I think DH and I are pretty firm on our ADRs now...except for the Via Napoli lunch. That would be an OOP meal, in addition to Sci-Fi and Cape May, so it might get cut. There have only been a couple of changes since I last posted on here. One is that we're no longer doing Sci-Fi lunch on 12/3...moved it to an earlier time on 12/10.

Okay I made another change to my ADRs even though I said I wasn't going to.

I've been hearing not that great of reviews about Olivia's Cafe at OKW so I'm trying to get those canceled and replaced with other places.

Dec 25th I got lucky and canceled that reservation and got one at Hollywood and Vine

Dec 26 is our resort day

Dec 27th is our Epcot day

Can any of you make any suggestions about places to eat for breakfast?

Where are you hearing the bad reviews? I am planning on doing atleast one dinner and one breakfast for our Dec trip and really hope thats not true. I wasn't going to book them but I had read some good reviews so figured why not. UGHHH now I might have to change some ADRs.

About Olivia's at OKW.. I ate there a few years ago and had a lovely meal - one of the most memorable things was that we had an excellent CM as our server
I've pretty much stopped reading restaurant reviews .. IMO a meal can be so subjective.. it depends on the chef/server/food choice/other diners/atmosphere.. maybe give it a try, especially if you're staying at OKW

I made some changes to my original ADR's.

Nine Dragons Restaurant -Epcot Thursday December 9, 2010 6:00 pm (cancelled tutto italia)

Dec 12 changed donald's tusker house breakfast to 8:25 am, changed yak n yeti to 2:30 pm,

Dec 13 changed Artist Pointe to 8pm

Dec 15 cancelled Beirgarten dinner ad booked Tutto Italia Candlelight Processional dinner 5:25pm for 8:15 show

Dec 16 cancelled whispering canyon and changed Liberty Tree Tavern to 11:35 am

Sorry to mess up your lovely listm but so thankful that you take the time to do it

I've pretty much stopped reading restaurant reviews .. IMO a meal can be so subjective.. it depends on the chef/server/food choice/other diners/atmosphere.. maybe give it a try, especially if you're staying at OKW

I think I will keep my ADRs for Olivia's as well. I know I hadn't read anything bad about them recently so I was wondering what it was. I learned the hard way to read the reviews and see if what they thought was bad I would feel the same way about. I know 2 years ago LeCellier was getting dogged and their menu had changed and every was raving about Teppen Edo. Well silly me changed my ADR and I could never switch back. We had an almost 2 hour wait for TE and I was not impressed at all. That same trip I ALMOST gave up Ohana because everyone was saying how bad it was. Well that was our favorite meal of the entire trip. I do like to see the bad as well as the good though just so I know what not to do or order. If we go once and its horrible we can always CS it or go off site the one night if we can't do a walk up.

I think I will keep mine as well.

Yay! I just booked the room for our annual Halloween Ghost Train trip. With football and Halloween coming up, December will be here before we know it!!!

My BFF arrived at WDW late last night. They drove! So now both of my good friends and their families are enjoying WDW...and I'm here trying not to change any more ADRs! (just kidding!)

Actually yesterday was the big reveal to my kids (you can read about it in my PTR if you're interested) so that was pretty fun. The kids are excited and now it's time to start making some countdown calendars!

We went in 2007 and it was close, maybe 27°. Local TV news continually kept up with the 'Hard Freeze Warnings, and a hard freeze warning means....'

It drove us crazy!

We went to the China Pavilion and had copious amounts of hot tea interspersed with anti-freeze. Saw one guy out there with shorts and a Tee shirt. We had virtually every piece of clothing on just to keep warm!

Florida weather is insane in Dec. In 08 it was warm for the first 3 days. I mean low 80s it was gorgeous we went swimming.Then we woke up and it was cold. I think it was maybe 50 tops then the night hit and it was so cold. My darling DH said I am in Florida I am wearing shorts. Well lets just say I told him I told you so about a million times.

Then last year it was cold every morning. One morning it was in the 30s and then it would warm up to a balmy 58. I did not bring the swim suits since the forcast said it would never get to 70. Then WHAM one day its 80 and the kids are yelling at me because they couldn't go swimming.

So December weather is a crap shoot pack for anything and everything.
