Who figured out what Orson said when he was leaving the morgue? It sounded like it was another language, maybe French, and he mentions Monique??? I rewound my DVR but still couldn't get it and can't figure out how to turn on the darn closed caption on this TV. :confused3
He said "I miss you Monique" in French.

Thanks! Ok, so now we need to figure out who Monique is. We don't know who she is, do we? Sometimes this show is so :confused3

I am so upset that the baby wasn't theirs. I mean WTH?! My Dh kept saying, "Well I am sure she is still going to get the baby." I tried to tell him that they had no legal ties to it. Ugh I am really disappointed!

I honestly don't care about the baby. I don't think Gabby and Carlos would make good parents anyway. Notice they didn't seem too upset.

OK, so why was Tom the MC at the wedding and why did the police come looking for Bree so that they could talk to her husband? Why didn't they just ask for Orson? :confused3

I assumed she was another previous wife of Orson's.

It looked like they don't even get the baby (the other couple does.)

I can't say I like this twist. Poor XM. All that and she didn't even give them a baby.

Still, why couldn't gabby acutally get pregnant again.
:rolleyes1 I don't see her and Carlo's actually being over any time soon though.

I know someone posted that a main character is going to be pregnant this season and it's not Marcia Cross. It's going to be Gabby. It's been done on many other shows and happens in real life as well. You come to terms with not getting a baby and poof there you are pregos.

Oh, and I guess Orson did have another wife besides the one with the bird. Bree really knows how to pick um.

I enjoy watching this show. This season is just alright for me as of right now. I am sure it will get better. Some of the storylines are just crazy to me, but that is daytime - well isn't it primetime? :confused3

Everything I was thinking is stated above. Beth, great minds think alike!

Thanks for Orson's translation, Michboro!

I also want Mike to wake up.

After seeing the chemistry between Susan's daughter and Edie's nephew, I think she'll be the one pregnant within the next few episodes.

"It Takes Two"

Lime green with a royal blue bow? Hmmmm, seems the bride will be needing to rethink the bridesmaids dresses as Lynette, Susan and Gaby don't seem to like them! :happytv:
Tonight's episode opens with Bree's wedding plans being gone over with "the girls".

Susan making the dress train, Lynette suggesting the food, Gaby making suggestions on the music. Susan finally informing Bree that Lime Green dresses are hideous when Bree overhears Susan's comment about talking Bree out of marrying a "homicidal dentist".

Next we see Gaby and Carlos at the divorce attorney's office hammering out the details of their upcoming divorce. Seems Gabrielle has quite the laundry list of demands and belongings that she would like to keep including a string of pearls that once belonged to Carlos "Ma Mah": that will soon be seen playing center stage at the upcoming Bree/Orson wedding reception
:rolleyes1

Well, seems Nora (Tom's old affair partner/Mother of his newly found daughter) has possibly found the man of her dreams in "Turk" aka as "the jackhammer" :lmao: Seems they have a date down at the river in his van. At first Tom doesn't think Turk is a good choice for Nora as his appearance is a bit questionable, however when Lynette informs Tom that she hasn't made a certain look or fist in a week, he backs down and Nora is soon on her way.

Well, among Susan's talents that we never were privvy to before tonight was the fact she was a Nuerologist!! Yep, Susan er, Doctor Meyer is a brainiac doc. (Or at least, tonight is playing one on TV) Thanks to her first date with Ian, as when his comatose wife's parents arrive on the scene and look confused as to Ian's dinner companion, Ian decides it would be best to name Susan his wife Jane's new brain specialist.
When Jane's Dad starts asking questions about Jane's latest tests, Susan decides drawing a picture of a brain on a napkin would be the best way out of this-up until her cell phone supposedly vibrates it's way into forming Susans perfect escape from the restaurant!

Bree and Orson are dancing in the living room practicing for the wedding. Orson is concerned that Bree is questioning his innocence in his wife's murder.
Meanwhile the police and the coroner are talking about the condition of the body that was found in the country club dirt last week. Blunt force trauma to the head, DNA test being run, BUT the dental records will be of no use as all the teeth have been pulled from her head!! Hmmm, Orson happens to be a dentist.........................

Late at night Lynette opens the front door to find Nora crying on the front porch! Seems Turk and Nora had a fight at a pool bar and Turk ended up calling her a nasty name and then tried to hit her.
Nora insists though that her relationship with Turk is kaput and that she will need to spend the night....

Poor Edie. Can't even get a good nights sleep anymore! Next thing ya know the skimpy lingerie wearing sleepy head is out on the front lawn with a rifle!
Seems that Austin her nephew is trying to gain entrance to her abode climbing into a window.

