Kinda looking that way. WOW!

That was good. This is why I keep wacthing (that and to discuss it with you guys.) Every so often they get a good one. :thumbsup2

WOW! That was an intense episode. I actually feel a little bad for Nora. She was annoying, but she didn't deserve that either. :guilty:

Tonight should be a good night:

We open with Carolyn sitting in her car thinking about all her daily plans. She is clearly upset with the news she received from some busy body and now wants revenge.
She heads up to Harveys store and confronts her DH with a gun.

Lynette had a dream last night about the last time she say and spoke to MaryAlice. It was hard for Lynette to think about the last time she saw MAry Alice before she killed herself. She was now standing on the sidewalk talking to Susan and Gabby when they spot the new man that bought the Young house.

Orson is quite the Martha Stewart it seems as he is quite handy with the staple gun! Bree wants to know more about Alma and he explains to her his "facts". Orson tells Bree about Harvey cheating on Carolyn.

Cut to Lynette and Tom when Nora pulls up. Lynette and Nora have words. Nora tells Tom that she and Kayla are moving to Mexico and he should blame Lynette as Lynette has told Nora that she cant speak to Tom. She then speeds off in her car.

Meanwhile, Carlos is at his Lawyers office along with Gabby and the judge.

Susan is scrubbing the house and Julie wants to know if she should go to the store and get toothpaste. Susan quizzes Julie about a beer can and Julie sounds off about all she does for her Mother and leaves for the store.

Bree is happily skipping down the street when Carolyn drives by with a smarmy comment about Orson. Bree then tells her she (Carolyn) should worry about her own marriage and Carolyn pulls over and demands to know what Bree means. Bree then asks Carolyn if the name Monique means anything to her.

Tom is sitting on the couch and Lynette is telling Tom that Nora should be sued for custody. Tom is surprised that Lynette is willing to do this.

Gabby comes home to find Carlos on the couch reading the paper. She goes in the kitchen and starts smashing glassware. Carlos retaliates by smashing the living room walls with a sledgehammer!

Okay, back to the store where Julie has now come across Austin in the mouthwash section. Cut to Carolyn calling HArvey on the phone to talk about Monique. Harvey denies anything happened 8 months ago but Carolyn presses him further. He tells her Monique is dead.
Back to Julie who is now standing at the cash register with Austin. A bottle of alcohol slips out of Julies backpack and the cashier calls Harvey over.

Now Lynette is on her way to the store.

Meanwhile Edie gets a call from Austin that he just got caught at the store shoplifting.
Susan is trying to shut her luggage and talking to Ian about the upcoming trip to Paris. The phone rings and it is the store.

Lynette is chatting up the new neighbor at the store.
She looks over and sees Nora coming in the door! and cuts the man off.

Susan, Edie, Julie and Austin are in the managers office (Harvey) discussing the shoplifting. This is when Carolyn enters the store with the gun. Edie is telling HArvey that Austin should work off his stealing by being a free stockboy for a month.

Nora comes across Lynette. Nora is mad because Lynette attorney has informed Nora about the custody of Kayla. Nora and Lynette are arguing when the gun from Carolyn goes off. This woman is storming through the store shooting up the joint as she is not happy with Harvey. She then tells everyone to get down and we cut to commercial.

Carolyn is still holding that gun when we get back. Susan and Ian are in the car and Susan wants to delay the trip because of Julie.

Carolyn is threatening people to not move and then proceeds to shoot at a boy that is trying to escape. She nails him in the back right shoulder and he falls to the ground. Carolyn is gathering all the hostages to the back of the store and telling them all about her cheating hubby. Meanwhile Edie and Harvey are in the office and Edie wants Harvey to get out there and address the situation.

Lynette is on her cell trying to call Tom when one of her brats gets the phone complaining about his sibling. Carolyn suddenly appears and is now poking her gun in Lynettes cheek. Lynette hands the cell to Carolyn. Carolyn closes the cell phone disconnecting the call.

People are now running from the store and Susan is confused. Susan tries to get in the door to the store and wants Carolyn to open the door as Julie is inside. "Open up the door Carolyn, there is a crazy person in there" Carolyn then holds up her gun and says "Yeah, I know" :teeth:

Back at the Solice household, a neighbor wants Gabby to turn on the TV. Gabby is standing there with a baseball bat and tells her she should have come over 10 minutes earlier. She then looks past Gabby and sees the destroyed house. Seems Gabrielle has been a busy little bee with her baseball bat and has smashed the joint up pretty bad. Suddenly we see Carlos marching through whats left of the living room with a chainsaw. He's headed upstairs! Gabby shuts the door and heads up after him.

Now we see the news on Brees TV. They are reporting on the shooting at the grocery store. Bree and Orson are busy serving cookies to the neighbors while watching the coverage when the doorbell rings. Bree opens to more neighbors.

