Yippee! I won't be without family while spending Christmas with Mickey! My daughter, her hubby, and 1-yr-old daughter will be joining me. Also, my hubby's new employer (after 16 months unemployed) has given him the green light to take the time off! We will be a bit cramped in our studio at OKW, but ours is close to the Hospitality House, so I doubt we'll spend much time with everybody together in the room other than to sleep. Woo hoo! Two birthdays to celebrate and 2 first-visits to celebrate!

AHHH! Me and my sister just booked our trip! We are heading down December 18th and coming back the 22nd! We will be going to MVMCP on the 18th! We will be staying at POP for 4 nights/ 5 days! AHH! WE CAN'T WAIT!

We have never been there at this time since we were 5 and 3. Now I am 22 and she is 19 and this is the last chance that we will have to do this before I graduate college and get a big girl teaching job! WHY NOT!? Right?! haha

So, what's the weather like?! What does everyone pack to wear?! What kind of shoes!? These are all things that I am curious about, and who better to ask than my fellow disers!

Depends, last year when we went (12th-20th) it..was..COLD. Years before that in December, high 60's to mid 70's during the day. Low 50s at night and the morning. This year according to the Farmers Almanac (Which my grandmother swears by) This is for December.

1st-3rd. Squalls in Mississippi River Valley. Showers south into Florida and the Gulf Coast States.
4th-7th. Clear and cold. Widespread frosts.
8th-11th. Heavy, showery rains and perhaps thunderstorms.
12th-15th. Cold and dry initially, then scattered showers.
16th-19th. Showers, followed by clearing.
20th-23rd. Increasing clouds.
24th-27th. Stormy, then turning fair and colder.
28th-31st. Fair and cold, then becoming milder.

And as for shoes, i just bought flip flops (i'm 21, i hate closed toe shoes) they're by Olukai. they're the most amazing flip flops. And for clothes, pack a few days before you leave and pack according to the weather forecast.
