My trip is paid for! I used the Get Away Today layaway plan, and really shouldn't of had it payed off till November. I received a post card from DL that was cheaper than GAWT, I was all ready to cancel with them and they said we will price match it. Would you believe I got 7.45 refund. I have my car service paid for(Execucar ) Now all I have to do is wait for Dec.10th.

Just purchased our flights! No turning back now!!


Just a word of advise for other mid-December travelers out there: I was not expecting such a huge jump in airfare! Had we gone one week earlier, we would have saved nearly $250 for two people. We really wanted our original dates, so I just sucked it up and paid the price, but others may want to really look at those flight prices!

Woot! Just decided with dh today we are going to surprise the kids with an early Christmas trip to DLR for dh's birthday!!! . Nothing's been booked yet, but our plan is for the kids to open a special gift (as a part of our traditional family advent activities) after dinner on Thurs 12/18. It will be our tickets/package from Costco . We'll help them pack, send them to bed, and head out about midnight (we're just outside of Sacto) so we'll get to he hotel at about 7am & hit the parks that day.

Dh & I are thinking of two nights at the Grand, but it might be the DLH. We just got back from a week at the PPH & loved it, but we want to check out one of the other hotels just because.

Alright, sorry for the "extra paperwork" but our plans changed slightly. Instead of the 22nd to 28th we will be there the 21st to the 27th and will be staying at Americas Best Value Inn Anaheim. OFFICIALLY BOOKED!!! Updating my PTR now!
