I usually put so much ketchup on everything I eat. So when we ate there, asking for ketchup at WC was something I could get used to!Whispering Canyon was good. We liked the food and it's a lot of fun. You'll be there for a while. They play games, ride around on wooden horses and do the Hokey-Pokey.
Don't forget to ask for ketchup.
I think I'm going to forget about getting reserved seating. That way we can go if we want to, or skip it if we don't. I'm thinking I might go without the kids. I usually end up sitting on the rocks outside of Everest for HOURS while DH and the boys ride over, and over, and over... Maybe I'll go then.
69 DAYS 
I started making the countdown chart for the kids. I went online and printed out 60 pictures of our resort, restaurants we are eating at, rides the kids love characters, and treats we want to try. So far all I have is the layout and the pictures glued on. On Tues when the kids go back to school I will get my Cricut out and the the heading and make the Mickey heads that I will attach with brads and they can rip off each day.
Now I have to figure out what I want to get delivered to the room when we go so I can call the florist or one of the other people who do gift baskets. Oh and I have to make our shirts. I want to do matching tye dye shirts but I am horrible at it. UGHHHH
We'll be at Wilderness Lodge December 12-17. The only thing we have left to decide is what night we'll attend MVMCP. Any opinions?

I'm not sure what other days parties are on that week. I think the 16th and 17th, too?
That makes DH happy! (Well, of course that also means we spent a lot of money to earn the Disney rewards which does NOT make DH happy!) 
My daughter is currently building a castle out of blocks that she wants to take to WDW to show "Cinderelly".
My mom saw the Finding Nemo show and said it was very much like the ice capades show, which we have already seen. As my kids aren't huge Nemo fans, we'll be skipping it.
Maybe you could take a photo of it that she could give to Cinderelly?

Might I add - Thank you all for teaching me EVERYTHING! I was a lurker last year and had a better trip because of it. This year I joined in and the girls are always asking what I have learned today that will add to the magic.
I must fix my ticker...9 weeks and 2 days until Just the Girls Magic Christmas! (leaving DH at home)
yeah for the DIS- isn't it great going and actually knowing stuff and not just standing around wondering where the heck to go?

love WCC- we've had a few good dinners there- love the skillet and all the fun games and heckling. You might just make it- just arrive early for your ADR and try and be seated early. you can take the boat from the WL to MK and might just make it in time, but it will be close probably!

holy cow that is a LOT of rewards points. i have like $300 and thought that was good. that is a LOT of charging.PAID. IN. FULL.
I called my TA today because my "pay date" is Oct. 15 and the disney system is supposed to be down for a couple of days next week. Thought I would just get it out of the way. I had $1,128 in Disney rewards $$.
Doing the paid in full happy dance today! Means it's all that much more REAL! WOOT!
we plan to watch the holiday WISHES from the top of the world lounge one night, since we are staying our first time as DVC at BLT. we plan to catch it in person too since we are doing MVMCP, but i imagine you can see some of it from CR too- especially if you do Cali Grill!

For the most part the Disney Christmas trip is planned so nothing to really worry about (except for an occasional changitis of ADRs

We're going twice within a 7 month period (this past May for 10 days and now in December for 6 days). I couldn't believe DH agreed to it.
