Thanks!
It was those comments that made me wonder if he knew. I couldnt remember if it was ever "made known" to him or just sort of implied.

My mom said she thought it was another repeat tonight. Anyone know for sure?
Thanks

Tonights episode was all new!!
WARNING!! Update is early this week, as the Elf will be busy tomorrow!!! :teeth:

Tonights episode opens with Gaby in the window waiting for company. The adoption lawyer shows up with a pregnant girl and Oooohhhh! What a doozy!
She is fairly homely with green teeth and 2 very lovely mole looking thingies on each side of her face. (at least I think that was her face! :rotfl: )

Well, Gabrielle is just not amused and tells Carlos that she will not be adopting this baby as the mother makes the clocks stop working in their house! :lmao: So the Salices send the lawyer and the pregnant girl packing.

Dr Ron shows up at Susans hospital room and asks her who Mke is. She hems and haws and he tells her that he had heard her say "I Love Mike" in the operating room. She tells Dr Ron that he is hallucinating and there is no Mike in her life. Susie also cops to the insurance fraud and that she plans to divorce Carl as soon as she is better. Dr Ron believes her.

Bree is at her AA meeting (doing embroidery no less) and is talking to her counseler and mconfides in him that she "is not really an alcoholic" she tells him all about her son Andrew and how he wants to sue her, the councelor doesn't believe her and gives her his card.

Lynette is at work and talking to a co worker named Veronica about working at Parch and Murphy. Lynette goes on to woo Veronica by telling her they have day care and Veronica signs on.

Carlos and Gaby are looking at mug shots in an attempt to find a beautiful baby. The lawyer has a visitor named Libby. Gaby likes Libby's looks~turns out Libby is a pole dancer at the local strip club! Libby does not know who the father of her baby is but this does not sway Carlos and Gaby.
Libby is looking for money and has to get back to her strip club.

Susan is visiting with Susan and showing off Libbys picture. Carl comes and grabs Susan's wheelchair calling her sweetie. This surprises Bree and Gaby .

Lynette is on the phone with Tom and Veronica is now working there too. Seems Veronica needs to go nurse her "baby" Only Problem is "baby" is like 5 years old!!

Cut to Bree walking into the living room with sandwiches for Andrew and his lawyer. Andrew is rude to his Mother but Bree ignores him and tells Andrew that he needs to be grounded. Andrew tells the lawyer he needs to win. The lawyer tells Andrew that Bree has it all together and it will be tough to win in court.

Matthew and Betty Applewhite are having a talk about money. Matthew wants money and Betty and son begin to argue about the other son Caleb.
When Caleb walks in, Betty gives Matthew $20 to leave and go shopping for a birthday gift for Danielle (Bree's daughter)

Lynette and Veronica and co workers are having a meeting. Veronica's child interupts the meeting, so she gets up to tend to him. The others think that Veronica is strange to nurse a 5 year old, especially at the office and decide that Lynette should be the one to discuss that with Veronica.

Carlos is on the phone with the lawyer. Libby rejected the Salices for parents as they are Mexican. Gaby throws a fit and refuses to accept anything else.

Lynette talks to Veronica about the breastfeeding. Veronica is not happy.
She informs Lynette that she will not stop nursing and insults Lynette's kids behavior. Oh, and she also mentions her lawyer maybe getting involved if that is needed. :wave2:

Carl, Susan and Dr Ron are having a cozy dinner. Carl and Ron are doing the dishes when Carl tampers with the pipe under the kitchen sink-oh, better call a plumber! He sends Dr Ron over to Mike Delfino's!!!
Mike is surprised, and as Ron and him are talking, Susan comes flying across the way in her wheelchair! When Susan falls out of said wheelchair, Ron is walking by furious and Mike sees them and threatens Ron about mistreating Susie. A fisticuff breaks out (as Carl is watching through a window) Ron drives off leaving Mike and Susan in the street. Susan gets mad at Mike.

Cut to Libby at the club showing some other stripper how to pole dance. Gaby shows up and wants to talk to Libby. Gaby gives Libby her necklace. A diamond. Libby changes her mind. Gaby starts to walk away and then calls Libby on the fact that she didnt really care about Gaby and Carlos being Mexican, She (Libby) just wanted extra gifts from them. Libby agrees. :rolleyes1

Veronicas kid tells Lynette he is thirsty. Lynette gives him chocolate milk. :stir:

Bree is at a bar at an upscale dept store. She spots Andrew there shopping with her credit card and gets in an argument with him. Andrew makes threats that he will blab about his "rotten childhood" and that Bree sexually assaulted him as a child. He re grabs Bree's credit card and storms off to by his boyfriend a gift. Bree heads back over to the bar for more wine. :guilty:
Cut to Bree waking up from being passed out in a fitting room wearing a designer dress. Oops! seems the store is closed and dark and Bree is locked inside!!! Bree then decides to change her clothes and grabs a manican arm to help her escape from the dark and closed store. Course, now Bree gets stuck in the security gate. She pops out her cell phone and calls Security and her AA councellor to rescue her. :p

While in the car, Bree confides in the councellor about her son Andrew. She wishes the counsellor had known her while Rex was still alive and then he would see she had it all together.

Danielle comes home and walks in on Caleb sitting on her bed. Caleb has a jewelry gift for Danielle, but Danielle wants Caleb to leave. Little tense for a minute here, but he does go.

