Nice an prompt this week!!!!!!
Tonight we start with being reminded of Susan's bad luck. How all the ladies on Wisteria Lane are her buddies and always are there for her.
Bree has offered for Julie and Susan to stay in Andrews room while the house gets rebuilt.
Even Susan's buddy Orson has shown up to help take out burned out garbage from the fire. When Susan asks her insurance man when she can expect a check, he informs her it will be a while since the fire department has ruled ARSON. Susan is surprised and wonders who would want to burn her house down. Fast forward to Edie standing on the curb watching from across the street.
Felicia is raking her lawn and while doing so observes Zach taking out the trash. She takes this time to sneak in the Young house through the back door and rifles through a few cupboards finding some keys. As she is grabbing the keys, Paul enters and demands to know what she is doing there. Felicia quickly grabs a bag of flour claiming she is baking cookies and leaves. Paul tells Zach to throw all the food out just in case she did anything to it.
Edie is on her porch changing a lightbulb when Susan approaches and asks Edie if she burned down her house. " Yes I burned down your house you sleazy little *****"
Susan is shocked and wants to tell the police, however, Edie points out that there are no witnesss to her confession and too bad.
Gaby and CArlos are eating when Charmaine the maid gets a little pekid. Carlos asks her if her ****s are tender? Gaby and Carlos now think she may be pregnant and so off they all go to the Doctors. Tests are positive but the Dr thinks it will be a difficult pregnancy.
Bree is fixing up Andrews room for Susan and Julie and Brees dd Danielle wants to know why her mother is acting so happy. Danielle then informs Bree that she had forgotten her 17th birthday that happened to be 6 weeks ago.
Danielle also wants Andrews room siting that because Bree forgot the birthday, she now has no room to negotiate this matter. What a brat.
Tom is packing his suitcase for a sudden trip to Atlantic City. Lynette tells Tom that she found out that he had been to Atlantic City 3 times that she knew of and he responds with some story that he has been interviewing there and it was supposed to be a surprise. He even wants to show her a business card which he then quietly tucks into the bag which raises Lynettes curiousity further.
Carlos is vaccuuming for Charmain since she is under the weather with morning sickness. Carlos has also boxed up all Gaby's hair products since the smell bothers her as well.
Bree has been busy making a huge balloon sculpture for the birthday party that she is throwing for Danielle. She has also arranged for a juggler and a fajita bar for the party. Danielle thinks this is all too much and just wants to have a few friends over. Bree gets manic and starts slicing all the balloons with a pair of scissors.
When Susan walks in to see the Balloon Bashing Bree
she asks Bree if she is okay.
Meanwhile, over at the Applewhites, Matthew is still locked in the basement and his Mother is sitting outside the locked room. Matthew tells her he jsut wants to have a normal life to which Betty tells him she is enraged and he is better off locked in there right now.
Susan calls Mike and asks him to help "wire her" so that she can get Edie's confession on tape. He shows her what to do and also offers for Susan to move into his guest room if she wants to. He tells her they can be friends again.
Lynette has decided to follow Tom to Atlantic City. She leaves the kids with a sitter and off she goes.
Bree is in the kitchen going nuts over the birthday cake frosting. When Bree finally brings out the cake, she yells STOP and panics as one candle is unlit and leaves the room. When Danielle's friend swipes her finger in the edge of the cake, Bree flips out and demands to know who did it. She starts harrassing all the girls at the party causing one of the girls to knock the cake off the table where Bree again loses it!!!! Danielle rushes from the room and Bree calmly tells everyone to jsut leave the cake there and she would clean it up later.
Seems the maid Charmain has taken Carlos up on the offer of the Master bedroom bed, which doesn't sit too well with Gabrielle. Carlos thinks the guest room is not comfortable enough for her as well as the fact that the bathroom in the guest room is too far down the hall.
Carlos ends up in the twin guest bed while Gaby sleeps on the couch.
