I don't think it was one kiss (re Susan) remember she was at his bedside and he awoke not remembering her. I am sure she probably never got over him.
And I think since the power is going off this week their will be an issue with the body in the freezer....
I like the cutie Lynette hired...
and I noticed Kayla in the mix of the kids? She is with them?

I loved last night's episode...especially this diaglogue between Gabby and Edy.

Oh yes! Suddenly, it has been decided that Edie should have a son from a previous marriage. The father has dropped him off for a month long visit with "Mom". Carlos has pointed out to Edie that whe wasn't being a very good mother just pawning the kid off on people and going on with her life. So since Carlos took a liking to the boy and was looking after him, Edie decided to try and get her hooks into Carlos.

Thanks. I figured it was something like that. It kind of came out of thin air. I remember she was a divorcee, but she had no mother interest at all before. Pretty rare for a women never to talk about a kid, even a women like Eddie. At least they would mention how her body was never the same after and be resentful.

Tonight we open with Edie lying on the bed reminicing about all of her past conquests. Ironically, Carlos is laying right next to her doing the same.the two of them sit up and you can just tell that the sex between them wasn't that great
They both decide that they are both too busy and maybe they would both have sex again---just not with each other!

Now we will visit Mrs McClutsky who is busy talking to her dead husband Gilbert. Lynette calls and needs her to come help with the kids.
We see Lynette telling Tom that she will hire an Asst Manager for the pizza place while Tom barks out suggestions about what she should do.
Mrs McClutsky arrives and Lynette hands her the phone wanting her to hide it from Tom.

Edie's son tells her that he overheard Carlos telling someone on the phone that Edie was bad in bed! Edie quizzes the child on just what else he overheard.

Ian and Susan are at the Farmers Market when Mike walks up. Ian can't get over how Mike is just everywhere they are these days.
While driving home, Ian suggests he is having problems at work and that he will have to spend more time in London and that the two of them should relocate there. Susan balks,sites the fact that Julie has school and that all of Susan's friends live here and in doing so swerves to avoid hitting a deer and instead plunges their car into the lake!!!
Amazingly, they both are able to swim out from under the car, but one hitch, Ian CAN'T SWIM!!! By coinkydink, Wonderboy Mike pulls up at the shore and dives into the lake pulling Ian to safety. "Mike, you saved our lives"
"Good thing I was following you" Mike quips to a soaked Ian.

Lynette is not having too much luck with the hiring process. Andrew is happy at the pizza place we hear, as he is "doing the beer delivery guy" so $8.50 an hour works for him Thanks for sharing that Andy.....

Lynette then speaks to a Rick Coletti.... who tells her all about his relatives that came over from Naples Italy. When she looks at his application, she discovers Rick is a 4 star chef!!

Tom is at home demanding a pill and for the kids to turn down the TV.
Lynette comes home babbling all about Rick. Tom wants to know all about him. Lynette tells Tom that Rick is a former cocaine addict and that she wants to hire him. Tom however, says NO.
Lynette says that she will keep looking and when she walks away, Mrs McClutsky hits ole Tom upside the head!!!

Gabby is now arriving home with Victor and tells him that she had a good time. She kisses him goodnight and goes in the house alone.

Susan is tempting Ian with sex. Ian gets into bed, and while rolling around with Susan, spots a Thankyou gift for Mike on the nightstand. He doesn't think a gift is necessary and is now sulking when he can't ...well, you know

Edie is now confronting Carlos about how dare he tell people that she is bad in bed!!! In the middle of the street no less.
Carlos at first denies it, but then admits it. Edie tells Carlos that she has had more thrills leaning up against her dryer!
He gets a few cracks in and wants to know if she is challenging him to a rematch. They run in the house and promptly throw themselves onto a table, breaking it and ending up in the emergency room telling the Dr the injuries were caused by BAD SEX , really bad.

Victor is up and running at his campaign rally. Gaby notices how women seemed to be affected by Victor so she decides to grab him and make a campaign contribution---in the back of his limo! They get to the limo and Gaby tears her clothes off and they do the nasty...
When Victor fails to call the next day, she gets angry.

