I think it was around 3:30 and then around 4:30. When they show seemingly insignificant things I always try to pay attention thinking that it will come up again. Don't know what the point of showing the clock was, maybe at a later date we'll know, or maybe there was no significance :confused3 I still think the hotel guy will play into this somehow. He seemed very eerie of George, and seemed very concerned when Bree was incoherent. I'm glad she said something about the 'antihistamines' so that he wouldn't just think she was drunk. I can see there being a trial later for Rex's death and then maybe the whole idea of George drugging Bree may come up from the hotel guy and then maybe they'd make a link to him drugging Rex... who knows!
That's exactly what I was thinking.

I thought last night's episode was good. Susan does often irritate me and last night was no exception. However, I did feel sorry for her in the end (in the street crying). I believe Mike will be back at some point.

I also agree that Gabrielle is not looking pregnant at all.

George has given me the creeps ever since he showed up on the screen. I am not sure what Bree really sees in him. I guess time will tell. If Andrew has any say, George will be exposed sooner than we think.

I can not wait for next week's episode.

They can't really lay off the drama because it's a night time "Soap Opera."

I usually like Susan but she is getting annoying. Boy did she look scary last night too.!!

An answer to our speculation. From an MSN entertainment recap:

Something rash: Bree seemed to want to move forward in her relationship with George, but when things started to get intimate, she broke out in a rash. Her doctor told her it was psychosomatic, but it wasn't going away. George fed her drugs that all but knocked her out, but didn't take advantage of her at that time. Once she woke up, however, he laid on the guilt -- and the night ended with Bree and George consummating their relationship. Just wait until Bree's son, Andrew, finds out.

George did not rape Bree.

I meant Susan's personal drama. Otherwise I love the show.

ETA: I was also very proud of Gabrielle this episode and how she didn't sleep with that guy and actually tricked him into admitting that he wasn't in love with her, but just wanted to sleep with her. Seems like she might really care about Carlos, or do you all think it's just because she realized the whole gardener affair wasn't really anything but lust?

I think the hotel guy will be a key in this at some point too. They made too much of a point to show his concern with her. The time thing was interesting too - I don't know why they made such a point to show what time it was.

Also, I totally agree about Gabrielle - I like how she's been handling herself the last few episodes, like she finally realized she loves her husband. Although I do think that it's odd that she shows no sign of being pregnant, esp. in the clothes she wears. She'd have to be showing at least a little bit by now.

I agree, on both.

However Gabreilles lack of any pregnancy sypmtoms is bugging me too. You can tell it is written by a guy! I could stand for her to throw up some, be too tired to get out of bed and look a little chubby thank you very much! :teeth:

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Dittos on Gabrielle! I think her character's a hoot, but believe me, I didn't look like THAT when I was pregnant! Even the first time!

I thought the whole Bree story line of going away with George was silly--she's very proper, and her husband hasn't been dead more than 2 months (judging by Gabrielle's outfits--she found out she was pg around the same time). I can't imagine even thinking about sex when my DH had just died. It just strikes me as ridiculous--they could have waited a few more months for her to be interested.

