11 days to go! Im almost at single digits:cool1:

I started packing and all of sudden my suitcase is smaller than I thought  For the most part Ive been packing "warm weather" clothes. Im going to add some jeans and sweatshirts, but Im hoping I wont need them too much:thumbsup2

The weather for WDW is really looking good so far! The weather channel 10 day outlook for WDW is my current home page on my computer:lmao: The one day it was suppossed to be really cold so far was already changed to upper 70s! Im hoping the warm weather really holds up and it stays as nice as it looks now! I think its a good sign that its still pretty warm up north:thumbsup2

Forgot to mention, in two weeks from today I will be at MK! Crystal Palace lunch reservations that day:cloud9: Can't wait!

Exciting!

I'm so ready to decorate the tree this weekend with my Disney ornaments!

Me too!! Usually don't like to put it up until at least Dec. 1.....but Dec. 1 we will be strolling MK, so need to get it done before we leave.

We have a trip planned over Christmas. This will be our 3rd Christmas morning at the MK.

10 days!!!! Its getting exciting! I think the real excitment will kick in after Thanksgiving though!

Im going shopping today for some trip stuff. One of the things Im looking for is a new bathing suit, I think that might be hard to find in NY in November though:rolleyes1

10 days here as well :) Soooo excited about taking our little one to Disney for the first time!!! Looked at the weather forecast... kind of scary! Will have to pack up many layers. Last time we went was in August, we complained about the intense heat... guess this is Karma!

I think during the day you'll probably we okay, I agree though the nighttime temps don't look like what I'd be comfortable with. I'm thinking jeans and t-shirt during the day and a sweater and maybe a hat after the sun goes down.

One week from tonight we get on a red eye! :woohoo:

For now..........off to cook some food for tomorrow

Don't be afraid of the cold! Just look at it as a chance to experience Christmas at Disney with the true feel of the season! I'm not ready to bare my pale skin anyway! :rotfl2:

I've been down in the chilly weather several times and I actually enjoy it since we never swim at Disney plus I think it keeps some visitors away!

Don't pack just a heavy coat. Bring several layers that you can take off and put back on as needed. I winter camp and that's the secret to keeping warm as well! Those cheap, one-size fits all stretchy gloves that you can find at $ stores etc. are great for stuffing in the corners of your suitcase and pockets. A thin fleece scarf works for your neck and your head. A few instant-heat packets for your hands and feet will come in handy for a real cold spell; just remember to never apply directly to bare skin especially children's feet. Tights or leggings are great for women; I lived in those under my pants one spring break in London.

Even if it's cold when we leave our house I will leave my big coat in the car at the airport. I hate to travel with a big coat on the plane. I might shiver a bit waiting to get on the shuttle bus from the parking lot but after that it's worth it not to have to worry. I'll have a light jacket in my carry-on.

:confused3 What weather are you looking at? I see 70s for the next 10 days down there right now:cool1:

Down to 9 days:cool1: SINGLE DIGITS BABY:cool1::cool1: Did online check in yesterday, this trip still doesnt seem like its so close though:laughing: Weather is still looking good by my standards! 70s during day and 50s at night, Ill take that! Im not packing too many layers, I know some of you might think Im crazy. Im packing some sweatshirts and jeans, but Im positive that its gonna stay nice and Ill only need those at night:thumbsup2 Unless the waether takes a dramatic turn by the next Saturday (they start to predict 40s or 50s everyday), Im not packing much more. Actually, I am pretty much packed:cool1: I think this upcoming week is going to be pretty busy so I think Ill be glad I packed early.

On another disney note, Im going to see The Lion King on broadway on Tuesday:cool1: Very excited for that! The Lion King was the only movie I ever watched when I was little and I hear the broadway show is spectacular! Cant wait to finally see it for myself.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

hehehe... serves me right to look at weather too soon! I was eager to start packing. When I looked it was highs of 18 lows of 8 Celsius (not sure about Fahrenheit) ... now it's warm again! Thank you klmall for the cool weather tips. I don't really mind cool (I'm from Canada after all :rotfl:) I was just confused as to how to pack.

I am just so excited!!! Have done online check-in... I'm having vacation dreams... how will I ever be able to contain myself until then?

You're welcome souris!

Can't wait to put the tree up this weekend!
