Why do they do this??? Why does everyone seem to take a 6 week break around this time?

Why do they do this? Because an unusually large number of people tend not to watch television this month, due to preparations and celebrations related to the holiday season. Also, the Nielsen ratings this month don't "count" towards the advertising rates the networks can charge advertisers, so a smaller number of viewers doesn't have a significant negative impact on revenues. Finally, and most importantly, there are 35 weeks in the television season and only 22 episodes, generally, so there need to be 13 weeks during which they present reruns, or they won't have enough episodes to last through May Sweeps.

I thought that she was going to make herself loopy before meeting Bree's guests. I'm curious now, too.

Gotta love Lynette! Sending the boys into the restaurant to drag out their half-sister! No one would care about a screaming girl with 3 brothers, but a child can't scream without drawing attention if the parent wants to remove her from a restaurant.

So, do you think the pregnancy will be Julie or Bree's daughter? That's a twist I didn't see coming!

Several pages back, there was talk about a rumored pregnancy on the show. People were speculating that it would be Julie.

I'm wondering now if that will be correct because in the previews for next week, she's talking about going on the pill and since Austin is also canoodling with Bree's daughter, I'm figuring that the pregnancy, if the rumor is true, will be her and not Julie.

Either girl's pregnancy will add angst to the show, but I think they could have more fun if it was Bree's daughter, whose name escapes me.