If you remember...Gabs HAD preg. symptoms in the beginning...that's how she found out she was preg... remember she bought that new convertible and puked in it?? Anyway, most of the episode was recapped. I just would like to "fill in the holes" for those who missed:
Lynette's boss (in a meeting w/ everyone) asked her to do a presentation to a client, but mentioned "not to wear the blue suit". Then everyone was chuckling and they seemed to find something wrong w/ every suit she owned. (Too old, spit-up crusted on it, holes in the seams, etc.....) This prompted Lynette to go out and buy about 4 or 5 suits....one being $900! :earseek: Her husband estimating the total suits at about $3000! So, she was going to return them all, after losing the arugment with Tom..(can't afford those luxuries and such). She changed her mind and changed into the $900 suit at work. She paper clipped :rotfl: the price tag to the tag inside the jacket, with the intention of wearing and returning it. Well, she didn't realize they also put tags on the skirts, and while starting her presentation, her boss noticed the skirt tag hanging out of her skirt, and went up to her and yanked it off! Well, now she is stuck OWNING this $900 suit she promised Tom she would return. So, she bought him really nice golf clubs--that, at first, he refused....but tried them out. She said they needed to do nice things for themselves once in a while to be better parents/people.... hence "feel like a better parent already". Paul came back and inquired Susan as to if she's seen Zach. Susan freaked cuz she knows Paul killed Mrs. Huber. Bree, Gabs and Lynette were outside witnessing Paul approach Susan (who was stunned to see him) and called the police. The police arrived and they (AND the entire neighborhood who gathered) went to Mike's house. Susan told the police that Paul had confessed Huber's murder to Mike and Mike had Huber's journals. When the police asked Mike, he denied everything. Susan was again, stunned and freaked. Mike left for a job, and when he pulled in the driveway that night, Susan popped up in his window :rotfl: .... she had been waiting for him. She wanted to know why he denied all the truths she professed. He said he was on probation, with a gun so, that wouldn't look good for him AND, in Huber's journals, she had written she was blackmailing Susan for burning down Edie's house....so, Susan understood and forgave. Another scene Susan was under her sink and there was a knock at the door. Susan said "come in". Well, it was Paul, and again, terrified. He just wanted to know what was up with Zach....and she said she didn't know where he was. (All this while reaching into a sudsy sink behind her for a knife) Well, he asked what she was reaching for, she said a knife, and he got one out of the butcher block and approached her with it. Of course, she is now scared to death: Paul is coming at her w/ a knife! So, she starts "singing"...she told Paul that she found Zach and thought Zach might have gone to Utah to look for him &/or his family (since that's where MaryAlice & Paul were from). She said, "Ok, so I gave him bus fare"... so, now Paul realized Susan "persuaded/sent Zach to Utah" and Paul told Mike when they met up. (I forget who approached who...might have been Mike going to Paul's) Susan and her Mom were altering her Mom's wedding dress and were "prying" as to whether Mike would ever propose. It came to conclude that he WAS planning on doing so..... But, as you've read, he was furious with Susan for "finding Zach" and not telling him. As mentioned, Bree wanted to be with George, but broke out in rash. He gave her "antihistamines"..which, was probably "roofies". So, that being the "big" story, was already pretty well recapped. Same for Gabby....the lawyer was shot by disgruntled client's ex....he ended up in hospital w/ shoulder wound. Gabs was the only person to visit in 2 days. She asked why he didn't eat, and he said he couldn't cut his food..so, she did. She read a card that came with flowers from the people in his office...they didn't like him either! So, Gabby was his only friend in the world, apparently, and after he got out of the hospital, in court their lawyer quit, figured he was too "in love/lust" w/ Gabs to represent Carlos--who happens to be in jail for beating up John the gardener's gay roommate. and, after beating up the gay cable guy....they pegged it as a "hate crime" and I think violation of sentence..cuz when he beat the roommate, he was on "house arrest". So, as before mentioned, Gabby tricked him and pretty much told him she'd have him arrested for sexual harrassment if he didn't get Carlos out of jail. That story line was pretty much recapped earlier. The Applewhite's were not in the episode at all. I guess that sums it up.....if I forgot anything, I'm sure someone will come along and add........

Hey! isn't that the guy that was on HOUSE last nite?? Looks just like him!

Sorry to get off subject!

You're right - the guy on House did look like him - wasn't that a sad storyline?
Back on topic - Whatever the actor who played Caleb did ... Man did he blow it!!! I wonder what he did? :confused3

They said on "The View" that he was flashing people.

You know I was just thinking about the whole Gabby pregnancy thing. Remember a couple of weeks ago when she had sonogram pictures? I don't have kids, so I'm not an expert, but don't doctor's usually wait until your 4-5 months along before doing sonograms? At 4 months, she would definitely being showing, at least a little roundness! And she pointed the foot out to Carlos. If she's only around 2 months, is the foot even that defined on a fetus that young? Things that make you go hmmmmm.

And ultrasound CAN be done very early (sometimes even to confirm pregnancy to begin with). Also, fingers and toes are developed during the second month in utero ..... not to get completely off topic :rotfl:

HOWEVER..... I have no idea how far along Gabrielle is supposed to be. You're all right, there isn't a whole lot of consistency!

You know, I just can't picture them ever making her character look "pregnant". I just don't see it. I'm wondering if something bad will happen, like she will lose the baby. Hmmm.......

I heard this on the radio this afternoon - the actor who plays Caleb, the guy locked in the Applewhite's basement, was fired for "misconduct":

I wonder what happened... :confused3 Sounds like he just blew his big break.

I saw a brief mention of this in my local paper this morning. So I guess it is back to the drawing board for this character.
