I actually felt bad for Gabby tonight. That was very sad.

But I was confused about Danielle and Betty's other son. I was thinking that he was trying to set something up to get rid of Danielle since she was acting all needy. But, then they were in cahoots. So, I'm still a little confused.

I think they were trying to create a new crime situation, so that the brother would be put away, and the remaining brother and Betty wouldn't also get in trouble for harboring a criminal.

It isn't as good as it was last season. too much going on , I think. What is Lynette going to do and why in the world did she get herself into that situartion---she usually has better sense than that.

Last nights episode opened with Karl finding prayer. Apparently he is fond of the "DEAR JANE" notes to his former lovers and with Edie there was no exception. Well, maybe one:

Edie woke up!!! After finding Karl trying to escape in the driveway, she lets him have it and turns and grabs a rake that was conveniently leaning against the house and starts to come at him!
Only problem was this was Garbage pick up day and Karl slammed his sports car into the oncoming truck!!!! Wut Woe!

Bree is at her AA meeting and gets a little too cozy when it was over with her Sponsor. The fun gets interupted when the Sponsors "Sex Addiction Sponsor" Claude shows up and tells Peter to cool it with Bree-ending all her fun. (Personally, I find this storyline stupid)
Lynette's boss sends a co worker out to inform her that she has to work late. At the time Tom and Lynette were on the way out the door with their sleeping kids in tow, when Tom asks the co worker Jerry to carry one of the boys-the boss mistakes Jerry for a father and excuses him from the late night meeting.
The Kleenex is flying at Bree's house as Edie joins Gaby, Lynette and Bree for a cryathon over Karl. When Susan arrives to find Edie in shambles, she sits down to hear Edie announce that her and Edie are now like "sister' that have something in common: Karl. The now relabeled "Scum Sucking Ho Bag" Susan is a tad uncomfortable as Edie drones on about Karl, and even tries to distract the others from the conversation-which doesn't work.

Gaby and CArlos decide to take baby Lily out for a walk. When the babies biological father Dale Helm appears, Gaby decides it would be great as now he can sign the adoption papers. This Dale is a real character who has been watching the old flick "Fast Times from Ridgemont High" a few too many times.
Gaby and Carlos get uncomfortable when this Dale claims that he wants the baby back and start to run away from this guy. Dale has brought along another dimwit who wants Dale to grab the baby and run.

Betty Applewhite has sold her house. Matthew and Danielle get into a fight over Matthew moving away. She proclaims her love for him and Matthew tells her he will think up a plan to prevent the upcoming move.

Lynette is back in her office on her computer Im'ing with Tom who is announcing that he is horny and wants to know when she will be home. When Lynette drops something and bends to pick it up, her bosses IM comes up and she doesnt notice. In the meantime she sends a risque response to Tom and the boss intercepts it by mistake. he is envious of Lynette and Toms writing style and asks her for advice. Well Lynette offers her advice.

Bree pays a visit to Claude in his donut shop and wants to discuss Peter. She gets no where and leaves, but not before running into 2 cops coming in the door and tells them about the drugs Claude just confiscated from a previous customer.

Susan and Edie are sorting through books that Susan has brought over. Susan is trying hard to convince Edie to go to a movie when Edie gets suspicious.Edie wants to go tie one on instead.

Peter is surprised to hear that Claude got busted for the cocaine posession. He is now worried about who will be his sex sponsor. Bree volunteers for the job.

Edie and Susan are drinking at a bar when Edie picks a fight with the waitress. Edie has decided that waitress is the girl that Karl is shacking up with! Susan is dying to fess up to Edie but hasnt worked up enough nerve.
When Susan sees the said waitress approaching the table again, she tells Edie that the waitress just spit in her wing order causing Edie stick out a leg and trip her! While the wings and the waitress are on the floor, Edie then pounces on her (just after she hit her in the face) causing all the other waitresses to join in on the fun.

Matthew asks Caleb who he will miss when they move. Matthew tells Caleb that Danielle told him she was going to miss Caleb and tricks Caleb into going to see Danielle.

Gaby shows up a school assembly looking for Dale. He sees her asnd pushes her out the gymnasium door where Gaby tries to bribe him with a car or money. When he bolts from the room. Next thing we see is Gaby marching in and grabs the mike and starts gabbing at the students about getting strippers pregnant and ruining the football season and all that, Dale must have had 2nd thoughts as Gaby gets her papers signed.She goes home and shows them to Carlos.

When Tom and Lynette are at the office the next day, Ed tells Lynette about his conversation with Fran his wife. Lynette helps Ed with what to say. When Ed has to take a conferance call, he tells Lynette to take over, which she does only to get slightly carried away on the IM's.

Bree gets a phone call from Peter who wants her to come to a party and get him as he has locked himself into the bathroom. He tells Bree that it is dangerous to get involved with him but she tells him that she can handle it.

Oooops! Semms Ed is in trouble with his wife. Seems Lynette told her in an IM that she should bite his nipple off and that she also realized that Ed had a friend sending the IM's and that he had now promised his wife that he would fire Tom because of this. Lynette reminds Ed that Tom is under contract and that he cannot be fired, but Ed does it anyway.

Edie shows up at Susan's being all friendly. She hugs Susan and observes a car driving by and runs away to greet the driver. Turns out said driver is a Private Detective taht Edie has hired to figure out who the "ho" is that is sleeping with Karl.

Matthew wakes up Caleb and tells him it is time. Caleb shows up at Danielle's house and scares her. Bree hears Danielle scream and goes into her room with a gun and instructs her to call the police. Bree confronts Betty about Caleb and wants him put away. Matthew promises to have him taken care of.
Betty stoically sits there and tells Bree that she understands what needs to happen now. Matthew in the meantime shows up at Danielles and it is clear they want to be together.

When Betty comes back from shopping, her and Matthew discuss Caleb. Betty will not institutionalize Caleb. She then hands Matthew a medicine bottle with Phino barbitol in it and tells Matthew they will put just a few extra drops into his food...........

The police arrive on Gaby and Carlos doorstep and want the baby. Gaby objects when the baby is taken from her and handed to the birth mother. She runs out the door and yells at the mother that she wants her baby. The mother grabs the baby and climbs into the back of the car Britney Spears like as they drive away Gaby is restrained by Carlos. a real tear jerker here as Gaby is very upset and crying.

Next week will be the first of the 3 remaining episodes of the season.

I tend to agree with you. I do still watch, but I think the story lines are just getting a little out there. I can't imagine anyone as prim and proper as Bree getting involved with a sex addict, for one.

When the show first started, it seemed to be more of a drama with a slight comic twist which I liked. Now it seems to be the opposite, a comedy with a slight dramatic twist. The story lines have strayed so far from the original, and seem to bounce all over the place.

I felt somewhat sorry for Gabby because of the situation with the baby, but I thought Eva's performance in that scene was aweful, not realistic at all, very forced.

However, with all that said, I'll be tuning in next week to see what happens

ITA with that comment. I felt like I wanted to cry because it was a sad situation, but I wasn't as moved as I would have been if her acting was more realistic. I don't think she did a good job.

I won't be wacthing, as we will be at WDW!

However I will be wacthing when I am at home.

I think the saga of Gabby and the baby is not over. I think everyone could see this day comeing from the start. I don't like they named the baby Lily (that is my baby's name.) My SIL and BIL just adopted a baby from a young mother, no father named (name of father not known.) I am glad they don't wacth this show.