Danielle goes looking for Matthew in the dark and finds him in the basement lock up. He tells her why he is in there and tells her to be careful. She promises to get him out.
Susan finds Bree cleaning up cake in the middle of the night. Bree confides to Susan what is bothering her and tells Susan that she left Andrew by the side of the road. Susan tells Bree she is worried about her and wants her to go to bed. Susan offers to help Bree clean up the cake.
Tom is in Atlantic City and decides to call Lynette on his cell phone. Just so happens Lynette is sitting directly across the street in a car watching him. Tom wants to talk to the kids. Oh oh.!!! Next thing you know, there is a car alarm going off and Tpm is confused as to how he can hear the alarm outside of his phone as well as through the phone!!!????
Lynette rushes him off the phone with some lame excuse about Ed.
Felicia calls 911 to report her neighbor Paul Young has been threatening her. When the operator tells her that there is nothing they can do since he is not there bothering her now, she gets mad and tells the operator she will not live in fear and will now take matters into her own hands.
Susan goes over to Edies with her wire in place. Edie is eating popcorn and starts babbling with a mouth full of corn and Susan wants her to speak clearer. When Susan steps closer in to Edie, Edie surmises she is wearing a wire and rips Susans shirt and the two of them start screaming and running after each other. When Edie catches up to Susan and pounces on her, Susan's tape recorder falls to the ground. Susan and Edie start westling under a wasps nest and the wasps start attacking Edie.
Lynette has followed Tom to a house in Atlantic City and is hiding in the bushes out front watching him. He goes in and is talking to a woman who's face we don't see. She hands him a glass of wine or something and then the two of them are seen going upstairs. Lynette slips back into her car and puts her head down on the steering wheel. (another emmy nod for this performance) It is sad though.
Gabrielle has now had enough of the maid and her morning sickness and Gaby wants the Master bed back!! So she does what any ratioal girl would do in this situation and gets her lawn sprayer out and loads it up with her perfumes and starts spraying away in the bedroom!!
Tom has now returned from his trip to an unusually quiet house. When he comes across the sitter, Mrs Mc Clutsky, he asks her where Lynette is as she is not answering her cell phone. Mrs McClutsky informs Tom that Lynette knows about him and she has left town with his kids and the dog.
Susan visits a very swollen Edie in the hospital. Susan wants to get Edie to say that Edie saw a vagrant start the fire and Susan will destroy the tape.
Edie flips and promises to destroy Susan when she gets out of that hospiatl bed. The makeup was too funny, even one of Edie's eyes was swollen shut and she looked like a one eyed freak!
Susan leaves and comes home where Mike wants to know if she wants to move in his house with Julie. Susan turns him down for now but offers coffee in the future as soon as she gets her house set up again.
Carlos wants to know why Gaby is giving the maid a hard time. Gaby accuses Carlo9s of being more attentive to the future baby than to her. Next thing ya know, Carlos is sharing a roast beef sandwich with Charmaine on the couch watching movies. Hmmmmmmm.
Betty goes downstairs to give Matthew breakfast. As she is unlocking the door, Danielle is waiting in the wings and knocks Betty out with a crowbar.
Bree finds a note from Danielle announcing that Matthew and her have run away and that living with Bree was like living in a prison.
Bree is next seen signing herself into a Physchiatric Hospital and tells the admitting nurse she is about to have a nervous breakdown.
Paul Young slips and falls in his house. When he stands up he sees blood all over and the police pulling up in front of his house. While out in the garage, the police look in the window of Pauls car and see 2 human fingers in there.
They promptly arrest him and cart him off to the pokey.
Tom is shown sitting in the dark.
Gaby is sitting in a easy chair alone watching Carlos talk to Charmaine.
Bree is laying in a bed thinking about her daughter.
Swollen up Edie is still laying in the hospital room.
Susan is standing on the darkened street.
Meantime, Felicia is checking into a dusty cabin telling the cabin manager she likes dropping off the face of the earth occasionally and holding out her mangled, bandaged hand for the keys.