Tom is demanding pie. Mrs McClutsky quits and takes all the brats up to the restaurant where they promptly put the place into an uproar.
Later when Lynette gets home, Tom apologizes and promises to fix things with the sitter. He then goes on to have the nerve to want Lynette to "service him" She ends up storming off.

Gabrielle is put out with Victor asnd is complaining to Edie and Susan. Toby, the carpenter that is fixing Gaby's water soaked closet, prances in and asks for a bottle of water. Gaby directs him to the fridge where he catches Edie's eye.
Edie asks Gaby about the sex in the limo. Gaby tells her that "of course it was a stretch limo, I am not a complete slut" She decides that since the sex is good with Victor, she is willing to tough it out, and then decides to show up at the next rally with Toy in the effort to make Victor jealous. It works as when she arrives with the new beau, Victor totally messes up with his answers to the people of Fairview.
Gaby starts necking with Toby and then gets up and the her and Toby leave, as Gaby decides that her ruse worked.

Lynette is going crazy at the Pizza Place as they are pretty busy. An obnoxious customer is now complaining about his Calzone and Lynette has forgotten all about Rick. The wannabe hired man approaches Lynette who apologizes for forgetting about him but that Tom is not wanting to hire a former drug addict. Rick tells Lynette that she can order drug testing for him every week if she wants to. Whne the crabby customer causes Lynette to sit down next to him crying that she just can't do this anymore, Rick steps in and grabs the faulty Calzone and takes it to the kitchen all the while giving instructions on how to improve the dish. Lynette hires Rick.

Susan appears in the doorway in a new nightgown thingie. She climbs into bed next to Ian and tells him that she has reconsidered moving to London. When Ian suggests that she sell her house though, Susan says NO that she doesn't want to sell as everyone she loves in on this street. Ian gets put out and they get into a fight. Ian brings up Mike again, to which Susan gets mad and tells Ian that she can't have this conversation one more time and that Ian doesn't trust her. She also tells Ian that the trip to London is off. She then throws on a robe, goes downstairs, grabs the Thankyou gift for Mike and goes over to give it him.
Mike makes small talk and then reaches over and kisses Susan.
Susan runs away back to her house where Ian apologizes for being a fool about Mike.

Gaby is coming down the stairs. There are flowers everywhere from Victor, who has been calling her house profusely apologizing. Victor shows up at the door with yet more flowers and Gaby tries to send him away. Gaby tells him that he hurt her and that he needs to worship her. Victor informs her that he is in love with her, to which Gaby seems surprised. As Victor turns to leave, Gaby kisses him passionately.

Edie comes down the stairs while Carlos is sitting on the sofa going through digital pics of their day at the Zoo. Apparently some person at the zoo thought that Edies son looked like Carlos and they were laughing that people thought they were a family. They end up back in bed together where this time Edie and Carlos both decide the sex was good this time.

Tom has apologized to Mrs McClutsky who in turns calls Tom a "chucklehead". She hangs up the phone talking to her dead husband Gilbert again.

We then see Carlos and Edie together.
Victor and Gaby
Susan and Ian
and then Mrs McCultsky opening up her freezer, pulling out another fudgecicle which had been lying in the cold next to what looks to be the deceased Gilbert!!! In all fairness , he does look well preserved....

Next week shows us:

A power failure up and down Wisteria Lane.
Gabby and Victor necking under a camera that seems to catch everything.
Gabby running out of her house with a yellow envelope filled with pictures.\A guy walking away and Gabby yelling at him calling him a blackmailer.
Rick coming on to Lynette
An obviously gay guy walking in on Edie and Carlos. The intruder then calls Edie a slut.
Susan telling Mike and Ian (who the two men are curiously sitting around what looks to be a small wedding cake) yelling that she has to make a decision. Later she claims to be having a little sugar rush....

All in all, a pretty good episode tonight!!

I forgot to add that I'm not so sure that the dead man in Mrs McClutsky's freezer is her dead husband Gilbert.
Whenever she is speaking to Gilbert she always looks up like he is in heaven and NOT at the direction of the freezer. Which leads me to believe that maybe the dead man is someone else.

Couple of things I noticed in tonight's episode. Mrs. McClusky was talking on a cordless phone during a power outage. And the camera in the elevator took some really clear photos considering there was no light and power. And ew, Carlos and Edie. Why couldn't they go to her house or a motel?

