Today is my first day back on this thread since Oct. 6th. I had to call 911 on the morning of the 7th when my DH passed out. He is still in the hosptial and we are praying that they finish checking things out and he'll get home next week. Numerous tests have been done and some problems identified and are being addressed. We had a praise when a biopsy report came back as negative. A picc line was implanted today to administer IV antibiotics. There is still a chance we will not have to cancel our WDW trip but we're close to our 45 day countdown decision date. I may be looking into scooter rentals if we are able to go.

9 of our 14 ADR's disappeared but I just spoke with a cast member who was able to pull all of them up.

My friends on the AKL thread have been sending prayers, thoughts and pixie dust our way.

My ADRs are gone, too, but I think I'll wait until the Oct. 20 upgrade to freak out! Since I have the confirmation numbers, I'm going to guess that they're there in the database but the software simply isn't pulling them up on the front end. And I'm hoping that the new upgrade will correct the issue. (Can you tell that I work in computers?)

All of my ADR's were missing, and when I tried to pull up the resort reservation it was taking so long that I just gave up. I will check after the next upgrade, and probably call, just to make sure!

Yeah I'm calling them on Monday to verify. There are 4 showing up but the other 6 that I have aren't showing up even when I look them up with confirmation codes.

We love going to this!! The kids last year got to Dance with Pluto. They got the coolest rice krispy treats too. Plus DH was able to snag all the DVC pins. We got lucky this year and don't need to change our plans to go to one!

We will be there Dec 23rd!

This happened to me yesterday with one reservation. I called Disney and they were able to find it, no problem. I would call just to see.

I'm also posting for the first time on this thread to say that I'll be in the World 12/17-12/21 at CBR! So excited!!!!! We just paid off the trip today.

Well DVC accidentally posted the wrong dates for the Merry Mixer. They posted 2009s they say they are still planning this years so we will have to see when it is.

It is held at the international gateway by where the boat dock is. Its pretty cool my kids had a blast. Its just a little party for DVC members and their guests. They had a DJ last year who played games with the kids. Pluto was dancing with the kids last year. They had Mickey and Minnie and Chip and Dale out for pics with a photopass person. They were in their Christmas gear. They gave out free rice krispy treats and had free juice and water. Main thing for us was buying all the new DVC pins.When you left each family got a DVC ornament.

We've been going the from the 18-26th for the last 2 years. The first few days have always been good. By the 20th it gets noticeably busier. We were always able to do everything we wanted as long as we got up early and hit rope drop. We got to DHS 3 hours after opening and TSM had 210 min wait, Indiana Jones was pretty much packed for the next 2 shows, and pretty much every other ride or show was the same way. We went back the next day at rope drop and we were able to do everything we wanted.

Its definatly do able you just need to have a plan. We love that time of year!

Greetings from Texas!

We are headed to the World December 21-26th. It will be our 2nd trip and we are staying at All Star Movies with the free dining plan. (upgraded to the DDP)

We usually spend Christmas Day at home, but since we are driving (wow! on the airfare this time of year!) it worked out that we will be at the parks. New tradition, maybe?

We are spending Christmas Day at HS, with evening dinner reservations at Mama Melrose's and the Fantasmic Dinner package.

Super excited to find a thread of others going in December! I can feed my planning addiction, since my husband doesn't seem interested....
