Got our flights booked yesterday!! First time using points on Southwest, too. Ended up with a heck of a deal on the flight back on the 13th, but on the flight down we splurged an extra 5000 points (total, not each) to get an earlier direct flight rather than one with a layover (even if the layover didn't have a plan change).

...of course they still got me for the early boarding feature per ticket, but whatever, LOL.

We also changed our dates!! WE ADDED A DAY! We're getting in on Dec 3rd now (From a "who's going" standpoint, it's me, my DW and my DS9)

Mainly so we could relax the day we get there, walk around, go tour AoA, etc. Haven't decided if we're going to add a day to our tickets or not yet. Its only $30 total to add another day, but we're not sure we'll use them.

We went to AoA last year, my littlest is obsessed with Cars. We had lunch there (so good) and spent 2 hours wandering the different sections. He went crazy for the cars. Well worth the bus rides to get there for us. Would love to stay in the cars suite, but I'm way too cheap for that! Haha

The Cars suite would be amazing to experience once! I won't lie, I was half tempted to add the new day as an AoA Suite just to do it. Especially since we're staying at POP anywho for our trip. Of course, then I started thinking about staying at POFQ that first night, maybe the Contemporary... Yeah, then came back down to earth and just added the day at POP after all. We'll just walk across the bridge to AoA, eat dinner there and hit their front desk to see if we can tour one of the suites maybe.

Our last trip was the 17th-20th (in 2014) and crowds weren't awful at all. Very manageable.

Hi Everyone! I've been lurking on the boards for a while, figured I should sign up and join in! We've booked Dec 14-21 at All Star Music, first trip for our family - Me, DH, DS - 9 and DD -7. We aren't telling the kids till a couple of days before, and I'm madly trying to plan out our ADRs at this point!

I'm going 11/24-12/3 this year so I'm glad to hear you had a great time. Last year we did 12/10-12/18 and had a great time. It was crowded but very manageable. The only problem we had was our first day at Epcot but that had a lot to do with me having a hard time navigating around the park.

Yay for adding a Day! We also 100% love AOA and can easily spend a lazy day just taking photos and walking around the resort, we also head over to POP and walk around there too and get a tie dye cheesecake! LOL!!

We always add on days because after a certain point it's cheap and even if we only go to the park for 2 hours we are happy with it! LOL

We have 24 days I go. Wow!!! Just over 3 weeks!!! But yes we're definitely making ADRs. We're still ironing out the plan hopefully I'll have them locked down by next weekend.