Gaby is in her living room doing a few stretches when Xiao Mai aka "Charmay "(sorry, Charmay is gonna be it for me as it's either that or "SAM" and since that's not her name, we will stick with Charmay)
Anyway, Gaby demands to know just why the maid is out of bed. When Charmay tells Gaby that she is bored, Gaby makes some wisecrack about the maid killing a couple of hours by trying to put a pair of pants on.
Carlos now comes to the door and also wonders why the maid is out of bed as that can't be good for her. But, Carlos doesn't seemed too concerned about that as he wants to be friendly with Gaby as they are soon to be parents and they need to get along. Carlos then presents Gaby with the string of pearls that once belonged to his mother. He wants to know what Gaby will now do for him, so she decides to allow Carlos to be her guest at Bree's wedding which will happen to be at the Solices house.
Gaby then kisses Carlos on the cheek but then quickly makes a big production out of wiping the kiss off her lips! :rotfl:

Ian shows up at the hospital with flowers for Susan. He apologizes for putting her on the spot. Susan decides this relationship is getting to complicated and wants to cool it with Ian.

Meantime poor Julie is trying to get her homework done and the neighborhood is a rockin and a rollin outside. Seems a shirtless Austin is washing his motorcycle and blaring the radio at the same time. When Julie reaches down and turns the music down, Austin makes some crack about how Julie likes "it" meaning something other than the music. Julie appears unamused however, and proceeds to tell Austin that he's not that "hot" and quickly turns on her heels and walks away.

Tom finds Lynette sitting at the table working on Brees seating chart for the reception. Tom is shocked to see Nora on the plan and wants to know not only why Nora is invited but why she has to be seated next to his friends!

A roller clad Susan is retrieving her mail and observes Orson thrashing away at the Just Married sign with a knife on the back of his car. (he was cutting the strings and tin cans off the sign in all fairness)
Next thing you know Susan is up at the bank (still in rollers) and talking to that neighbor (played by Debbie Metcalf) who had interupted Brees dinner party with the newsflash that she thought Orson had murdered his wife.
Carolyn is a teller at the bank and Susan wants more info from her on what proof the teller has that Orson murdered his wife. She tells Susan all about the police searching Orsons house and she thinks that Orson must have something to hide.

Well, Susans dissaproval of the lime green dresses must have paid off as Lynette, Susan and Gaby are now dressed in burgundy dresses that look much better. They are all up at the church now and the ladies confront Bree as to if it is the right thing to do for Bree to marry Orson in light of the possibility that he may have killed his wife.
Bree calmly informs the ladies that she will be moving forward with the wedding and thats it.

Next we see Orson up at the altar and Bree walking towards him while the scene is draped in suspending music. Oooops! Hold it! Seems Bree has stopped the minister and taken Orson aside with the question "Did you kill your wife"? When Orson convinces Bree that he cleans his house when stressed, she seems okay with this information and steps back into place for the minister to continue where he left off....

Fast forward to the wedding reception. Poor obnoxious behaving Nora is not pleased with the seating arrangements as every guy at her table is a boring stiff. She is through with those losers and she has now decided that she will sit with Lynette instead! She walso starts eating off of Lynettes plate here as well.

On the other side of the room, a pearl wearing Gaby is adjusting Carlos tie.
Edie and Austin arrive where Julie again blows Austin off and walks away. When Susan greets Edie, Edie makes a nasty comment and walks on by her.
Susan makes her way over to Gaby and Carlos and asks when they will be reconciling. Gaby says "no way" to which Carlos is stunned. He thought that since Gaby was flirting with him and she was sending him mixed signals. Gaby isn't pleased and walks away but not before messing Carlos tie up again.

Ian is also at the wedding reception and pressures Susan for a relationship. Ian cant stop thinking about Susan but Susan makes up an excuse and walks away.

Gaby starts to hit on a waiter who informs her that he has a boyfriend. This fails to stop Gaby from carrying on however, as she has a plan to make Carlos jealous.
Carlos then asks for a tequila straight up and when Lynette overhears Carlos asking another guy if there were any single women at the party, she tells him to come over to her table where there may be some hotties there.

Bree and Orson make their first dance on the floor. Bree thinks that Orson looks so serious when he tells her that he is just trying to remember his steps. He also doesn't like that Bree had to ask him that all important question earlier during their vows.

Tom comes up behind a for now contented Lynette. Seems Lynette brought 2 lost souls together by pairing up Carlos and Nora!! These 2 are now cutting up on the dance floor with Nora's dree zipper half down and Carlos half drunk!
Gaby is demanding to know who Nora is and why is she even at the wedding?
Lynette is convinced though that the pairing will not be pinned on her as they are all just guests at the reception..... Not so fast, as Nora then tells Gaby that it was all Lynettes idea!! Gaby then lets Lynette know that she will be taking this matter up with her later! :rotfl2:
Gaby now turns her fury onto Carlos and wants to know why he is embarrassing her in front of their friends? She then tells Carlos that he is no longer welcome in her house, to which Carlos then tells Gaby that he is taking the pearls back and in ripping them from Gabys neck, the pearls then fall to the floor. Gaby then drops to the floor in an effort to grab as many of the pearls as she can.
Just then Charmay comes in and her water breaks all over the dance floor!
It just might be time!

After the commercial, we are back at the reception where Tom has the microphone and is trying to get people up on the dance floor to start a conga line! Ian has now decided this would be a great time to make a toast, but when he makes the toast it is vey obvious that he is really talking to Susan about his feelings.
Susan then responds with a toast of her own. In this toast she tells Ian in so many words that he should just walk away... Ian then rises and makes another toast to which all eyes are aimed at Susan and Ian now.