Tonight 4/22/07

We open with a power failure all over town!! We see how a few of the neighbors spend their time in the dark.
Mrs McClutsky is searching for ice now from her neighbors as she has that "grocery item" in her basement freezer you know...
While she is on the phone asking for ice, the old woman trips down the basement stairs and goes unconscious.

Meanwhile Susan is on the hunt for matches. Her and Ian are looking for a flashlight and Ian suggests that Mike might have one since he is a plumber. This surprises Susan as she says Lets just ask Gabby for one. Ian comes clean and says he wants to have Mike over for dinner.

Now we see Mike walking through the house looking for Carlos. CArlos is otherwise occupied with Edie. Edie hides behind the bedroom door while a suspicious Mike wonders what Carlos is up to

Edie tells Carlos that she is not comfortable "skulking around". Meanwhile she climbs out Carlos bedroom window!!

Lynette is at the Pizza Place having a few problems running the joint without power. Rick the new hire tells her that he can whip up a fabulous dish of pasta even without electricity. Lynette calls him a miracle worker and gives him a hug. Rick also suggests that Lynette upcharge the item which works out well as the patrons agree.

Gaby and Victor are necking in an elevator. (they are stuck due to the power outage) As tehy rip each others clothes off, suddenly the elevator moves and they are nearly busted by a couple of firemen Unknown to the two of them, the security camera on the elevator picked up all the action!

Mrs McClutsky is being wheeled out on a gurney by the paramedics. She is objecting though as that item in her freezer is still on her mind. When the electricity goes on during the struggle, she suddenly agrees to go to the hospital!
Not so fast old lady!! Seems a power surge has blown out your freezer cord!! Wut Wo!!!!

Gabby and Victor are sitting around the breakfast table when Victor asks Gaby to marry him. He is just practicing though and Gaby replies with a refusal. She doesn't want to risk things again as her divorce from Carlos kicked her but and she is nervous about things. Victor chokes down the frozen waffles Gaby has made for him.

Susan and Ian are unloading groceries from the car. Susan sends Ian inside with ice cream and then when he turns his back Susan runs over to Mikes to tell him about Ian's dinner invite. Susan wants Mike to refuse. They discuss a few things, one of them being Susans wedding. Mike sees Ian and at first appears like he will follow Susans instructions, but then says he is available for dinner after all.

Edie has found a place for her and Carlos to have some fun. It is a house that is on the market! Edie starts to attack CArlos who is nervous being in some strange house to have sex!! They then show us Edie and Carlos going at it several times on several different beds!!!

Lynette has brought Rick home to cook for Tom. Lynette tells Tom about the profit they are making at the restaurant making fancy dishes. Tom is surprised when the fancy food is appealing to his kids but objects because he just wants pizza served in the restaurant, not fancy dishes.

Gaby answers Victors door to a delivery guy with an envelope. He mistakes Gaby for the maid!! Afetr the boy leaves, she opens the envelope to see revealing shots of Gaby and Victor. She then chases the kid down the street and jumps him and starts beating on him! A cop car just happens to come by and they end up peeling Gaby off the kid and arresting the blackmailer who is a hotel worker. Gaby tells the cop that she will go in the house and turn up the radio if they want to smack him!!!

Tom and Lynette are arguing about the menu.
Parker Scavo is looking for a fudgesicle. Outside, one of the other kids suggests Parker go into the babysitters house (Mrs McClutsky's) and check out to see if she has any. The kid goes down the basement, finds a soggy box in the freezer and also sees the man's body!!
Parker heads on out to his brothers and tells them no fudgcicles.

Gaby is headed out for a run. On her porch is the morning headlines. Seems the cops released the pictures! Victor is upset as he is running a family values campaign. He would rather lose the campaign though than Gaby.

Susan is choosing food for the wedding with a caterer. The caterer assumes Susan is preggers though since they are in a bit of a rush with the plans. Susan tells her that she is not pregnant and that she just knows what she wants and to get on with the marriage. When the caterer tells Susan that she is single, Susan decides to fix the caterer up with Mike!

