more before people start forgetting that Julie said that Dylan wasn't the same girl.

Thanks for the reminder. I DO recall that. Must have been having a senior moment. Now that I remember, my impression was that it was a hand dug grave, as in hiding a body kind of grave.

Yeah, but only on DHW would they hide a body in a grave that they mark with a cross of stones.

Interesting point on the candlestick strike. I'd forgotten about the floor in the guest room.

This is the point referred to.

Goofy's friends is right. This is the point to which I was referring, Cass.

I just watched and I agree that it seemed a little disjointed. I am really interested to see what happens with the whole Dylan saga. I thought the cousin stuff was pretty funny, but somewhat pointless except just to provide Susan with some thought provoking questions. I also thought the Lynette stuff was funny, but I guess I was just in a simple mood. It all worked out ok. Can't wait for the next one!

Just in case anyone needs a recap:

After a long wait we finally see……

Katherine Mayfair standing in her living room window pondering over her life. She is thinking about her past marriages and mistakes that she had made in her past.
Bree, Susan, Gabby and Lynette show up at Katherine’s door with a basket of muffins and jam. Katherine wonders if it is because word had gotten out that Adam had left her. After a few tense moments of chit chat, Katherine opens the front door to allow the women to leave. So friendly that Katherine can be…. :flower3:
Next thing we see is Katherine out wandering outdoors in the woods and sitting on a rock and crying. The camera focuses on the ground to where there is a cross fashioned out of stones in the dirt. Wonder who is buried here? Could it be Wayne the first husband? Or maybe the real Dylan?

Sunday morning. Lynette is in her bathrobe retrieving her Sunday paper and observes her friends all leaving for church or synagogue (which don’t Jewish go to temple on Saturdays as a general rule?)
She then heads back into the house to where Tom and the kids are in the living room and announces that they should go to church. Tom wonders why and Lynette tells Tom that they have a lot to be thankful for. Tom tries to put Lynette off but when it becomes obvious that their children don’t know anything about God or Jesus, Tom agrees that they should go. :)
Next we see Bree and Orson toting their baby out the door on their way to church as well. Bree is surprised to see Lynette and asks where she is going. Lynette is wondering if Bree would take her and Tom and their family to church with them.
Gabby shows up at her Catholic church and runs into her priest. The priest says that he had been expecting Gabby for some time and that he was wondering how she was doing since the death of her husband Victor. Gabby says “Oh I am over that” and proceeds to see if the priest would be available for her next wedding.
She was wondering if Tuesday would be good for him. When the priest asks who this new man is, Gabby tells him Carlos. Gabby tells the father that her and Carlos had been friendly for months and that she does not do single well. Her and Carlos bumped into each other months ago and refell in love. The father then points out that Gabby would have been married to Victor in that time frame. :rolleyes1
The priest reluctantly agrees but has Gabby promise that she will stay married to Carlos for the rest of her life. Gabby agrees and tells the priest she will and if that didn’t work out, that she promises to at least change religions. :happytv:

Susan is showing receipts to her cousin the accountant. Tim is going to do Susan and Mike’s taxes.

The Sciavo family is in church with Bree and Orson. Lynette seems enthralled and sticks her hand in the air to ask a question. Bree is mortified. Lynette wants to know about God and why tornadoes and wars happen. The pastor tries to answer her questions and invites Lynette to Bible study on Tuesday. Lynette agrees.

Katherine and Dylan show up at Susans house. Dylan is there to see Julie and Katherine is there to apologize. Susan then introduces Katherine to her cousin Tim the accountant. Tim calls Katherine Mrs. Davis to which Katherine announces she hasn’t been called that in years, and if she knows him? Susan explains that “Timmy” is now all grown up. When Dylan announces that she will turn 18 next week, Susan gets uncomfortable and yells for Julie.

Edie shows up to see Carlos in the hospital. Carlos has bandages on his eyes so he cannot see Edie yet he recognizes her perfume. Edie gives Carlos a diamond bracelet while she is apologizing for the lost paperwork in the tornado. Edie tells Carlos that the bracelet is one that he had given her and that if he didn’t have the receipt, then maybe Cartier would have a record of it. He then confesses that the box said Cartier, but the diamond bracelet was actually from a swap meet. Edie is not amused and storms out. She then asks a nurse about how long Carlos would be blind. The nurse informs her that Carlos condition is serious and that she should talk to the Dr.
Edie then sees the nurse eating a sandwich and offers to take her out for lunch to “talk”.
Dylan is upstairs talking to Julie and shows her the scrap of burned paper that she had retrieved from the fireplace (last season, Katherine had tossed the note that Adam had found in the fireplace and burned it. Dylan saved the remnants)
The paper says ‘your father was murdered” Julie asks Dylan if she was sure that the late Aunt was sure and did her mother know that Dylan had found the paper.
Dylan says no and that she was going to go to Adam and ask him. Dylan then tells Julie that she is sure that her mother Katherine is the one that killed her father.

