ack is right.........i found out last night. Drat it anyway. :sad2:

I am the only one here that is glad to here it is not on tonight. It is late here and I just remember today is Sunday and I missed it. I was studying for my exams.

I was so bummed because normally on Sunday nights I'm exhausted from doing hours of lesson plans earlier in the day and I have to go to bed early for school the next day, so I can't really enjoy it. I was thrilled (since we're on Spring Break this week) that I was going to get to stay up late, enjoy the show, no worries...and then I see that it's not on- BUMMER!

Remember the good ol' days, when TV shows were aired with consistency? Like Ed Sullivan, Sunday 8 PM, That Girl, Thursday 8 PM, followed by Bewitched at 8:30. You can't count on TV shows being on anymore. :confused3 The more they do this with Desperate Housewives, the more I lose interest. Can barely remember what happened on the last episode when they start skipping weeks, so I don't get all psyched about catching the next one.

For whomever was asking about when they would bring back Andrew's events with Mama Solice:

They ran a DH commercial during Home Makeover tonight and during the previews for upcoming episodes Bree, Andrew, and a man and a woman I didn't recognize were sitting at the dining room table and Bree blurted out 'well, he hit one of our neighbor's mothers with a car' and the people ask what happened to her and Bree says 'she's dead.'

Did anyone else see this? Who were those people?

Yeah, but taking 1970 as an example, next week would have been the season finale of Bewitched. And it would have been almost a full five months before the next new episode. Folks say they'd prefer that, but come August they'd be singing a different tune. :rolleyes1

i did see that!!! i ride the exercise bike while watching DH, so as to not interrupt my routine, i watched EHM instead...and yes!! i saw the commercial for next weeks new episode and saw Bree mention Andrew hit and running and killing Mama Solice!! :yay: so glad they didn't "forget" about that!!!! Can't wait.... :goodvibes

Well, another great episode:

Tonights episode starts with our introduction to Parker Schavo's teacher, Mrs. Louisa Pate- now here's a piece of work. Apparanetly, she has a penchant for reminding parents how awful their kids are. Lynette has this misfortune today when Mrs. Pate informs her that Parker's new obsession is ******'S :lmao: (I would use that tacdky line, "poor kid, doesn't know what he's getting himself into here, but I will refrain myself :rotfl: )

Next we see Andrew and his Mother Bree at the courthouse. Here we also get to meet Carol Burnett- who is playing Bree's stepmother Elenor Mason. Her father, Henry is in the Judge's chambers arranging for a postponement. Seems Daddy knows the judge as he has been an attorney for 45 years. Bree's parents want Bree and son to work things out on their own.

Carlos and Gabrielle are holding their new daughter "Lilly" in front of the judge. Their attorney is trying to convince the Judge to allow them to raise baby Lilly. The Judge eventually agrees-giving the Solices temporary custody until the teenage natural father of Lilly gets back from his Ft Lauderdale Spring Break :lmao:

Parker is coloring and asks Lynette about his new obsession and by the way, where do babies come from? Lynette tries to get the kid to wait for Daddy to egt home from his business trip in just a few days. When Parker informs her that he will just ask an older kid, she decides she will have to do the dirty deed. :guilty:

Meanwhile over at Susan's camp, she has gone over to visit Carl who is draped in a towel. Hew tells her that he will dump Edie if she will take him back.

Paul Young walks out his front door and does a flip on the stairs. Felicia comes out from next door to announce she heard a terrible fall. Paul mentions the shortening on his steps causing the fall-where she then responds with "That is used for baking" and turns away and walks back into her house. Clever broad. :teeth:

Lynette,Bree and Susan are over at the Solices admiring the new baby. Gaby announces that she will hire a nurse and a nanny to help, in which Carlos balks. The girls leave when Gaby decides she needs to talk sense into Carlos.

Bree's dining room is the next scene. Her parents and Andrew and Bree are sitting around the table when her Dad wants Bree and Andrew to talk and forgive each other. Grandpa wants Andrew to forget aboput emancipation, andrew tells them Bree hits him, where Bree then announces that Andrew ran over a neighbor's Mother and killed her!

Susan and Julie are going to the movies. Julie and Susan have words when Julie announces she will not be going to the movies. Susan then goes alone where she spots Mike with another girl. She jumps up and moves down the row to a guy sitting there alone and asks him to pretend he knows her. ("Orsen Hobbs" played by Kyle McGlaughlin looks to be a possible new character) But alas, old Orsen seems to already have a date, so Susan is out of luck here.