Parker is out of sorts and Lynette has noticed. Lynette takes the kid to visit Mrs McClutsky in the hospital. When Lynette leaves the room, Parker tells the old woman he saw the man in the freezer. Mrs McClutsky swears the kid to secrecy telling him that he is her favorite. She bribes him with the pudding Lynette has brought her.

Edie and Carlos are romping around in bed when they get walked in by a flamboyant gay realtor!! Edie and the other guy exchnage jabs at each other. When the other guy leaves, Carlos gets up and throws his clothes on. The two of them now get in a fight resulting in Edie storming out.

Mike shows up at dinner at Susan and Ian's. Susan introduces Mike to the caterer. Mike takes Susan aside and informs her that he is not interested in Maggie the caterer. As the evening wears on, Mike tries to go out of his way to turn Maggie off on him. He goes on and on about his prison life and all the times he has been locked up!!
Mike tells Susan that he loves her and that he wants to talk about it. Susan wants him to stop. He continues when the caterer Maggie and Ian come back into the room. The caterer has brought 2 cakes over for Susan to try. One is British styled with fancy swirls and icing that she places in front of Ian. The other is a white cake with buttercream icing that she places in front of Mike. Susan cannot decide on either cake or man though. She freaks out and blames her flipping out on a sugar rush.
As the evening goes on, Susan finds that she is torn between both men and tosses them both out along with both of the cakes.

Lynette is running the numbers when Rick presents her with Lasagna. He sits down while Lynette flips out for the dish of food. She is happy the restaurnat took in 3 thousand dollars that night and with that Lasagna dish they will take in $4 grand the next night. Rick tells Lynette that her hair look nice and she gets a little quiet.
Meanwhile, one of the kids shows Tom a news article about the restaurant. As Kayla reads the review outloud, Tom gets aggravated with the glowing report and asks the girl to stop reading.

Victor is holding a press conference regarding the pictures. The press wants to know who the woman is in the pictures. In an effort to save face, Gaby comes forward and yells that she is the woman in the photos. She introduces herself and tells the crowd that Victor had asked her to marry her and that she said yes. Victor is stunned yet pleased as Gaby goes on to overwhelm Victor with all kinds of compliments.

Mrs McClutsky comes home to a huge bad stink in her house. Turns out the woman is still laying in her hospital bed ....dreaming.

Edie comes in to find Carlos sadly watching the news on Gaby announcing her marriage plans to Victor.

Lynette tells Tom that she is headed to work as he sits on the sofa. When she gets to her car, she pulls down her hair. (Remember that Rick told her he liked her hair down )

Victor's press agent is relieved to see that Victor is now doing well in the polls since Gaby saved the day.

Next thing we see is Mrs MClutsky is standing in a jail cell

Note: I think that we are being led to believe that Mrs McClutsky is in jail due to someone finding the body in the freezer. I bet she is really in jail because she slapped the paramdic when they were trying to take her to the hospital.

Me too. I don't usually like her story lines, but I like this new guy. I haven't been interested in Susan in a loooong time and Lynette with the new chef guy is *yawn*. So I'm glad they have a good story with Gabby at least, and now hopefully Mrs. McClusky. I want Bree and Orson back!!!! Does anyone know if they'll be coming back before the end of the season?

Carlos is obviously upset about hearing Gaby's announcement on TV and will no doubt give his objections, but Gaby will find out all about him and Edie doing it all over town, and tell Carlos to get lost.
Eva Longoria was on The View confused3 ) and said she was getting married on the show as well in real life this July. So that she would have 2 weddings this year. I like Victor, but for some reason Gaby and Carlos really belong back together in my mind

Tom is being a real jerk regarding his restaurant. His way or the Highway. Glad Lynette is doing what she wants.

The producers did say that they were taping some of the final episodes from Marcia Cross' real home, so maybe they will somehow be in a couple more episodes this season.

I don't know, CE. They made pretty good line of events with showing us the body, then having the kid find it, then having the neighbor find it. The story is going to come about. She's not a main character so it doesn't make sense to drag out the mystery like they did with Mary Alice.

And I thought Tom was being a jerk in the last couple of weeks. But I feel bad for him now that his pizza parlor isn't working out. His dream was to have a neighborhood pizza parlor, not a fancy restaurant. Couple that with being injured and stuck at home and I can understand why he's upset.