Lynette comes across Veronica crying in her office and stops to see what is wrong. Seems Veronica is upset that her 5 year old stopped wanting to breastfeed! When Veronica tells Lynette that she is worried she will start to gain weight as the breastfeeding kept her slim, Lynette leaves.

Susan is reading a book when Mike comes over. Seems Mike feels bad about the Dr Ron ordeal and wants to apologize. Susan gets a call from Ron and Mike leaves.
Show ends here with the narrator Mary Alice talking about separation. Veronica's kid drinking the chocolate milk, Bree giving her wine collection to Goodwill, Ron on the phone with Susie, and Libby getting a visit from a boyfriend (seems Libby DOES know who the father of her baby is! oh-oh)

Scenes from next week:

Bree getting all kissy kissy with her AA counsellor,
Andrews lawyer asking Lynette about Bree drinking while babysitting, :guilty:
Carlos and Gaby running through a hospital,
Edie announcing her "surprise" wedding to Carl,
and Susan and Carl ducking flying glassware from the stairway! :teeth:

awww...thanks Elf!! You're so thoughtful..... :grouphug:

How about Carl watching out the window while Susan, Dr. Ron & Mike were outside?? :lmao: A really good episode tonight...... :thumbsup2 The only thing that bothers me is "here we go again" with the Susan-Mike "getting together" thing again.... :rolleyes2 everyone (including Susan and Mike) knows they want to be back together again.......

Elf - thanks for the recap! I missed the show tonight but after reading your recap I don't feel like I did! :)

'You talk to her Lynette, you're a woman, you can talk about milk and ****s and stuff...' :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah, Carl got just a little jealous when Susan and Dr. Ron got all kissy after dinner. He's not going to make that divorce easy for her, is he? I got a kick out of him watching the Susan/Dr. Ron/Mike scene outside too - eating dessert while watching was a nice touch. :lmao:

I agree though - it's only a matter of time before Susan and Mike get back together, although I'm sure they'll drag that out for a while. :confused3

I agree that it was a good show last night. Thanks for filling in a few blanks I had on the recap.

Dh says he's not a DH fan. Bull Pucky! Last night he passed up a new comedy show by Ron "Tater Salad" White to watch DH with me :rotfl:

It was painfully obvious that Gaby and Carlos will cough up a fortune in cash and gifts and in the end, leave the hospital empty handed. I'm not sure this is such a bad thing since Gaby doesn't appear to be in it for a baby as much as an accessory :guilty:

The AA sponser seems like a great guy but not at all Bree's type. And who's with me in secretly hoping Susan and Carl decide to stay married? I like them together.

I heard that Kyle Maclachlan will be joining the cast. Not sure if it will be permanent or just an extended guest stint but either way it seems his new show won't be long for the world. Too bad too because I really like him. I went to high school with him and he's a really nice guy. He was doing some filming here in VA Beach a while back and we ran into him in a restaurant. I was shocked he remembered me! Anyway, anyone got any info on how long he's staying on Wisteria Lane and who he'll be playing? I read Bree gets a new boyfriend and I think he'd be much more suited than the AA counselor so maybe it's him?

I missed the previews for next week's show. (Where was I?) :confused3

Anyways, it is an extreme no-no for people in AA to get involved with another member at the meetings for like the first 6 months. AA meetings are for sobriety, not to be used as a pick up joint. People don't need the added complications or distractions of a new relationship while starting to get sober. Plus, people with one addiction, may have a sex addiction too. Again, AA does not want people going to meetings simply to switch addictions. (Not saying it doesn't happen.)

I wonder how they will handle this in the storyline. :stir: Even though this show is a farce, I bet they will get an awful lot of letters from AA members if Bree ends up with her sponsor in some romantic way. :scratchin

Yep, what a funny episode!!!! :teeth:

I was glad to see an epsode where they got back to the out-right comedy instead of just the drama...

Gabby's one liners are really becoming a trademark. The one that went something like this...
"Cause I've read the constitution and it doesn't protect the 'ugly'.' :rotfl2:

And, Bree, trapped straddling that security gate!!! :rotfl2:

Susan franticly trying to wheel herself across the street, going off the curb and dumping herself head first onto the ground! :rotfl2:

I thought of that immediately! Even worse, from their interaction, it appears he's actually her sponsor which is a MAJOR no-no! Sort of like dating your shrink I guess.

Well he isn't an AA counselor, he is an other member, a potential sponser. However that is against the "rules". How about a Doc saying "I love you" for the 1st time right before surgery for inappropriate. Then gettting all mad at the patient when she is all druged up and doesn't give him the response he wants?

If it was approprate, it wouldn't fit the show. :teeth: They should call it "what NOT to do."

It is a little different because they are both members and on the same "level" not patient/ doctor relationship. However it is something AA as a group would NOT aprove of. In fact I think they discurage any type of new dating relationship at 1st. They want you to be able to take care of yourself 1st. Then type a plant. If you don't kill it you can get a pet. If you can take care of it, then you can try a relationship. They want you to focus on yourself at 1st.

It was a pretty funny show today, but I am getting a little tried of it. I wish just once a few of them could make some healthy choices. :guilty: It is starting to get a gilligans Island thing where you just see it coming every time and they are never going to "get off the Island".

I have to say, coming from a women who has breast feed her children longer then most the whole Lynette story line was pretty funny. The introducing chocolate milk was too funny. :rotfl: (see I did this myself, while I nursed them until around 2 years old, they never asked to nurse when they were just "thristy".) Then the mother's real motovation was to stay thin. Too funny. Maybe it is time for a 2nd child??????