Carolyn is telling the hostages that she is not the bad guy and that Harvey cheated on her and now she is upset that the whole town is laughing at her.
Her cell phone rings and its her friend Tish. Seems Carolyn forgot about her volunteer appointment today. First Carolyn apologizes and then she tells her friend to turn on the TV!
Susan wants the police to let her in the store. Not happening. Susan spots a bullhorn and makes her way to the store and yells attention! She is yelling to Carolyn that she wants to be a hostage and to let her dd go.
The police apprehend Susan and her bullhorn.

Bree has quite a roomful at her house and the news reports about Carolyn holding up the store. Andrew has now answered the phone and told Bree about all their friends in the store.

Tom comes to the door with all the kids and asks Bree to babysit as he has to go to the Dr and Lynette is taking too long at the market! Seems Tommy boy missed the news about his wife. :rolleyes1

Orson notices Bree missing from their living room and seeks her out. He finds her in the kitchen slicing up stale bread. She feels responsible as she told Carolyn about Harvey.

Back to the store and Carolyn is having a chat with the hostages about her life and how she hasnt had a cookie in 6 years. Harvey now gets on the loudspeaker and tells Carolyn that he loves her. When Carolyn realizes that Harvey is in the office qith a woman she gets even madder.

Gabby and Carlos are now in the yard discussing the divorce and Gabby tells Carlos that she doesnt like what the divorce is doing to her. They hug.

Tom finds Susan at the store parking lot and tells Susan that Carolyn is a Sunday school teacher and they would never shoot at people. He starts reminiscing about Lynette and tries to convince himself that things will be fine.

Nora and Lynette have now drawn attention to themselves. Nora tells Carolyn that Lynette is trying to take her kid away. Lynette tells Carolyn about Nora having an affair with Tom in the past when Carolyn asks Lynette why she didn't mention that sooner and shoots Nora in the chest. Lynette is shocked and CArolyn tells Lynette that she should thank her.

Ian now has returned to Susan in the parking lot. No word on who got shot but it is a female. Bree is tryng to get Lynettes boys away from the TV. She is trying to help Nora. Looks like Nora is dying as she asks Lynette to take care of her daughter Kayla. Nora dies. Lynette is crying.
Carolyn thinks Lynette should be happy because Nora is shot. Lynette starts yelling at Carolyn that maybe Carolyn deserved Harvey cheating on her. This statement outrages Carolyn who aims the gun at Lynette. At the same time, the new neighbor man tosses a can of food at Carolyns head causing her to shoot Lynette in the left upper arm. Austin then moves in and starts to wrestle with Carolyn when all of a sudden another shot is heard and Carolyn is shot! Seems the mother of one of Carolyns Sunday school students is the trigger puller. CAROLYN IS NOW DEAD.
The hostages start to run from the market. Julie runs to Susan.
Gabby and Carlos comfort each other back at home.
Julie then hugs Austin. Lynette comes out on a stretcher. The show ends with Mary Alice going back over Lynettes dream while we see Lynette in the hospital bed.
Mary Alice is telling Lynette that we cant prevent what we cant predict.

Next week we see Susan telling Julie that she cannot see Austin. We see Julie and Austin driving away on a motorcycle with Susan running out after them.
Seems Gabby is going back to modeling again.
Orsons mother is making her debut by announcing to Orson that she should have smothered him in his crib while she had the chance. Andrew wants to know if he can call her Grandma!!!

Wow-I did not see that coming. What an ending. Seems like Desperate Housewives is back to the way it was the first season.

Great episode!

All I can say is wow!!! We Nora got shot, I jumped 10 feet high! I even said it out loud "OMG they shot Nora!" Then as all of them were exiting I started to cry  ....Dh thinks I am so nutty! Can I say GO LYNNETTE!!! I am so proud of her for standing up for herself! I have missed that so much! I mean sure, it got Nora killed and her shot.... :happytv:

That was a great episode! I really like that it wasn't as light-hearted as usual - much more intense.

I wonder if Carlos and Gabrielle are done with their version of the War of the Roses?

And I really hope they keep Orson on for a while - he's got some funny one-liners and really keeps up with Bree.

I knew it was going to be Nora, but I still screamed when it happened. That was pretty shocking that they showed it. Good episode, but too many unbelievables. Like, why didn't Lynette and Nora just run out the front door when they heard shots? They were right there. How did Carolyn corral all those people to the back of the store by herself. Why was Bree having a hostage party? Why did the guy hole up in his office instead of trying to talk Carolyn into releasing the hostages? :confused3

When Lynette and Nora heard the shot, they had been arguing. I think curiousity got the best of Lynette, and she had to see what was happening.
Carolyn was waving her gun around and that is how she got the hostages back to the back of the store.

Harvey and Edie had somehow gone back into the office together when Edie was asking Harvey to let her nephew "work off his whiskey shoplifting charge"
The police suggest to Harvey that he talk to his wife in an effort to get her to surrender. Carolyn was furious though, and wasnt goin' down withoutta fight. :teeth:

What an awesome episode. And MrsKreamer, I cried too! :rotfl:

Finally a good episode. I've been disappointed with this season. I actually missed the Applewhites. Hopefully this is the first of better episodes to come!

It'll be interesting to see how Lynette will deal with another kid in the house!
