I was thinking....all the papers flew away in the Tornado about the moneys Carlos has hidden. They were the only copies of all the info so that means they are broke.

However.....know that Victor is dead I wonder if Gabby will get all his money and the Yaught and all that was Victord...as his widow. :confused3

I was wondering this too. How are they going to have a new show with no houses?

maybe they will show all the houses fixed and state that 6 months have gone by since the Tornado and a lot has changed.....

Me too, it took me a little while to stop feeling a horrible feeling after watching Lynette scream.

Same here...my face looked like this after I saw the house

My brother pointed this out (may have been mentioned already) but Susan is pregnant and they gave her addictive pain medication at the hospital for her ankle??:confused3 Yes I know it's just TV but still:rotfl:

Yes I found that pretty silly even though they were trying to make a point about Mike. Do the writers think we are that dense or just wanted to see how many people would notice it.

I'm sure they will have to fight Victor's father for it.

I'm betting on Ida being killed. She prob. died while saving Tom, or one of the kids, which will make Lynette look even worse for letting the cat out (not that I blame her--I might have done that too). I also figure that the cat lived.

No kidding! I do'nt remember Susan burning Edies house down. :confused3 :lmao:

I think it was Season 1. Susan snuck in Edie's house I think to try and figure out if she was seeing Mike or something. I can't remember the exact reason. She knocked over some burning candles and ended up burning the house down.

I was under the impression from a conversation Gabby had with Victors father way back when they first began dating that Victor really isn't wealthy, it's his father that has all the money. It's quite possible that the yacht and a lot of his other assets aren't even legally his. Victor is not making a small fortune as a mayor of a small town, that's for sure.

We were at Universal Studios last week and the tram tour took us through Wisteria Lane where they shoot the outside shots for Desprate Housewives. The tour guide told us to look closley at the homes because of the tornado they were busy fixing them. He said to look closley to figure out which one was missing (at the time I couldnt figure it out). I have pictures where you can see Carlos and Gabbys house has damaged they have not fixed yet. They were working on the outsides of the houses while we were there. All the lawns were in pretty bad shape as well.
OMG!!!! We're going to spend a day in LA next month and I want to take a studio tour. That would be the coolest of cool to drive down Wisteria Lane, but it will probably be different by then. Booooooo. How was the rest of the tour?

I remember that. It had something to do with spite or revenge. How did she not go to jail for it?
Susan never turned her in. She felt bad because they were chasing each other around, and Edit got attacked by a bunch of bees or wasps, and ended up in the hospital.

Mary Alice said one person would lose a husband and everyone would lose a friend. What does that mean?

I know Victor died; he's the husband....but who was the friend?

Why wouldn't they tell us before the episode ended? Ugh!

I think it will be Ida. She'll die, and we'll find Lynettes family safe and sound.

Do you think Carlos is ok?

I thought it was Ida too but she was NOT everyone's friend....:confused3

Lynette should have left the cat in the carrier and took him into another room. That was scatter brained but then again morphine for a sprained ankle, even non pregnant is more so..;)

If you go take lots of pics for us! That'd be so neat.

That was a great episode. Lynette gave me chills. I didn't want it to end. The worst thing is not knowing when we'll get to see it. Even if it wasn't until sometime in January it'd be better then not knowing!:headache:

Thank you so much!!! I truly appreciate it. You are always there with wonderful recaps whenever we need you and we love you for it!

For those who suggested watching the episode on abc.com., I appreciate it but I am using dial-up so it would take forever. I do wish I could watch it though.

Thanks! and you are very welcome! :)

That's what I didn't understand :confused3 Keep the cat in the carrier and put 'em in a closet or somewhere safe...why roam free :headache: Heck...we all saw Sylvia get sucked up into it...and if it's suckin' a human, a cat is nuthin!

You know what's funny? I read an article a year or so ago about the Wisteria Lane set, and the cast commented on how the thing was about to fall over. If I'm remembering correctly, the houses were recycled from other, older shows.

I guess this is their way of starting over fresh.

Yeah, well that wasn't very realistic now was it??????? I mean sure Tornado can suck up people, but not like that. I mean if it would do that do her standing in the doorway, it would of done worse to the house.

The episode really bugged me, Tornados come and go a lot faster then that too.

I'm actually glad the cat got loose when it did, because if it had stayed in the carrier, well, that house was totaled, so I'm glad the cat escaped. And they needed the cat to get out for a reason to get Lynette out of the house.

I was trying not overanalyze the tornado too just to enjoy the story, but it was hard. No one gets ready for one the way they were--there's not that much warning and no hanging around all day in the basement waiting for it to come. Painters tape:rotfl: And I can promise you that if you are in the street that close to one, you are a goner! There's no way anyone would have been able to run away from it.
And the winds kept getting stronger--ever heard of the calm before the storm? That's tornados!! Scary how still it is. It wasn't realistic.

Yep! :thumbsup2

When Susan fell down the stairs (pregnant mind you) and they gave Edie the paperwork I lost all interest. Haven't we don't this before???????????? :rolleyes1

I tried to enjoy it, I wanted to know what happened, but I really just didn't want to see it.

That was my problem too. When there's an iminent tornado, you're glued to the tv, watching the news. They have down to the the minute technology that tells you where the cell is--whether it forms an actual tornado is another story. And it's a matter of minutes. Not "oh when the tornado comes later this afternoon, can we take cover in your house". You just get your *** in the basement.