Gabby enters Carlos hospital room with the priest. Guess Tuesday was just too long of an engagement for her. She announces to Carlos that they will be getting married right that second. Carlos wonders why the rush, but that before they get started there was something he needed to tell her in private. Carlos then tells Gabby that he may not get his sight back for 3 months maybe 4 tops. She is surprised, but calls the priest in to perform the ceremony.

Tim, Susans cousin is really making himself at home in Susans kitchen. He then goes outside and starts talking to the soon to be 18 Dylan. Susan panics and sends Tim to the store for milk.
Lynette is reading a bible. Bree is telling Lynette that you aren’t supposed to raise your hand and ask questions in church. Lynette doesn’t understand why. :confused3
Bree then tells Lynette that she should try the gospel or Unitarian church. Bree is obviously bothered by Lynette's questions and thinks she should just listen and eventually her questions would just get answered by the sermons each week. Lynette gets up and walks away.

Dylan has left a message on Adam’s answering machine. She wants him to call her right away on her cell. popcorn::
Adam plays the tape for Katherine.

Katherine tells Adam to call her and find out what she knows. :rolleyes1 Katherine doesn’t think that Dylan knows anything and just has questions. Adam wants to tell her the truth, Katherine objects. Katherine tells Adam that she misses him and asks if he misses her and wants to come home. He tells Katherine that he is done and that he will call Dylan and that’s all.

Bree and Orson are saying goodbye to Tim. Orson is taking the baby, Benjamin to the museum and Bree is off to run errands.
Tim gets up from doing Susan’s taxes and calls Dylan? (or so we think). He tells her that he is home alone and invites her over.

Edie gloats to Gabby that she had heard that Gabby and Carlos had gotten married again yesterday. Gabby confirms and Edie then proceeds to fill her in on Carlos’s eye condition. She tells Gabby that she must be a hero and that Carlos condition is permanent. Gabby doesn’t believe Edie. Edie tells Gabby to check with the Dr and see what he says.

Susan and Julie have gone to visit Mike in rehab. Susan tells Mike that Tim has some questions about the taxes and calls her house to ask her cousin about them. Tim answers the phone and tells Susan that he is busy taking a nap. Susan can hear giggling and demands to know if there is a girl there. Tim denies this and promptly runs Susan off the phone. Susan panics and announces that she has to leave. :rotfl: She leaves Julie to stay with Mike.

Gabby is cooking dinner (canned BEEF STEW) She is mad and now spooning a ladle of soapy dishwater into the mix, while lying to Carlos that she is wearing a skimpy pink teddy. Carlos is standing in the doorway and starts walking towards the sound of Gabby's voice. She then opens the oven door and Carlos then trips over it. Next he trips over a chair left in the way. Gabby then walks Carlos right into a wall. Carlos demands to know, what's going on. She confronts him while calling him names about his blindness.
Carlos confesses that he shouldn’t have lied but that he was afraid she would leave him if she knew the truth. She then tells him that she loves him and that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Carlos asks her to forgive him.

Susan gets home and finds Tim in bed with not Dylan but Katherine!!! Tim tells Susan that he finished her taxes…:happytv:
Susan wants to know what is going on and gets mad at Tim. It then comes out that they had old feelings about each other and that Katherine had stolen Tims virginity back when he was 16. Susan announces that she is headed to the mall to buy some new sheets…:lmao:

Bree and Orson are back at church when their pastor asks about their delightful neighbor, Lynette. Bree is surprised that the pastor wasn’t annoyed by Lynette’s questions and is now on her way to find Lynette at the Catholic church in an effort to corral her back to the Presbytarian church.
Lynette tells Bree that she was staying there. They end up outside and Lynette tells her that she thought that Bree would have helped her with her faith, but now Bree didn’t have answers for her. Lynette is confused about her cancer and about why the tornado came and killed her friend, etc. and she was hoping Bree could have helped her to understand and help her.
Lynette goes back into the Catholic church.
Later Bree stops by Lynettes to tell her that she was sorry. She apologized for not being there for Lynette.

Susan and Tim are discussing Tim’s relationship with Katherine that happened many years ago. Tim starts to tell her all about the night back when he was 16. He had gone over to Katherines and he heard yelling coming from inside the house. When he looked in the window, he saw Katherine pick up a candlestick and hit her then husband with it. The guy had gone down hard. Tim told Susan that he thought the man was Katherines x husband. Susan said that she had not seen said ex husband lately.

Dylan is telling Adam that she has a feeling that something is just not right. She has been having weird dreams and that she didn’t remember things when people asked her things. She wants Adam to tell her the truth and now begs him to tell her. Adam tells Dylan that Katherine did not kill Dylans father.

Show ends here.

Goofy's friends is right. This is the point to which I was referring, Cass.

Oh right, that is a good point, the kid was on the porch looking into the living room, not upstairs in the spare bedroom.

I was surprised they showed Wisteria lane so clean and tidy just 2 weeks after the tornado, also Susan's pregnant belly has exploded in a very short time frame.