Zach and Paul are having a cookout. Uh oh. Seems someone substituted the lighter fluid for gasoline. There's Felicia raking up her lawn. Paul knows she is trying to aggravate him now.

Gaby and Carlos having a fussy new baby at 2 am. They proceed to argue over just who should give up the beauty sleep to tend to her. Gaby relents and pawns the child off on the maid-promising her that she won't have to do windows in return for the favor.

Eleonor is doing up her wig when Bree and her have a chat on whether Andrew should move back to Rhode Island with the Grandparents. Here we see that Bree and her Stepmom have a somewhat rocky relationship. Mom announces to Bree that Andrew hates her and they will be taking him.

Gaby gives her maid a gift certificate to a spa because she has been taking care of the baby. She again hands the maid the baby and walks out the door.

Bree looks out the window to see Andrew and his boyfriend Justin fighting. When Andrew speeds away, Bree asks Justin about the relationship. She ends up striking a deal with Justin on brainstorming on just how to prevent Andrew from moving.

Lynette comes home to her babysitter Mrs McClutsky. Said babysitter informs Lynette that Parker asked to see her ******. She tells Lynette that she should shame her son about sex so that she won't have to spend another afternoon talking about her "woo woo" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Orsen the dentist shows up at Susans. Seems Suzy left her wallet on the movie seat and he is returning it. She tells Orsen her life story about her rotten love life. She also mentions that she is having feelings about Karl again and Orsen gives her advice to handle it.

Gaby goes to meet Bree for lunch thinking that the maid was watching the baby. When Bree mentions she spotted said maid at the spa, Gaby panics and speeds home to see the baby left alone in her bassinett. Good thing she got there, as no more than 2 minutes later, Carlos gets home. Gaby is quick though, as she has managed to get that baby in a sling and is pretending to be doing yoga by the time Carlos is able to climb the stairs to their room. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Karl wants SuzyQ to give him music advice. They argue when she says he hasnt changed. She leaves.

Paul Young and his son Zach awaken in their home to find workers tenting the house for termites!! :lmao: Seems Felicia has mistakenly gave them the wrong address :confused3 HA HA. Paul loses it and proceeds to wrap his hands around her neck! :lmao: Felicia wants all the neighbors to witness that Paul tried to choke her.

Lynette is frustrated with Parker and tells him to stop bothering people about
their woo woos. She decides to get him a puppy.

Karl shows up at Susan's and informs her that the wedding to Edie is off. He tells Susan that she was right and that he is a coward. She invites him in for a bottle of wine.

Bree takes some of Andrews stuff downstairs. Her DAd sees the box of **** porn and asks Bree if Andrew is gay. Eleonor wants to talk to Henry in the kitchen about this.
The next morning when Andrew is looking for his Grandparents, Bree shows him a letter while telling him they already had left without him. Grandpa has cut out the trust fund as well and Andrew is not happy. :rotfl2:

Susan and KArl ended up in bed. She tells Karl that she is happy. That happiness is short lived though when Edie calls Karl for juice. Seems Karl lied and really didn't tell Edie anything. Susan jumps out of bed and tosses Karl out of the house telling him he is a SOB. He promises that he really will break up with Edie. Susan tells him not to bother. :furious:

Not sure if it will be on next week as the previews were vague. They showed Edie confronting Karl about another woman. Susan smiling, Gaby at some kind of rally and Carlos threatening a high school jock that wants to walk their baby Lilly. :teeth:

I enjoyed the show but I am really wanting it to start coming back on a regular basis. I hate having to wait so long between new episodes. Thanks for the recap, I missed the first few minutes (not sure what happened with the DVD player).

i really hate it when shows "introduce characters" based on "convenience". Where was Bree's Dad & step-mom when Rex died? :confused3 We met Rex's mom, but why didn't Bree's parents make an appearance at the funeral?? Would have been nice to been "introduced" to them back then!

****Oh yeah...thanks for the great recap Elf!! I read 'em every time...even tho I watch the show!!

I nearly wet my pants with laughter when Lynette's babysitter said Parker offered her a fudgesicle to see her woo woo. She was eating a fudgesicle at the time and the look on Lynette's face was priceless! :lmao: :lmao: Mrs. Mcluskey said Parker wanted to put a sunflower seed in her woo woo and see if a baby grew :lmao:

Nice how Andrew's grandparents did not mind taking him if he ran someone over and killed them but if he was gay-no way. :rolleyes2 Also, Gaby really should have stuck with having no children.