Lynette has arrived at the hospital where Gaby is thumbing through a magazine. Lynette has brought Gaby a change of clothes and wants to make ammends with Gaby as Lynette realizes she is upset about Carlos and that Nora person dancing at the reception. Lynette cofides to Gaby about just how miserable she (Lynette) is that this Nora woman is in her life and how depressed the whole situation makes her.
Gaby tells Lynette that some marriages are meant to last and some are not.

Meantime, back at the reception Bree gets a visit from a police detective. The detective wants Orson to come down to the morgue an identify a body.

Back at the hospital, The maid is in bed with her legs in the stirrups groaning over the pain. Gaby is to her left and Carlos is on the right giving their support. Gaby is actually being nice to Carlos and is pretty excited as she tells Carlos to grab the camera to film the birth. Carlos looks through the camera, shakes it, annouces "Man, we gotta get the color fixed on this" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: before he looks up and sees what Gaby has already seen..... seems their newly delivered baby has a tan!!! :happytv:
Whut Wo!!!
:confused3 :rolleyes1

Laughing our way through the comercial break we try to compose ourselves for the next scene.

Gaby and Carlos are back in the waiting room where a befuddled doctor from the clinic is trying to worm his way out of the whole situation. Gaby is having none of this talk though and is letting this guy have it!

Over at the morgue, Bree and Orson are with the police and the coroner. The coroner lifts the sheet where Orson discovers that it is not Alma on the gurney. Carolyn has also shown up and announces that thsi means nothing and that Orson is still a killer. Bree kicks her out of the room. Bree just wants to leave and get back to their waiting guests at the reception. As Orson leaves he says "I'm sorry Monique" in French.
I know that other posters have said he said "I miss you" but I think it was "I'm sorry". I will double check again though just to be safe!

Although je nei desole would be a form of I'm sorry, so just call me confused here!
The final scene has Gaby and Carlos arriving back home talking about their situation and how they feel. Carlos says now that there is no baby it will make the divorce easier. He then says he will see her at the mediators office. Gaby exits the car and walks up the door of her house quietly.

Closing scenes show Lynette thinking about her marriage, and the top of the wedding cake depicting the cake couple not looking at each other as this is the narrator stating this is the key to a happy marriage. Oh and Susan and Ian are seen dancing in the background while the waiters clean up the room.

Next weeks previews show Bree exclaiming to Orson that her son is eating out of dumpsters while Orson mentions something about non refundable tickets.
Susan and Ian are in a romantic cabin somewhere. Wild Nora flagging down a trucker while a distressed Lynette looks on. A guy that looks like John lifting a nightgown clad Gaby off a bed because "his fiancee is on her way up"
:rolleyes1

Orson's accuser is 'Laurie' Metcalf, she was Roseann's sister on the 'Roseann' show.

Yeah. Glad to see someone asked about what Orson said leaving the morgue. I took 2 yrs of French and had NO IDEA!! :rotfl2:

WAKE UP MIKE!!!!! Susan is just too weird & unbelievable w/out him. W/ him she becomes kid of cute.

I thought Tom was GREAT as the MC. He ws the best of the entire show last night.

Anyone else think it's kind of weak?

There were a few funny scenes last night with the pearls falling, the maid losing her water, and the line about the camera color needing to be fixed, but yes I do find it a little lame that there is now 2 supposed wife murderers (Paul Young and now Orson)
Edie doesn't really even have a part anymore and just seems to be an extra with an occasional line or two.
Let's bring in another shirtless wonder character type as well, in an effort to maybe get some more female viewers. (Austin)
And I liked Lynette better when she was tougher. I hate the whole Nora storyline altogether.

Nora is aquirky interesting character. I don't like her up against Lynette. It seems so out of character for Lynette to be "beaten" especially by a half-wit floozie (sp?).

I agree with the your asessment of the high points. Isn't John the gardner coming back?

According to my closed captioning, Orson said "Tu me manques, Monique". I couldn't find a complete translation, but "manques" translates to "missed".

OK, black babies aren't even black at birth!! Was I the only one who found that ridiculous?? And compared to how upset Gaby was with the miscarriage (the sniffling with the balloon) and when the other mother took Lily back - they took this baby news fairly well.

I think Tom was emceeing because they threw the wedding together in two weeks and maybe couldn't find anyone else?

I thought that, too, but since I've never been present at the birth of an AA baby, I didn't want to spout off as gospel. :teeth: I remember reading some book about a white girl giving birth to her black BF's baby. They wanted to make sure that the father saw the baby when it was first born so he wouldn't know that he had a black GC... before she ran off with it.

Did they have a band or a DJ? Wouldn't the DJ or band leader be the MC? I thought they had him do it just to give him more lines in this episode. Maybe it's in his contract?

My neighbors are black and their son at 16 months is still a lot lighter than them. He was definitely not dark at birth.

:confused3 They had a band....maybe one without a good emcee/lead singer...? Because all the good bands are booked more than 2 weeks out....? I don't really know, I'm trying to make up an answer. :lmao:
